A Missed Flight

((Yes. I picked that title.))

It was Palus Day for the Lapanguis species on the jungle planet of Alc. All Lapanguis of the tribe settled there differences and came together for this time of celebration. The yearly event always featured a large feast which was currently being prepared. While the females and young started a fire and began to cook the food, the males were still out hunting to add to the stock of raw meat.

Tensions were high as the threat of another, less successful tribe may attack with the intention to steal the food of the feast. The Lapanguis were a naturally defensive species and with this threat many had their weapon on hand incase something were to happen. One by one, each male of the tribe returned without much success from the hunt. Finally, the tribe leader arrived and took his place on the throne located at the far end of the crudely made wooden table that would be accompany the food when the time came.

With each minute that passed, more and more food was placed onto the table and eventually the table was set. It was time to start the feast.

Sarah was sitting down somewhere in the ship, trying to remember anything about the family she might have had. ". . .Eric. . .why does that name sound familiar." She softly spoke, remembering the name the kind woman told her. Eventually, she stood up, and went over to see the man who was piloting the ship, wanting to ask him a question about the Galaxy that she knew so little about.

Location: Orbit of Alc

Alask was in orbit of the strange looking planet for two reasons. Artifacts, and other exploration. The only things he brought was his robes and armor, which were on of course, his green light saber, and a blaster rifle. He forgot his old one on another ship. He walked through the corridors after grabbing some ammo. His hood was up and his eyes weren't glowing that day. It was unusual but he expected it. He walked into the cockpit and shut the slide door with a press of a button non the wall as he sat down. He analyzed the planet as one of his passengers walked over to him. He was really glad he wasn't going alone on this adventure. Sarah Mist of the Grey Order was there along with a translator he probably would pay for his services. He turned his head to hear what she had to say.

Sarah wasn't truely of the gray order just yet, she was mostly there to figure out what is going on, and what she truly wants to do with her life. She brought with her on this trip a vibroblade, for she was not given a lightsaber prior to this date, and a newly pair of robes. She then went over to sit down in one of the chairs, and turned her head to face him.

"Where exactly are we at? What are we going to expect, and I don't feel comfy on a ship. . .It doesn't feel right. . ."

He smiled to her comments. "We are in the orbit of Alc. A jungle like planet. I just got done scanning it... and it seems there is life on it so it must have a breathable atmosphere." he answered. That's when he took off his hood. It wasn't necessary to wear it right now, maybe later. "I honestly don't know. However we do have a translator in case the language isn't galactic basic... can I help you feel comfortable with anything? I know we barely know each other but I have a relaxing room with drinks and food if you would like to occupy it." he said concerned.

"Hmm. . .well, what do you have to drink there?" She has asked him, and then gazes out the window while thinking about what will or might happen here. She nods at his answers, respecting them, and then would bluntly state. "And if they are violent, we'll just kill them right? I mean they could be Savages. . .who eat people, uncivilized nations who don't deserve to live. . ."

Pyrrhus stood outside the cockpit's heavy sliding door. He leaned against the wall of a long corridor, exactly across from the door. His long barreled rifle leaned on his side, with the butt of the blaster on the ground, it still stood to Pyrrhus' neck, and with the plasma bayonet attached to it, it was taller than him. He watched the door, silent and unmoving as a statue. This job would be easy. No fighting, no wars, why was He so tense?

"I have many bottles of Daro root beer and a bunch of wine. The wine has other flavours than the original if you like it flavoured." he said while analyzing the planet still. Her question made him wonder if she has killed someone before. "Killing them might pose us as a threat. However, we aren't Jedi monks so we don't take anything from them either. Be calm about putting them to rest if you have to fight. I've learned keeping my weapons away helps the situation most of the time though." he explained.

"Are you sure giving a child wine is appropriate?" She would calmly state, then would go to stand up, her face looks rather. . .irritated. "Maybe we should discuss this there and not here?" Sarah would press the button to open up the cockpit doors, clearly wondering if he'll join or or not.

"Because what if they deem hostile first? Then its a course of self defence."

He smiled again at another question she asked. "No ones watching." he teased standing up and following her. "Wherever is comfortable." Being comfortable probably wasn't the easiest thing to do when you were above a jungle world where giant worms or giant spiders probably lived. "Right, but self defense doesn't mean killing is the solution. If they say to surrender or drop your weapons, play their game until you know you got the higher ground. Something my academy teachers taught me. Figured I'd need it one of these days."

"Huh." She remained at the opened door. "WEll, I guess I'll drink some wine then." After hearing his view point on the matter, she just looked down, and looked to the side, as if trying to think of something else to say to him. "I guess we were both taught different things. Did Alex tell you where she found me at?"

She left the cockpit at that point, going to find the room he motioned. Perhaps having a drink would ease her mind of flying, for it did feel foreign to her.

He chuckled when she said she would drink. "Yeah, I suppose. No, but I'd be happy to know." he said stopping but following her again. He would nod at the messenger/translator/guard as a way of saying hi as they walked to the room. The ship had many rooms but you could tell which one was for relaxing. It has red colored carpet with maroon colored furniture that was very modern. A medium sized bar stretched across one side of the wall despite the size of the room.

She had almost forgotten about the third crewmen. Though, she simply just shrugged and continued onto finding the relaxation room. Sarah noticed the red carpet, and went towards it and opened the door leading to that room. ". . .Korriban. . .In some ruins. . ." She softly would state.

[member="Sarah Mist"] [member="Pyrrhus"]

Korriban? That was one place where the dark side consumed everything. Maybe that's too exaggerated but if yo walk in a sith graveyard, you'll see. He would think about how she found her and walk in. "There's drinks in the conservator by the bar. Would you like the door closed?" he asked trying to comfort her.

She listened to what he stated, and went over to where the drinks were at. "No. Its not like we're doing anything wrong or inapprioperate in here." She wonders if he wants to pursue anymore memories. She takes out one of the bottles of wine, and goes to open it.

[member="Sarah Mist"] [member="Pyrrhus"]

He nodded to her response and watched her as he stood and probably would the whole time. "Korriban, what were you doing there? That place is like a cursed seed." he asked.

She sighed softly. "Do you really want to know?" She sounds rather agitated by his question. Korriban was the only really home she knew. She went to put the Wine on the counter, going to find two glasses, assuming he wanted some. "I'll say it anyway. The Sith is the only family I know. I was practically raised there."

She found some glasses and went to pour both of them a drink.

Pyrrhus, moving away from the cockpit, started towards the recreational area. He walked along the corridor, making only the slightest sound as he opened the sliding door of the room. "Sir," He said, looking at.. Well, Pyrrhus really didn't know his name. Turning to the one he had heard called Sarah "Ma'am." He said, bowing his head a bit to each of them. Setting his rifle against the wall, he leaned up next to it.

She turned her head to the newest member in the room, and nodded her head. "Uhm, Hi. Would you want a glass of wine? ..." Sarah stated, reaching out for a third glass.

He did want to know. Knowledge was everything to him, except things that are better unsaid. "Sith are lovely people, but grumpy ones tend to get on my bad side." he said before someone walked in. He would shake his head to decline the offer of wine. "Hey. You wanna talk over a plan?" he asked Pyrrhus.
