A New Bond

Ashla has been jumping from Planet to planet enjoy her new freedom, while her ship is anything but good the old HWK is serviceable for the small travels the Togruta makes nowadays, "as long as it flies and can take me out of Nar Shaddaa I'm happy" Were the words that she use when she bought that thing.

Now the Togruta found herself in the planet of Naboo, a place she heard a lot of and was a little eager to know, she's been in mostly city centered planets and for all she heard Naboo has a really nice ecosystem surrounded by grasslands, swamps, forest, etc. And let's not forget to mention the aquatic life! There is a lot that the girl can enjoy there so that was her next destination

After some hours of travelling she finally reach the planet and docked in the capital city of Theed, she walked looking around the place before reaching her destination, the architecture of the city was beautiful and nothing like Nar Shaddaa which was always good on her book, after some minutes walking the girl reach the outskirts and in front of her miles and miles of green.

The Grassland was just as she heard and she couldn't be more happy, it's been ages since Ashla saw so much green and in a way she felt a little nostalgic, it was hard to explain but being on a place like this remind her of when she was a kid living in Shili before her life as a slave and escaping and living as a thief on Nar Shaddaa.

"It's so beautiful" The girl said before jumping and rolling down the hill, it was childish but she can't help it right now "This was my best idea in a long time!" She yell while laughing and giggling

She decided to rest there and look at the clouds, enjoy the landscape for a little while, today was her "me day" and she wanted to enjoy it

"Go visit Naboo or something. Do whatever, just... make sure you don't do anything I wouldn't do."
"There is quite a bit you would do. You-"
"Kale, Hush. Just go already."

I smiled at going over the last couple words that my mentor and master had spoken to me. Constantly training and working on becoming the best student I could be for Jade. With the various incursions against the rakgouls, the Eclipse Death cult, Pirates under the attacks of various Sithly lords, It was a bunch for me. Coming from what the rest of the galaxy thought of as a backwater planet, I was only learning more and more of the galaxy. Various species of aliens that were different in every way. Some had tails on their heads, others had to wear masks, and some had different colored skin tones. It was strange. Growing up, I only saw people who had my own skin tone. Humans as it was normally called.

I had not really asked about going on a leave, but more so was talking to Master Romi about it. Places we could go instead of the various broken ships or places that needed to be fixed. I explained I wanted to learn of the places we were fighting for. Not only that, but to just be able to see them and learn of the people upon them. No matter who they were. Romi then took this as a time to teach me. Telling me to take my own ship, and make my own way to whatever planet I wanted. However, I didn't know where to go.

Hence me coming to Naboo. It was the planet she mentioned specifically. So taking one of the freighters that were freely usable by the Green Jedi, I had set a course to Naboo with Amon coming along with. However, as we landed, I wanted to go alone. Keeping the droid aboard our ship and making sure it wasn't taken and to make sure it was refueled. General upkeep of the ship.

"You really should let me come, Romi would be ma-"
"I need to learn. The best way for a child to learn to not touch a hot flame, is to let them."
"Why would you purposely harm a child to teach it?"
"You need to catch up on how humans learn. We aren't just given information and its done. Sometimes, we have to physically experience it in order for our minds to understand."
"So you would say, that failure to adhere to whatever rule or consequence of such action, is what you learn from?"
"Yes. That is exactly what I said."
"No you said-"
"I do not need you to repeat it. Just take care of the ship. If I am not back by nightfall, then call me."
"Very well Master Kale."

Shaking my head, I left the starport. Even in this limited time I had spent outside on the ramp of the ship, I found the weather rather enjoyable. Taking off my spacer style jacket, I let the bright blue shirt see some of the sun and bathe me in a light. It was comfortable. Much different from the artificial lights of ships, or the dimmer colors of Corellia. Looking up to the sky, I made my way through the city and out of it. Didn't take very long to reach some of the fabled grasslands. Hoisting my jacket over my shoulder, I walked out into the fields. Making my way ever further from the bounds of the city and the walls of civilization. I found myself smiling ever so little as it reminded me of home.

A backwater planet that had no real forms of buildings, skyscrapers, or palaces. It reminded me of the simple life I had lived. Farming upon my fathers field before I was taken by my mother. I could return home at some point. Check in on them maybe. Though, I am sure my mother would likely not like to see me. Considering I left her in the middle of the night.

