A New Beginning (Chaca, SiRiDio, PM to join)

Chaca had been happy to see SiRiDio, especially with his timing. The small boy had nearly gotten himself into some trouble, just in time for SiRiDio to step in and help him out

It seemed that very commonly was the case. But could Chaca help SiRiDio? He seemed to resonate a dark side energy, much more than he had before. Somehow, being close to him, Chaca could simply feel it.

Once the conflict had ended, Chaca lead his friend back to an abandonned building that Chaca had taken shelter in. Climbing over debris and walking through a few rotted doorways, Chaca would lead SiRiDio back to his humble living space - assuming SiRiDio would follow

Within the small room within the building where Chaca lived, the space was actually fairly quaint and comfortable - a stark contrast to the rest of the building that surrounded his home

Within the walls of his room small random decorations hung on the walls - things Chaca had collected through his wanderings. A few chairs and furniture pieces had been set in place, as well as a large stack of soft furs in the corner of the room. One would likely guess that to be where Chaca slept

"SiRiDio, I'm so glad you found me. But...something seems kind of...different about you"

He offered,hoping his friend would open up. Chaca could sense the power of the dark side when he was near SiRiDio, so he knew that the balance within his companion was off

Chaca was quite a neutral entity. Even if SiRiDio had gone to the dark side once more, strangely enough Chaca would still aly with him

The Zabrak had run into this boy before in the past, for some reason the force wanted them to meet more, it was true the Zabrak was amped with the Darkside more than he ever had been. The last time the two met SiRiDio was on a better path, but as fate would have it the Zabrak drew upon the Darkside to feed his strength in his mission to hunt Sith.

The Zabrak followed the boy through the broke down building stepping over debris, SiRiDio was quite tall for a Zabrak so he had hard times walking through normal sized doors and cramp places but he was used to it, finally, they reached where he had been staying which looked better than the rest of the building.

" Yea, ... I've had a rough couple months " The Zabrak would open up he knew the boy intended him no harm, although he was still unsure if he knew about the force since SiRiDio does not sense a deep connection with the force in the boy although the force seemed distorted, he could be blocking the Zabrak or maybe he just wasn't force sensitive time would tell.

Chaca gently nodded in understanding as his Zabrak companion confirmed what he had suspected. The small ivory boy moved about the room, gently lighting a few candles around the room to illuminate the area better. The sounds outside were mostly drowned out within the building, the small space surprisingly peaceful and useful for meditation - something Chaca did often

"Your energy feels... Conflicted. It feels like part of you is pulled one way, the other part pulled the opposite direction"

The boy said softly, making observations about what he felt in the Zabrak's presence. The small lithe cathar circled around SiRiDio, not seeming to be intimidated by the much larger male's size. Chaca had developed a trust for SiRiDio.

"What have you experienced, that so strongly affected your energy?"

Either Chaca couldn't feel it, or he was unconcerned by it - but a strong dark side presence emanated from directly below the building. The dark side energy was thick, and felt like it was radiating in intensity, somewhere around 20 feet below them

The Zabrak listened as the boy talked and walked around the room doing things, SiRiDio was not someone who loved to just slaughter people for no reason, he did in the past but he was manipulated into being a weapon for the Sith. He recently learned his father who was a powerful Sith was killed by the Sith who blamed the Jedi so SiRiDio would become an assassin and so they could manipulate him.

" My father was killed by Sith, so was my mother who originally blamed the Jedi, I learned otherwise "

The Zabrak sat down against the wall his anger was starting to grow while talking about it, he wasn't gonna harm Chaca, but he was looking to fight but he could manage these feelings.

Chaca listened to the Zabrak as he finally spoke, revealing part of his past that the boy hasn't been aware of.

The small young Cathar looked to SiRiDio as the Zabrak sat down against the wall, pondering for a moment. A saddened expression came to Chacas face as he slowly nodded

"I...I don't remember my parents. At all. What do you remember of yours?"

He asked gently, turning to approach the Zabrak now that the room was fairly well lit. Chaca slowly knelt down in front of SiRiDio, cocking his head to the side a little as he looked at his friend.

"How did you discover the truth about them?"

Chaca asked gently, looking up at the larger male

The Zabrak looked down at his feet, he remembered the day he came home to find his mother dead, his father had died earlier that week. The Sith then picked SiRiDio up telling him the Jedi had killed his family but unknown to him it was a lie. After a decade or two, the Zabrak's training had advanced his lightsaber skills was unmatched by any Padawan or Jedi Knight. Only groups of Knights or Jedi Masters could engage him, his force powers were behind and not potent yet, his power had not yet grown.

