A More Fulfilling Career

Not all Jedi were considered good by everyone? That was a weird concept to think of. The only people that she knew to dislike them were people who did things opposite of them. But that made sense. But she was used to being disliked, so when that came to be, it wouldn't bug Aleya at all. Meditation was her goal. First, Aleya sat across from Matsu, as she was sitting in a meditation-looking pose. Well, that's what the young woman thought it was. "Okay, so. What exactly am I doing?"

Looking with a nod of her head at the girl while she had a small nod of her head. "We are going to feel the force, the first step is focusing the mind and the energies within you. You must feel it in your body, push it outwards into your limbs." She motioned to the area in front of herself and motioned for her to sit mimicing her position. "The force is in everything, it binds the galaxy together and we can take it into ourselves. In the air we breathe into our lungs to go throughout the body and the muscles. That is the first step and then you will want to keep it until your breathing is steady and focused. Until you cna feel the force as it enters and leaves your body."

"Well, I can give it a shot." Aleya felt out mentally to feel the Force. She has been able to do this more or less for a while. It was infrequent and it didn't do a whole lot for her. She tried to clear her mind and sharpen her focus, feeling. At first she didn't feel anything. She took a deep breath in frustration. As soon as she did that, she felt a pull, a tug. She latched onto it feeding into it. It felt good, made her happy. It grew stronger, filling her body. Her mind focused, and everything looked clearer than ever. "I feel it," she said softly. Random emotions flowed through her, her body on fire with feeling. It was magical.

Matsu was feeling the padawan, the sensation of the force on the girl while slowly she let her eyes close and senses expand outwards to really understand what she was going through here and there for a moment. It wasn't a lot but she was trying and then she seemed to find something deep down that the jedi master raised an eyebrow. Any emotion was dangerous if misused and when misused in the right way it could be explaited into something that corrupted and destroyed you slowly from the inside. Matsu bowed her head a little though as the girl was doing as she asked and for a first attempt she couldn't expect perfection she needed to expect well... that she would be able to latch onto what was there.

With great care, she slowly let the Force leave her body. Just when it was almost all out she began gathering it again, letting it soak back up into every fiber of her muscle, again. She repeated this over and over, her control over it gaining each time. With a strong exhale, she let it all go out of her, returning her body to normal. "Well I think that was relatively simple. With practice I will have it down pretty well," Aleya said. Then with a bit of impatience she added "What's next?"

She was listening to her as well it was a tricky thing. Moving forward and moving in a way that would go quickly was not the way to do things as she spoke. "What is next is building off of that lesson. We could rush through training but you would run the risk of falling to the darkside because of frustration and using darker, easier emotions." She had some of the attention on the things while holding her hands out to show the force as it came in white whisps of force energy between her hands and the jedi master stayed for a moment. "The next step is to manifest it between your hands in a way you will be able to reabsorb it into your body."

Falling to the dark side. She hoped she would never. She didn't think she was an evil person. A loner and distant maybe. Stubborn, yes. But Aleya didn't think any of those qualities would make her bad. She sighed inwardly. She had to focus on communicating more with the Force, not with her feelings. It would take patience and focus, but she would put her effort into it. "How do I do that? How do I make the Force become visible? I thought it was a completely invisible thing."

She was looking at her and it was a hard thing to explain how best to really well generate the energies of the force. You need to really focus and feeling the small threads of the force that connected all living things. "It is usually, you must work at it to generate the force energies around you. it starts with clearing you mind and focusing to feel the threads of the force that connect all living things. Sit and relax, allow your body to feel the force and then look towards it as you focus deeper and deeper. Allowing your mind to drift and become one with the force instead of just making it happen. Once you can feel and generate the force it will become easier to use it with other techniques."

This time when Aleya sat and began to attempt to focus, the Force drew near to hear easier than before. Her mind remained clear. She calmed all the emotions within her, letting the Force set it's way through her body. Once she had collected its energies, she attempted to push it, to bend it to her will. She moved it to her hands. It was difficult and it took her a few minutes, gently attempting to guide the Force through her body. Little by little, it all moved down to her palms and fingers. It began to get concentrated, like packing flour into a cup. Finally, small, faint white whisps of light began to form. They grew stronger in visibility. They were there and moving. But sporadic. Twitching sometimes. With practice, that would go. "Well hey, I did it."