Either way, I closed my eyes, breathed in deeply. Drawing in the clean air and letting all of my stress out.

Ashla spend several minutes looking at the blue sky, the little birdlike creature flying around and the feeling of the wind on her face, she was experiencing a peace and tranquility that has not felt in so much time, she close her eyes and took a deep breath at that moment the girl felt as if she was one with the grasslands, she could felt everything around her from the smallest bug to the Falumpaset eating the grass nearby, tho between all that Ashla felt something or rather someone else.

The Togruta open her eyes and quickly sit up looking at her surroundings, it was weird for her to feel that way she look to were she felt that presence and sure enough someone just arrive in the grasslands and was doing exactly the same as her, Ashla wonder if she should say anything or leave him be, at least it wasn't causing any noise or something similar to disturb this peace, for now she'll say nothing but will still have him in the corner of her eye just in case

Good Men Don't Need Rules
If you ever told me, this moment is where I would be, years earlier, I would have never believed you. Living on a planet that while bountiful with crops, wildlife, and the beauty of nature, were abound, was just to me, my home once upon a time. Working in the fields, running errands that could potentially take days due to the distance that some of the farms were from the more civilized places such as towns or villages. There was nothing even remotely related to a City. While we did hear as children, tails of "houses" that were taller than the sky, and carts that could be pulled without a mule, or a creature of burden. Something foreign as a Spaceship, Starfighters, Dreadnoughts, was well beyond our capacity for the people of Weik.

A backwater Farming planet where about the closest you got to civilizations and weapons more powerful than your simple swords, were the Sunfire Swords. Weapons that shone more brilliantly than the stars. Lighter than any torch, and could easily cleave through whatever stood in your path. However, wielded by the mythical Paladins of Adamite Tower. A singular skyscraper that stood against the forests below, as a symbol of the divine right that these Warrior-Judges to defend the people who could not defend themselves.

As a child, I lay awake at night. Wishing to be one of these mytical warriors. Only... after seeing it first hand, being accepted into the order by my own mother no less, I ran. Running from my responsibility, I thought I could find somewhere else to be. To live a simple life. However, that changed when the man who had been helping me travel across the stars, died to a Cultist of the Servants of the Dark. Using one of the "Sunfire Swords" to pierce him through the chest. To see the man's hopeless face as he died in my arms. It hit me. It struck me in a way I didn't imagine it.

Now, I... I still run. I cannot use this force that many have proclaimed to me that I have control of. I can barely fight to hold my own, let alone fight to defend others, and even then, instead of training, I sought out a wide expanse in which I could just breathe and think of the simpler times. Breathing in deeply, I found myself conflicted within my thoughts. Digging deeper when I shouldn't be. A deep breath in. Holding it for quite a moment, before releasing it. Doing so again and again until I was fairly close to finding my center. The place that Master Romi had taught me to keep myself. To held harness what I could do.

I was almost there, until I opened my eyes. Seeing another person in the field. Furrowing my brow, I tried to get a better look from where I stood. No clue what species they were, but the body shape suggested female. What perplexed me, was the... tassels? Tails? Crown? That this woman wore. It was strange and new. Never have I seen someone with such attributes. Part of me wanted to investigate, however, the other side didn't want to disturb the woman. She seemed to be at peace with whatever was around her.

Yet, my legs had a mind of their own. Even as I was arguing with myself if I should speak or ask, My feet carried me across the field over to her. Without even thinking, my mouth spoke of its own as well.

"Hey-uh... I hate to bother you, but I have never seen one of your kind before. You... I uh... You look interesting."

Interesting Kale? That is the best you could come up with? Of all the things you could have sai- Hold up man. Why are you even talking her her? She doesn't have to answer you and you are likel- No you are making a fool of yourself by asking that. Everyone else in the Galaxy would know what kind of species this girl is. So why would you of all people ask? Hell, last time you did that to a little girl with two tails on her head, she ran away from you because you looked scary. Making you apologize to the little girls mother to explain you were new to the galaxy and you weren't intending on hurting her.

Oh the Force, please don't end up doing that again. Just...