He hunted several Jedi for the Sith trying to get revenge he killed somewhere near 40 Jedi most Padawans and Knight but he had a few Masters under his belt as well. After a very challenging duel, SiRiDio killed his Sith master using his superior speed to overwhelm his master, the duel lasted nearly twenty minutes. After his master tired he was no longer able to keep up with the fast and agile Zabrak, leaving the ship the Sith made his way to Korriban where he would inform the Sith council and he would be paired with another more powerful Sith Master.

" I found the hologram message ordering my father to be killed by other Sith I killed all Sith onboard but they were all Apprentices, when I returned to my home I found my mother was killed "

" I've been traveling ever since "

Chaca watched as SiRiDio began to recall his past, and something inside told Chaca that it was a hard thing for him to think about. Chaca felt a similar emptiness within, though whereas SiRiDio lost his parents to violence, Chaca had lost the memory of his parents all together

Crawling a little closer, he knelt at SiRiDio's feet, looking up at him as the zabrak remembered his past

"You faced so much violence, betrayal, anger..."

The small cathar said gently, almost able to swear he could feel the loss within, understanding the way his friend felt. The closer Chaca sat, the more he seemed to receive SiRiDio.

"Have you ever felt happiness? When was the last time you experienced passion that felt good... Not a passion for killing?"

Chaca slowly reached out, one small hand making connection SiRiDio's hand. He did this intentionally, to try to bring SiRiDio a feeling of independence from the force... A temporary feeling of the force being gone. The regrets of the light side, and the anger and pain of the dark side.

"What do you want, for you? There is no happiness in revenge. We need to find a way to bring you...peace"

Feeling separate from the force was jarring and scary for some, to the point that they would attack Chaca. The small cathar seemed to feel secure in the zabrak's company, enough to risk a physical touch. Perhaps a disconnect from the force, for even a matter of moments, may help SiRiDio find direction

[member="SiRiDio"]

The Zabrak had never felt any kind of peace or happiness except for revenge, at this point in his life he was to set in his ways, the Sith had driven the light side from him. SiRiDio himself had a biased view of the force, the Darkside gave him the strength to survive and gain revenge, he had been doing it so long redemption was a long shot.

" Happiness... no, and I don't kill civilians, only Sith or other force users who get in my way "

The Zabrak felt the sudden change when the Cathar touched him, it stunned him for a brief moment but he would not react, his offer to find peace went through one ear and out the next, peace was a lie. No matter how one convinced themselves otherwise peace is not how nature works.

" I don't need peace, I'm the way I'm meant to be "

[member="Chaca"]

Chaca shook his head, he could see the pain and hatred that the Sith had created in SiRiDio. He remained close, and spoke as though on some level he could actually understand. In a strange way, he could

"You aren't their slave anymore. You dont have to kill because of them. If you kill, if you destroy... Let it be for reasons you decide are important."

Strangely it didn't seem like Chaca was trying to change SiRiDio's nature, his way of using the force to destroy others he deemed a threat. Instead, it seemed Chaca was trying to free the zabrak of his past...of the thing that controlled and forced him down a path that seemed to trouble him

"Do you feel an excitement when you defeat an enemy that deserved it?"

The small cathar asked gently, smiling a little.

[member="SiRiDio"]

SiRiDio had been doing for his reasons, his parents were killed by Sith and the actual killer was never found, so the Zabrak continues his quest until one day it either kills him as it did his family or succeeds and avenges his family.

" The destruction of the Sith is important to me " his tone was harder and serious but not threatening.

The Zabrak knew the answer but he didn't want to accept it, he did feel excitement when killing Sith, but killing Jedi and civilians like he used to never really gave him any personal joy. But at the same time, they stood in the way of his goals so they had to be moved.

" Only Sith "

[member="Chaca"]

Chaca nodded. It seemed he wasn't surprised at all by the response. But at the same time, he didn't seem to judge at all. He knew that SiRiDio had been molded by his experiences, just as Chaca had. He couldn't blame SiRiDio for his nature any more than he could blame himself for doing what he had to in order to survive

"You do what you know, you follow your path in the force based on what you experienced"

The small cathar said softly, as though reflecting to himself, always trying to gain an understanding of his existence and the universe around him. Chaca pondered how his experiences might have shaped his own path. His slightly glowing sapphire eyes slowly looked up, a soft smile on his lips as he reflected, revealing a bit of his own experiences

"I was a slave once too.. I belonged to the arena. I wasn't a fighter though... Kinda more of a prize"

He shook his head gently

"For some of the fighters, intimacy was the ultimate reward for winning."