Matsu watched it while she had a grin on her face with some of the feelings. She could sense the energies as the girl was starting to generate it pulling a great many things forward. Watching it though for a moment or two with a smile tugging at the edges of her lips when she slowly started to absorb the force energies back into her hands. Generation was a skill many she knew overlooked despite its value for learning and being able to connect with a world. You could find a lot of the things out about a world if you go well until her force energies were for a moment brighter with the living force from the planet. The padawan doing much the same and with the right levels of practice she would be able to manifest it getting some words. "Very good now hold it for a moment and use the force to levitate the loose things around us."

Aleya concentrated the Force just a bit more before allowing it to drift to various things around them. The movement of the whisps were still sporadic at times, but for the most part they were under control. They curled themselves underneath the objects, cardling them like small babies. Aleya focused on each whisp, willing the Force to lift them up. They didn't respond, a few of them shuttered a little bit. Aleya closed her eyes, feeling for the Force. When her eyes closed she felt peaceful. This did the trick. The whisps reacted and slowly but surely lifted each small object up.

Matsu bowed her head with a nod at the padawans work while she remained there with some of the things. Slowly absorbing her energy back into herself before she started speaking. "Very good, generating the force when you can do it will allow you to have an idea of what you need to do to use it. Pushing, pull, expanding your senses out to feel others around you. Predicting the future with small moments before something happens or even just enhancing your body. All can stem from learning how to channel and generate. Now I want you to with the force start reaching out and moving some of the loose objects you can work with."

Aleya went through the same process as before. She breathed in the Force, building it in her body. It came quick this time. She focused it all to her hands. The Force manifested itself again, moving more evenly than before. With a push, she shot the Force to anything around her. Small little rocks and containers began to shake and move. She pushed harder and harder, willing them to lift. They moved upward, slowly, rising toward the ceiling. As a test, Aleya willed them to spin and rotate. It took added effort on her part as she exerted her limited strength in the Force. When she got it to happen, she decided she'd had enough. Slowly, she settles them back where they were. With a gasp she let out her inner pressure. "Whew. That was hard."

She could see and feel it while looking at the different things shifting as the padawan expanded with the force energies. Slowly letting herself expand out to feel the force energies giving a nod of her head. "Very good." The girl had done well and for a first time she would and should be tired as Matsu rose up from where she was looking at some of the things. "Rest a little and we shall be able to work with some of the things." She moved over to look at sections of everything they had opening one of the crates the padawan had shifted revealing the force light blaster for the jedi to be able to use. Well the paladins within the jedi order. They liked blasters and other weapons so she knew how to make them some nice things. "When you are ready we can work with some of the things here."

"We could have some fun with those, yes," she smiled. "I will retire to my room for the night. I need some sleep. Lots of it actually," her smile waned wearily as she turned and made her way to her room. An interesting turn of events transpired this evening. It was a lot to process. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she was out.

The next morning, Aleya woke, refreshed and awake. She straightened her hair out and cleaned and put her makeup back on fresh. She made her way back to the room she was in last night, ready to train again. She felt much better about what she was doing now. Much happier with where her life was going. She smiled as she walked in.

Matsu gave a nod of her head to that, letting the girl retire while she worked on many of the things. Removing some of the blasters while the jedi master was working on it. The special weave that was put into it was a great they they could work with. The force light from the crystals could be charged while the weave could be used to house the better augmentations of the jedi master. She was focusing on the imbuing the different parts to allow the shot to ionize the air and where it impacts if it strikes droids or electrical systems. The force light would work against darksiders, the ionization working on droids and a stunning effect that she was going to work to build into it for organics so that it could be a multifunctional blaster the jedi would want to use. As Matsu worked on it she remained there throughout the night until the padawan arrived again and was surprised she had not fallen asleep. "Good morning."

"Good morning," she said cheerfully. She wandered through the equipment, making her way to Matsu. She plopped down in front of her and looked at the parts she was messing with. "What are we going to be doing today?" she wondered aloud. Last night seemed like pretty elementary things. She wanted to start working on things that would be of practical use. That said, she understood the necessity of the basics. She would have to practice with them constantly.

Hmm what were they going to be doing today, oh there was going to be some fun that they could work with while she was working the blaster. letting the force energies dance around with it before turning her full attention to her padawan. "We are going to practice a skill that many jedi neglect or never try to learn. How to make mundane objects into something stronger and able to protect with it." it was also something good to teach a padawan early on and they could work with it here using the blasters as they were one of the better force teaching tools. "These blasters were made for jedi who have been trained, instinctive and designed to fire the force in a focused burst of force light. They will harm darksiders but leave a lightsider alone."