DON'T.

[member="Ashla Saris"],

Ashla decided to lay down on the grass again and enjoy the peace of the grassland, again as long as this young man didn't make noise and break the quiteness of the place she wouldn't have a problem, we all need to take a break and relax from time to time and she would argue this was the perfect zone for it.

Tho she didn't go back to that trance like state where she felt connected with everything around her, she was enjoying her time here, tho as stated before she kept the man on the corner of her eye and soon enough she'd see him getting closer, she usually doesn't mind men getting close to her as it was a everyday thing when she lived in Nar Shaddaa, here is a different story, the Togruta was ready for anything that could happen.

Yet what happen made her burst into laughter, that must've been the worst start for a conversation/pick up line she has ever heard, after laughing for some minutes she sat up with her legs crossed and took a good look of [member="Kale Seleare"]

"Charm is not your forte, huh?" She said smiling "Want to go back and try again?"

It wasn't too hard to notice that Kale was having a small inner conflict,while she never met someone that didn't know what a Togruta was the galaxy is so big that who knows? Maybe it was his first time out in the galaxy and that was a feeling she could relate in someway as this was too her first time on her own in this vast galaxy, so it'll probably be best to give him a hand right now.

"I'm a Togruta, my species is native from the Planet Shili" Ashla said as she stood up and was face to face with Kale "Interesting in which way? Do you find me beautiful? Exotic? Interesting can mean a lot of things so..." She show a teasing smile and wait for the reaction

Good Men Don't Need Rules
She outright laughed at me. To say I was embarrassed was an understatement. However, I was confused as to why she burst out into laughter. What was causing her to feel the need to laugh at my... ignorance of who she was? She had been laying on the ground, but moved to sit upright as she spoke about charm not being my forte. Charm? Was she really thinking that was the reason I was talking to her? Before I could answer, her follow up was asking me, prodding me about if I wanted to try that again.

"I... Nevermind."

Standing up, she spoke of her species and where she came from. Toegrutah? Togruta? Something to that effect. Coming from the planet of Shili. I made a mental note to myself to add that to my list of stuff to follow up on. Along with various Holoshows that people mentioned to me, and even things such as people fighting each other for sport. What really got me embarrassed about this all, was that she asked what Interesting meant. However, I could see clearly she was trying to be flirtatious and play with the aspect of my asking. Giving a half hearted smile I answered,

"In honest, I have never seen anything like you. So, yes. You are quite beautiful against the sea that is Humans. I think the term some people use is Corsca gem in the rough?"

There you go Kale. Now you are have a footing with the situation. Just make sure now not to slip up with whatever else you might say.

"I was apprehensive because I asked a little girl the same question, only for her to run from me. Later finding out she was a Twi'lek."

DAMNIT KALE! That is not what you should have done. Now you look like a damned pervert or something. You need to fix this now.

"I come from a backwater planet where all of this technology, and Galaxy and blasters, and whatever else, seems extremely far away. Only humans live on Weik, and I am interested in learning. I guess I just wanted to know what... if species is the right word."

There you go. Now just hold onto that. Don't screw up again, and you might make it out of this without losing all of your dignity. Since you are on this train, then you might as well continue. And you know what? Go all in.

"I mean, that is if you don't mind my asking? It's not like I get to meet beautiful and interesting people every day."

[member="Ashla Saris"],

Ashla smiled as [member="Kale Seleare"] didn't flinch by her tease if anything it seem he gain a little bit of confidence saying that he never saw anyone like her and that she was quiet beautiful, tho the compliments are welcome he should be careful this is a dangerous game that Ashla has play for a long time, flirting is one of her strengths after all, for some reason people tend to be more attracted to Twi'leks and Togrutas and that's something the girl takes advantage quiet often.

