A Moment Of Reflection

Song Estate, some miles north of Voss-Ka

It was mid-afternoon along the southern-most run of the Vossean Alps, that shielded the steppes below from northern winds. At the foot of the great beasts of stone, nestled between rock and wood, rested the old family home of the Songs; a wide, open estate that boasted wealth, extravagance and, above all, tradition. Its ancient architectural designs resembled that of older Jedi and precursor civilisations, striking and beautiful in construction. A mile or so to the west of the estate stood a brand new complex that could be seen in the distance, rivalling its older sibling in size and style; the owner's newest endeavour and attempt to share his unique path of peace with others.

In the heart of the Song Estate, alone and silent in his own meditation, Auron pondered the memories of the inner courtyard within which he sat. Many encounters had been observed and committed within these four walls. It had housed many meetings, many conflicts. It was here, Auron had watched his mother break down at the news of his father's disappearance. It was here, he had cursed his sister for leaving the family during dire times. And it was here he had hosted a once-renowned Jedi Master, now long lost. Now, he returned to the courtyard a stronger man, and it was his honour to host his newest teacher within it.

Thus he waited, deep in meditation.
"Iris?" he called out softly to the quiet steps from around the corner. An elderly woman peered her head into the courtyard.
"Yes, Master Auron?" Her voice was warm, motherly, like it always had been. In times of woe upon the family, Iris had always been there for Auron when his mother was unable to be.
"Please prepare a pot of tea, if you will. I believe Master DragonsFlame shall arrive before long."
"Of course."
"And when you finish, take the rest of the day off." Iris bowed her head.
"Yes, Master Auron. Thank you." She a offered a simple smile and trotted along towards the kitchens. Auron breathed deeply.

Josh was surprised to hear that one of his newer Padawans owned an estate, and was more surprised to hear that he had been invited as a guest for a visit. Not wanting to be rude, the Jedi Master would accept, and schedule some time to pay one of his newer apprentices a visit at their request. Not that he minded, of course. It was a good chance to get to know his students outside of the working environment, which in the end, was better for their training. The Jedi needed to know they were human beings, people, not just weapons or nomads or monks, that had no emotions or feelings.

The Sasori Defender ship, classified "The Final Dragon", would land at the nearest landing pad to the estate, and the ramp would come down as the Jedi Master would walk down it, flanked by an R4 unit and HK unit, both coated in the blue color scheme that seemed to identify the droids under the Dragon banner.

Some Jedi Orders might think that having a home like this would count as belongings and should be handed over to the Jedi as a base... The Silvers did not think this, and neither did Josh. Josh himself had a home he called his own, after all, for his family. Josh had forgone Jedi Robes for this social occasion, though, wearing a black leather jacket and blue shirt, with black pants that looked quite lightweight. His lightsaber still hung from his belt, of course, as he made his way toward the Song Estate.
