A New Beginning (Chaca, SiRiDio, PM to join)

Chaca nodded in relief. He was glad SiRiDio preferred stealth to a frontal assault. Chaca wasn't much of a fighter, he tended to evade and confuse enemkes more than engage them directly. But there was something about this Sith base. Something darker and more sinister than the balance of this place could allow

"I'll be right back."

Chaca said after nodding to SiRiDio. Though Chaca knew little bits of information from studying and infiltrating this base, SiRiDio was in charge as far as the small cathar was concerned. The Zabrak would certainly be more experienced in these sort of situations.

Chaca leapt up onto a small outcropping on the cave wall, moving with surprising speed and agility. He was light and swift, and actually made scaling the wall look fairly easy as he leapt and grabbed, climbing his way to a dark corner where the base meets rock, high above the set of doors.

Disappearing into the shadows, Chaca's eyes would scan in the dark as he moved and climbed through the tight rock crevice. Within the gap was a broken air duct, leading into the Sith base. Squeezing through the break, the small cathar was soon inside the air ducts and crawling as silently as he could back toward the cave-exit door.

Coming to the room with the door, Chaca scanned the room with his slightly glowing eyes, seeing that the room was clear. They didn't send many workers through these doors in Chaca's experience, so he expected it would likely be empty

Unhinging the grate, Chaca slipped into the room, and reset the ventilation grate where it had been, leaving no hint that he had come through there. Leaping down a few large containers, Chaca made his way to the floor, approaching the door. The door made a few beep sounds, acknowledging that it had been approached from the inside. With a large hiss sound the door released its locks, and proceeded to part, each side pulling open to reveal the small cathar standing on the other side. He grinned a little

"Ta-da!"

He said playfully with a snicker. His tail lashed as he pointed up the hallway.

"I've only explored a little bit this way. There is a supply room nearby I've been taking little things from here and there"

In the control center a few levels up, a com panel begins to flash, alerting a few of the workers.

"Sir, we're getting indications of mine bay door 5 opening. It has to be one of ours because it opened from the inside, but I'm not showing any crews down there on the schedule today"

The communications cadet reported to a lieutenant standing nearby.

The Zabrak nodded as the Cathar made his way up the wall to the crevice, in a few moments he was gone, the Cathar was impossible for SiRiDio to track through his force signature but the Zabrak believed he would be alright and make his way back here without being caught he said he had done it before giving him an escape route.

After what seemed like a few very long moments he heard some beeps and the door began to open, the Cathar had done it although it made more noise than the Zabrak wanted there was no other way to get in.

" Now this is where the fun begins " his voice sounded cold and calculated.

" If you would like you could take more of their supplies while I head deeper inside if you rather follow me, that is fine too just be careful, I don't know this place at all "

The Zabrak began to walk inside he followed the left hallway which seemed to have more Darkside energy than the other side of the base which probably has more resources, but that was not why SiRiDio was here of course. He came upon another split in the hallway this time he followed the right side, as he turned the corner a worker had been running to investigate the random opening of bay door 5.

The Zabrak quickly swept the legs out from underneath the man, he didn't appear to be force sensitive reaching out the Zabrak used Force Stasis to hold him in place. It did not hurt but at the same time SiRiDio could not have him running back to the commander and asking for reinforcements, instead, the Zabrak quickly knocked the worker unconscious. He continued deeper into the base, he was able to find a clear route and sneak past most of the major hotspots so he would not be seen.

Out of nowhere, SiRiDio would feel nothing but cold, and out of nowhere a group of security let loose their blasters on the Zabrak who would pull his lightsaber out igniting only one end. He deflected the bolts away from him and the Cathar if he had followed, some of the bolts would fly back and hit the shooters, the Zabrak shot forward cutting the blasters in half and letting out a force push that flung them into a nearby wall knocking them out. The danger was not over just as the Zabrak lowered his blade two cloaked figures stepped out, one was an apprentice and another was the master although SiRiDio didn't know which was which yet he had a slight feeling since one was obviously more powerful than the other.