He said, looking down again as he recollected some of his experiences. He paused, and softly asked, curiosity overtaking him

"Have you ever experienced intimacy?"

He asked, his ears folding down somewhat timidly. Could someone molded into such a killing machine also understand the opposite end of the spectrum?

[member="SiRiDio"]

It was true, SiRiDio had only experienced the very dark aspects of life he never had any kind of friendships nor did he ever experience love besides the small amount of family that was taken from him at an early age. Those early experiences laid the foundation for who he was gonna become, the Sith sealed his fate.

" No " his tone was cold and had zero give

In SiRiDio's mind, love and affection are for light side users they are a trap, one who fully commits to the Darkside may never date or have a family, these emotions make you vulnerable. Plus, who would want to date someone who has no good left within them, it was far too late for the Zabrak to gain any type of happy ending.

This did not mean SiRiDio was a mindless killer anymore, but he could never be untainted that blood will forever remain with him, his bad choices were not made because he liked it moreover to survive.

[member="Chaca"]

Chaca's smile fell a little, the single word telling more about SiRiDio than one would ever think. He could tell that the zabrak had never felt a tender embrace or a loving touch. It saddened Chaca to come to such an understanding

"You are more than just the dark. I've seen the power of light within you as well. You are stronger than the pull of either side"

He said softly with a smile returning to him, a flick of his tail as he crawled a little closer. His hand was still touching SiRiDio's. Through touch, Chaca could feel more. With physical contact, Chaca felt the force between them, and could often feel the energies of light and dark

"Long ago you allowed the dark side energy to grow within you. But you aren't a being of dark alone, the light side of the force is strong with you too. I want to help you learn to connect to it as well"

He offered, the small cathar giving a moment for SiRiDio to ponder what he had said. Chaca could feel the power of the grey force in SiRiDio, and longed to help his friend tap into the infinite power therein. Both the light and the dark could be so very consuming, it took a certain level of talent to be able to walk the line between them. Chaca saw this talent in SiRiDio

Chaca looked up at SiRiDio, scanning the larger male's eyes, trying to understand more deeply what was felt. A certain hopeless sensation washed over him, and he began to understand - how could someone want to care about and show affection to such a powerful darkside user? How could one trust that dark sider enough to ever take such a chance?

It was clear now why SiRiDio didn't know love, and didn't know intimacy. How could he?

Chaca thought about things for a moment, looking down as he reflected on what he had learned. Coming to a smile once more, Chaca now gently began to crawl forward.

His small ivory form slowly moved over SiRiDio, straddling the Zabrac's legs with his own, his soft light ivory body gently sitting in SiRiDio's lap. Chaca wasnt a threat to the Zabrak - after all, SiRiDio could so very easily overpower Chaca. But it took a bit of trust for Chaca to move in so close - an act of trust that was afforded to dark side users so very rarely in the universe

Leaning in, the small cathar would softly wrap his arms around the other in a soft embrace, the heat of his small light body pressing warmly against the Zabrak.

Chaca wasn't strong, SiRiDio could push him off fairly easily, but the small cathar hoped that the Zabrak would allow him to share in this bit of tenderness.

The Zabrak didn't understand why it everyone kept pushing him towards the light, he was starting to become annoyed that no one would listen to him, he already had a plan to enact revenge on the Sith. Everybody kept trying to stop SiRiDio from his mission he would not let them, the Cathar touched his hand he could no longer feel the force which started to scare him.

" I do not require the light side, my goal is to dominate the Sith not bound myself to useless chains "

The anger within SiRiDio started to grow he had control of it, then the situation took a turn, the Zabrak shot up to his feet his natural instinct told him to lash out but he did not feel the need. But he did feel that his trust had been violated, although he knew what kissing was he had no interest to do, he had no time or reason for anything other than platonic relationships.

" These types of games make me annoyed, it's best we move on to another subject "

SiRiDio did not want to scare the Cathar but he needed to get the point across that he was not going to change if he did he would break his promise and he would die before that ever happens.

[member="Chaca"]

Chaca tumbled backward as SiRiDio stood up suddenly, and the small cathar looked up in surprise, realizing that he had annoyed and even upset SiRiDio

Chaca had been so very accustomed to the arena fighters treating him like some sort of prize, it stunned him to be pushed away. He looked down, obviously embarrassed with himself

"I just didn't know if you would like it...if you never tried"

He said as he rubbed the back of his neck a little. His tail slapped against the floor a bit as he crawled back to lean against the wall on the other side of the room. He certainly didn't want to intrude on the Zabrak again

"There is a Sith base...down there... I thought you might be interested in. I found a way in. Been stealing a little here and there out of their supplies"

Chaca said, pointing down, below to an underground Sith base. The dark side could be felt emanating from it

"I can show you how I get in..."

