Chaca
Anomaly
Chaca nodded in relief. He was glad SiRiDio preferred stealth to a frontal assault. Chaca wasn't much of a fighter, he tended to evade and confuse enemkes more than engage them directly. But there was something about this Sith base. Something darker and more sinister than the balance of this place could allow
"I'll be right back."
Chaca said after nodding to SiRiDio. Though Chaca knew little bits of information from studying and infiltrating this base, SiRiDio was in charge as far as the small cathar was concerned. The Zabrak would certainly be more experienced in these sort of situations.
Chaca leapt up onto a small outcropping on the cave wall, moving with surprising speed and agility. He was light and swift, and actually made scaling the wall look fairly easy as he leapt and grabbed, climbing his way to a dark corner where the base meets rock, high above the set of doors.
Disappearing into the shadows, Chaca's eyes would scan in the dark as he moved and climbed through the tight rock crevice. Within the gap was a broken air duct, leading into the Sith base. Squeezing through the break, the small cathar was soon inside the air ducts and crawling as silently as he could back toward the cave-exit door.
Coming to the room with the door, Chaca scanned the room with his slightly glowing eyes, seeing that the room was clear. They didn't send many workers through these doors in Chaca's experience, so he expected it would likely be empty
Unhinging the grate, Chaca slipped into the room, and reset the ventilation grate where it had been, leaving no hint that he had come through there. Leaping down a few large containers, Chaca made his way to the floor, approaching the door. The door made a few beep sounds, acknowledging that it had been approached from the inside. With a large hiss sound the door released its locks, and proceeded to part, each side pulling open to reveal the small cathar standing on the other side. He grinned a little
"Ta-da!"
He said playfully with a snicker. His tail lashed as he pointed up the hallway.
"I've only explored a little bit this way. There is a supply room nearby I've been taking little things from here and there"
In the control center a few levels up, a com panel begins to flash, alerting a few of the workers.
"Sir, we're getting indications of mine bay door 5 opening. It has to be one of ours because it opened from the inside, but I'm not showing any crews down there on the schedule today"
The communications cadet reported to a lieutenant standing nearby.