Chaca nodded in understanding as SiRiDio gave him the option of following or going off on his own for supplies.

"I wanna stay with you."

Chaca said, making his own intentions known. SiRiDio proceeded, with Chaca behind him. The small cathar let SiRiDio pretty much lead the way. Already they were further into the base than he was familiar with, and being that SiRiDio could actually feel the mysterious dark side presence it made more sense to simply follow him.

Chaca froze and stopped as he saw the worker who had been sent to investigate. He looked up at SiRiDio, not fully knowing what to expect. He did nothing to interfere, but found himself infinitely grateful that SiRiDio had been merciful against the basic worker. Truthfully it would have likely been easier to kill the hapless man and silence him, but it wasnt the right thing to do, and it made Chaca smile a little to see that SiRiDio knew this and spared the worker. The Sith of the base were one thing - killers and assassins who oppress the people of the area... But these simple workers were just here to make an honest wage.

Once SiRiDio had knocked the worker out, Chaca crept over to the fallen man. Chaca had the same concerns, he didnt want the worker harmed but couldn't allow him to run off and tell his superiors.

Nearby, chaca recognised one of the basic storage rooms by its basic no-security door.

Dragging the unconscious worker toward the room, Chaca would drag his body into the room and tie him up with a few rags from the supply shelf. He would assumably be found and released safely by the other workers once Chaca and SiRiDio were long gone.

Leaving the supply room where he had left the unconscious worker, Chaca suddenly squeaked in surprise as blaster fire erupted. The small cathar boy was quick, diving around a corner for cover as blaster fire ricochet off the walls nearby.

Chaca remained fairly close after his friend had cut down the attacking Sith soldiers. The next two though seemed much more menacing, and caused Chaca to comment just loud enough for SiRiDio to hear

"I think they might be more than just Soldiers"

Chaca said, though it was likely SiRiDio already knew this, from his connection to the force. Crouching down behind SiRiDio, Chaca picked up one of the blasters that the defeated soldiers had dropped. The two Sith seemed hesitant, and strangely enough it was more because of Chaca. Why couldn't they feel him within the force? What sort of trickery is this?

After picking up the blaster, he didn't fire at the Sith assasin and his apprentice. He knew they would likely just deflect it. Instead, Chaca shot far above their heads a few times, causing the light fixture above to break off and fall from the ceiling. Chaca was actually surprisingly accurate with the blaster

As the light fixture fell, the two had no choice but to respond, giving SiRiDio a moment while they both would be distracted. The weaker apprentice simply dodged out of the way, while the master looked up and quickly took hold of the falling light fixture with the force, and launching it toward SiRiDio and Chaca

The Zabrak saw the blaster fire erupt knocking down the lights, the smaller Sith dodged out of the way while the other flung the debris with the force, SiRiDio raised his right hand creating a Force barrier around himself and the Cathar.

" I will deal with this, find you're way out "

The energy deflected all debris, the Zabrak dropped his cloak, watching the two Sith as his eyes started to glow, he unclipped his lightsaber from his waist igniting both blades. He could read their forms, it was clear the master used Form 7, while the younger of the two seemed to favor a Form 4/ Form 5 hybrid. He stepped back into a ready position, he broke the hilt down into two different sabers, Jar'Kai was favored form into situations like this one, he shot forward slashing at the apprentice kicking him in the chest sending him into the wall just as the Zabrak ducked an incoming attack from the Master.

He went into a defensive mindset using his speed to evade their strikes deflecting rather than stonewalling, he needed to get them separated but the Master was always on his tail never leaving him time to strike the younger Sith down. The Zabrak leaped back unleashing a wave of force energy that sent the apprentice flying back into the wall leaving him almost unconscious, SiRiDio took the opportunity to leap at the Master switching to his Ataru stance to overwhelm him with speed. Sadly this attempt would fail, every slash and stab would be met with one in kind, the Zabrak kept his calm keeping constant pressure breaking him down thread by thread.