[member="SiRiDio"]

The Zabrak's glanced away for a second looking around his was still shocked, no one ever dared to touch him so any physical interactions instantly set SiRiDio off. He regained his composure he turned back looking as the Cathar explained the Sith base, his eyes were lit up he could feel the Darkside coming from the basement now that he had distance from the Cathar and his force senses came back to him.

" Are there Sith, or is it abandoned "

He knew what he wanted to hear, this was a perfect time him reliving his past had relit his desire to fight, it was where he felt most complete. If there were Sith down there his week had just turned from bad to good.

" Ok show me, Will I be able to fit? "

[member="Chaca"]

The last question actually made Chaca snicker a little and shake his head as he thought about SiRiDio trying to squeeze through the air duct

"No, you won't fit. But the bay door I have access to opens automatically if you approach it from inside. I can get in and open it for you."

Chaca had seen workers exit the door fairly often, it seemed that a security check is only run when opening the door from the outside.

Chaca pondered the Sith base, picking through what he had learned about the base, trying to determine what information might be useful to the task at hand

"There are Sith in there, but I don't think they are overly well supplied. This was some sort of mining facility that has dried up for the most part. It still has some crew though, and some Sith fighters."

Chaca seemed fairly eager to tell his companion what he knew. After all, the more SiRiDio knew going into this, the more likely they were to make it out alive and cause some serious damage to a Sith outpost

[member="SiRiDio"]

For the Zabrak it would work the same as long as he gets inside, the facility was weird the location was a very odd choice but then again the Sith never like to be in the spotlight.

" It can't be a mere mining facility only with the presence of the Darkside that it had, there is either somewhat powerful Sith inside or some shrine where a ritual had happened "

The more likely of the two was multiple Sith but this situation needs caution, he knew nothing about them or how powerful they were and rushing head first into a coalition of Sith would not be fun. Then again he was looking for a fight, but he never let his emotion control him into a making a mistake.

" Ok then let's proceed "

[member="Chaca"]

The Zabrak was indeed correct - though Chaca could not necessarily sense it himself, there was a strong dark side presence below them. It was strange for such a strong presence to be in such a remote and relatively unimportant Sith outpost

Chaca nodded, realizing that SiRiDio must be correct. It made a lot of sense once the small cathar reflected on what he had seen

"The mining stopped here a long time ago, so I'm not sure why the base is even still in use. You must be right, its something other than just mining..."

Chaca nodded as SiRiDio asked him to lead the way to the entrance. The felinesque creature was swift and agile, and partially ran on all fours now and then to bound over obstacles or debris. Moving through the abandoned warehouse, they would come to a caved-in area of the floor, that lead into an old mineshaft below

Leaping down, Chaca found himself in a mineshaft, a fairly spacious tunnel leading in several directions. Chaca's sapphire eyes would glow in the dark like a cat's as he looked to SiRiDio, keeping at a whisper

"Its this way. We should keep stealthy until we get inside "

He suggested, and moved up the tunnel. A force user could find advantage in following Chaca through the dark as long as they remained close, as he felt like a continuous gap in the force.

Reaching an old Sith bay door, Chaca remained close to the wall and about 25 feet back from it. Chaca looked up at SiRiDio and pointed at the door

"I can squeeze into the air ducts and open that. Or you can lightsaber through it. Once we get in and are found out, they will probably seal it off from letting us out. "

Chaca seemed surprisingly willing as he spoke of the risks, knowing that the Sith were oppressing and killing innocents in this region. This base had to be destroyed, or at least the occupants run out

[member="SiRiDio"]

" Yea I prefer stealth until in attacking range " The Zabrak's voice was barely loud enough for the Cathar to hear so they would not alert anyone.

The Zabrak could hide his native force signature to fool other Darksiders he had been doing it for a while, and in his experiences getting close to the Cathar would also numb SiRiDio's ability to sense the enemy so, for now, he would stand several feet away.

" You slip through and open it cutting through would take time and alert them, just be careful Sith are very sneaky "

The Zabrak did not like the idea of the Cathar being at risk, but if the Cathar wanted to help then the Zabrak did not mind once they get the door open SiRiDio will be able to protect him.