The Togruta laugh again when Kale told the tale of how he spook a little Twi'lek, tho this time it wasn't the big burst of laughter but more of a friendly fit of giggles, in all honesty that sounds like an honest mistake for someone that doesn't know much about the galaxy but it doesn't mean it's not funny

"Ah yes, Curiosity can be a double edge blade, on one hand you get knowledge on the other it can lead to several misunderstandings, tho this time lead you to me whether that's good or not it depends on you~" Said Ashla winking at Kale

A planet with almost no technology or at least the technology everyone is use to have 24/7, that's interesting and it explains the curiousness of the young man, it was cute to say the least and again being inexperienced in the vast galaxy is something that Ashla can relate to so why not? let's answer his questions

"Well in that case, get confortable and ask away~" She lay down on the grass again "And a fair warning, don't flirt unless you're ready to play a game you'll lose~" The Togruta wink again and awaited for Kale's questions

Good Men Don't Need Rules
She explained my position quite well. Curiosity tended to, or could be a double edged sword. One where asking too much, could lead to bad results. However, I simply held the smile I had upon my face as she went to lay back down again. Even winking at me when presenting the challenge of flirting. While I did enjoy the aspect of potential, I was not sure how flirting was a game to be won. I had thought it was supposed to be a mutual prodding of each other in a way that could be quite... fun.

However, I shrugged my shoulders as I sat down in the grass. I was next to her, close enough just to have a conversation, but not close enough to break any personal bubbles she may have. So, I got into it with her. Beginning with a small introduction of myself, and then the questions.

"I'm Kale, and yes, you may laugh at any question I ask that would be strange."

Saying the last bit with a chuckle to myself, I reserved that right with how... open she seemed to be about this. Letting me ask questions that may or may not have been personal about her kind. I can assume some stuff with how her body portions matched that of any human. The shape, scale, and everything in between. However, it was mostly the skin tone, colored face, and whatever it was called on her head. I even did notice the sharper teeth than normal to that of my kind. So, I started out small.

"You said you came from Shili, do all of your kind consider that your home planet, or are you more wide spread like Humans?"

[member="Ashla Saris"],

The Togruta chuckle at Kale's introduction, tho the offer was there she wouldn't laugh at him or his questions, what made her burst into laughter before was his approach, but unless the young man gets flustered or nervous and says something embarrassing because of that he won't hear the Togruta's laugh for a while.

As for his question? Ashla close her eyes and thought letting out an audible "hmmmmm", being honest she doesn't really know how widespread her kind is, she saw several Togruta on diferent planets but it was hard to tell if they were natives or not

"Not sure how spread we are but I do know that Shili is our home planet" She made a small pause "But I'm sure you'll meet more of my kind soon enough, specially if you frequent bars or wretched hives of scum and villainy" Ashla open her eyes and sighed "Much like Twi'leks we are usually target to be sell as slaves or dancers"

It's sad to think that such is the fate of many but as time passed Ashla learn to look for herself and no one else, so as long as she has her freedom nothing else matters

"My turn, it wouldn't be fair if you're the only one making questions, right? She smile again "What do you think of the galaxy so far? As someone that just started exploring too I'd like to hear your opinions and adventures"

[member="Kale Seleare"]

Good Men Don't Need Rules
So they had a home planet. A place to call their ancestral home, but likely it was just that. It was dependent upon the person. From what she mentioned of how Togrutas were treated, slaves, servants, or worse for those who had enough money to do so. The tone of her voice though, Almost as though she had seen some of this herself. I was wanting to ask her about it, but thought wiser of the situation. I didn't need to press about her personal life, and I doubt she would like it.

Luckily she asked me a question as it was only fair. I had a small chuckle as she seemed to take the lead on this one. Asking me what I saw of the galaxy so far. My thoughts of it and what I have been shown or experienced. I took an honest thought. A second or two to mull over the thoughts in my head before answering.

"I have seen a couple worlds within the galaxy, and I know it will take many years before I could see many more. I have met all kinds of people. Cults of death, The Jedi, A network of Judges in the Outer Rim, and even came face to face with the Sith Empire. Its... a lot to take in. I have learned to not ask questions why, and to just accept it for the most part."

Chuckling at myself a moment, I shook my head to clear my thoughts and gave a better answer.

"If I had to recount everything that has happened so far, it would take hours, but what I have seen, I enjoy for the most part. I just hope I can see more."

I was actually kind of glad that she asked that question. It got me to think about what I had been through, and can show myself how far I have come in such a short time. I even fought an old plague of Rakgouls, but maybe this is just what I needed. Just... something else to do. Someone to talk to?

"Does your uh... crown i guess? The horns on your head do anything?"

[member="Ashla Saris"],

Ashla's eyes widened in excitement as [member="Kale Seleare"] start telling her of the many things he saw on the galaxy, there were some names that ringed some bells like jedi and sith, she didn't meet one personally but for what she heard about them in Nar Shaddaa it was smart to avoid them, she smiled as he kept talking

"Looks like someone had a lot of adventures" The girl chuckle "I hadn't done much myself, I've manage to leave Nar Shaddaa just a couple of weeks ago and my ship is not use for long trips, so I've been taking my time with the new planets"

She definitely will ask more about his experience on the galaxy later, now she had to address his question, it's a little odd for someone to ask about a Togruta's montrals so explaining it was going to be a little hard, but she had an idea of what to do!
Ashla move to be sit in front of Kale and hold his hand, guiding it to the bottom part of her Montrals, she'd leave his hand there so he could feel it, it was mostly soft to the touch

"Try not to stroke it too hard, it's a very sensitive part" She comment before starting the explanation "Our "crowns" are made of two parts, the head tails at the bottom also known as Lekku, which don't have much use aside of speaking Twi'lekki" Then she grab his hand again and guide it to the top part, it was hard like a horn and a little rough "And the top part is known as Montrals, they are horns that are mostly hollow and we can use them as some sort of echolocation, our hearing sense is extremely high thanks to them" Hopefully that explanation would be enough

Good Men Don't Need Rules
She apparently liked the idea that I had seen quite a bit of the galaxy in the short time I have been traveling. I guess you could say it was one of the upsides to being a Jedi. However, what got me more intrigued to her, was that she only just left Nar Shaddaa herself. While I have never been there yet, I had heard stories of the Mafias, Crime Syndicates, and just shifty people who worked and operated there. However, it was owned out by those groups. Being part of one of them, or none of them would get you into some serious trouble. So her leaving there was likely liberating for her. Even more so since Ashla was now here. On a rather beautiful planet.

After asking the question of her horns, She then explained it quite evenly. The tails on her head were called Lekku just like Twi'leks. However, the crown on her head, or the entire setup was montrals. A hollow bone that could be used as a sensory device, namely echolocation. Which was interesting. However, I was a little nervous when she was grabbing my hand and had me touch the lekku and the montrals. Soft and smooth for the lekku, but entirely different. A literal bone structure for the montrals is what made me even more interested.

"I uh... Sorry."

I was quite literally touching this young woman, on something that her species alone had.

"You are right. The lekku are quite... soft and smooth."

There was a part of me that wanted to keep rubbing the lekku. Being so soft, it was much smoother than my own skin, or for that matter, any other leather, hide, or skin I had felt before. Even the fur of animals I kept on the farm was no where near as soft as this. It was strange but quite soothing to feel it. However, I pulled my hand back and realized I was staring at her quite a bit. I broke contact for a moment and just pulled my hands back to myself.

"Thank you for sharing that. I uh... probably sound like a child asking these questions. I hope that is okay."

[member="Ashla Saris"],

[member="Kale Seleare"] nerves didn't go unnoticed for the Togruta, maybe Ashla went a little too far with this but she didn't really know how to explain it, tho Kale didn't seem too bothered either, he didn't take his eyes out of her nor stop caressing her lekku, the Togruta just close her eyes and let the young man feel her head tails a little more although it didn't last long, he quickly broke contact and ask for forgiveness

"Sorry for what?" She question tilting her head to a side "You didn't do anything wrong I actually let you, it would be bad if I didn't and you touch me anyways, that's what anyone would call stranger danger" Ashla chuckle "You say that like if it was a bad thing, wanna talk about childish? I was just rolling on the grass as soon as I get here!" The girl kept laughing hopefully easing Kale a little bit

To be completely honest she understood how he felt, once the galaxy opens up everything is new and you want to learn and know everything, actually if it wasn't because of his kind was rather common she would be asking tons of things about him, well she does have questions but not so much about him and more of his experience and encounters, maybe that would help him ease a little more

"So... How are they?" She look at him in the eyes waiting for an answer and then realize she wasn't clear enough "I mean, the jedi and sith, heard stories about them but never meet one, I guess it's good they don't look for a petty thief like me for what the bounty hunters tell they are terrible foes"

Good Men Don't Need Rules
Yeah it wasn't a bad thing I guess? Sure while she may had allowed me to touch her, I didn't want to... over step myself? I had no clue what limits Ashla had. She did say she came from Nar Shaddaa, so I am sure there were likely people who had touched the wrong buttons. I didn't want to be one of those people. I guess I was afraid of scaring people away from me. I had no ill intent, or wished harm. Considering she has been so kind to me thus far, I didn't want to sour that.

However, I didn't think much on it further as she began to ask her own question. At first I was confused. "They" being informal and rather vague. I assumed she meant people I had met, but with the addition of context, it cleared it up. She stated she never met one, and only heard stories of these groups of people. My smile deepened ever so much as I looked directly at her eyes. Dark blue and filled with wonder just as much as my own.

"As it so happens, I am a Jedi. Well, at least a Jedi in Training."

Holding that smile a bit, I thought over what I should say. The people I have met and what I have seen. I mulled over it for a moment more when I continued.

"Jedi are revered to be some galactic police. When in truth, they are just people. People who want to see others not just survive, but thrive. I have been around many different Jedi-like people. They all want the same. People to be able to live a happy life. With the limited times I have met with the Sith or any related Cults, they seem to be out for their own agenda. Selfish to the core, and seeking to empower only themselves. Stating that they are the strongest, and so they are to rule."

Shrugging my shoulders, my hands splayed open as though there wasn't much else to say.

"I can see both ideas thriving. The reason humans, or other species have lived so long, is because the strong survived. The best traits of people survived because it helped us survive on whatever planet we came from. Which is the idea for some of the Sith. However, The Jedi want to preserve life no matter what kind it is. Seeking to help those who would easily fall, or fail. To show compassion when others would not, is something that touches the souls of all those who are affected by it. However, I feel that while the Jedi are the best choice, that there really isn't a group that is always the right choice."

Smiling and shaking my head, I waved it off without another thought.

"Its mostly just ideas, theories, and philosophies that make the difference between the two. But not like a lowly apprentice, or the normal person cares. All they want is a good paying job, a full stomach, and a bed to get home too."

Paying closer attention to her a little more, my smile deepened once more, I didn't directly point, but I did bring attention to her mouth. Specifically her teeth. Sharp and even maybe serrated. Meant for cutting into meat and slicing through flesh.

"I guess it's my turn. So are the Togruta carnivores, or can they eat fruits and other stuff as well?"

[member="Ashla Saris"],

Well that's fortunate! First time asking about the famous jedi and she has one in front of her, albeit in training but a jedi nonetheless! [member="Kale Seleare"] confirm what she already knew, the Jedi were the "good guys" those who most criminals run away and don't want to deal with, yet at the same time bounty hunters looking for them to have a story to tell, while Kale did taught her something new, rather than being police as the togruta believe, they are keepers of peace and fight for everyone to have a happy life, that's definitely a goal she can vouch for.

The sith on the other hand strive for power for one self and believe in the survival of the fittest, in a way is something she does believe then again, a life as a slave and then some years living in Nar Shaddaa would make anyone believe on the survival of the fittest, one just has to take care of itself because no one will do otherwise.

"I see, you definitely taught me something I didn't know about them, they both have strong beliefs and in the case of the jedi a noble goal" She nodded "And agree, nothing beats a full stomach and a bed, the job it's a little tricky as I steal for living but nothing that would get me into big troubles" Ashla chuckled again

Now he seemed more relax than before which is good, Ashla doesn't want this to be awkward at all this is an opportunity for both to learn something and the casual it feels the better, it makes it easier to talk and have fun, oh and speaking of having fun might as well take the time to tease a little taking advantage of the young man's question.

Ashla smiled and leaned forward her mouth slightly open, when she was close enough the Togruta show her teeth mostly her fangs with a big smile "We do eat fruits and vegetables, but we are mostly carnivores"

Good Men Don't Need Rules
She thought about what I had said. Agreeing with it in some degrees, and even bringing up her own just a little bit. Stealing to get what she needed, but nothing large. I am sure she got by, and I understood why some people felt compelled to do so. While I never have, nor have I felt like I needed to, others might resort to it because its the only choice they do have. This insight showed me that she had lived a fairly harder life than myself, and maybe others It also made me... I guess show sympathy for her.

But the subject changed. She smiled with quite the grin. Showing off teeth and the sharp points at which they were at. Leaning in closer to me to show me even. Even the teeth that were incisors or fangs. Longer to pierce into the thicker flesh of meat. It was interesting to say the least. In that moment, I had... weird thoughts about her. I leaned forward myself. Getting a better look at her face, and mouth. I confused myself. Why would my first thoughts of her, be "She must have soft lips." Something just told me, and to be completely honest, part of me wanted to find out. However, I wouldn't push it

"That is interesting. Is there anything else the Togruta are known for?"

I smiled a little bit as asked that question. Only only to feel a little adventurous with the current situation.

"The different shades of your skin. Are they just tattoos, and are they on other parts of your body?"

[member="Ashla Saris"],

Yup, things were going smoother now, Kale's nerves seem to be fade out and that was nice, he even lean forward to have a closer look something that Ashla didn't really expected, but didn't move the Togruta knew he wouldn't take advantage of the situation, he was too nice to do it or knew she was just teasing.

Anything else the Togrutas are known for? Several actually, she thought it would be nice to start with something related to his other question, the face markings, Ashla lean back a little and took of her long coat and then she turn around showing her back where more of the white stripes could be visible .

"We usually hunt, the marks in our faces and monthrals makes it easier to camuflage in tall grass, not many wild animals can see in colour so having these marks and stripes help us hide better" She explained turning again and looking at [member="Kale Seleare"] "Of course we don't use this much clothes when we hunt, speaking of there is an old rumor that we are poisonus, like our fangs can secrete a numbing poison that we use to paralyze our preys, that's just a rumor tho I wouldn't mind have that kind of skill" She chuckled

Now she wanted to ask something, knowing that he was a jedi there was a little thing that she always wanted to know about the stories she heard about jedi and sith, the Force. Where this individuals capable of using a power that not anyone had an just push people around, zap them with lightnings or mind control them?

"So... How does the Force work? Do you know any trick that you could show me?

At first I was wondering what she was doing. Removing clothing, She then turned around to show her back. The jacket she wore covered a shirt that exposed her midriff. On the small of her back, reaching up and underneath her clothing were more of these markings. Explaining that they were natural marks used for hunting, it started to make sense. Echolocation, sharp teeth and blending in with the environment only goes to show that the Togruta were avid hunters. And while she did state that they normally wore very little clothing while hunting, it made sense. Clothing was abnormal to "Mother Nature." So their skin would help them blend in.

Turning back to face me, she also brought up that some people thought they were venomous. However, it was a rumor as much as Ashla may have wanted it to be real. Maybe they used it as an intimidation factor? I was unsure but she seemed rather enjoyed with that aspect. I smiled a little bit as she talked. Listening and taking in all I could of her people and culture. However, she then asked me about the force.

Specifically, if I had any tricks. I kind of felt my heart sink in my chest a little. Part of me hoped she wouldn't ask, but may as well come out with it now.

"I am part of the Jedi. Training to be like them, but according to many, I am not 'Awoken' within the force. I don't have any of their abilities. About the best I can do, is have some supernatural ' gut feeling' that something is wrong. Kind of like how a wild animal would be able to tell something is hunting them, or when coming face to face with others, can feel their presence."

I shrugged my shoulders. Kind of upset that it was brought this way, however, I hoped to maybe lift spirits a little.

"I do have this though!"

Reaching to my side, I unhooked my lightsaber and pulled it forth. Showing it to her, and then indicating she could take it if she wanted to look at it.

"Just uh, don't flip that switch. Don't want it to turn on and hurt someone. But its the Lightsaber that Jedi and Sith tend to carry. I uh... I actually made that one myself."

Whoops! Looks like she ask something that push a button she shouldn't, it seems that Kale hasn't "awaken" to the force whatever that means, so for now he can't use it that's rather interesting to say the least, it was impressive that Kale come clean with that and didn't lie it shows that he is an honest person.

He then show her something looked like a metallic cylinder with some switch and buttons, it was long enough to fit perfectly in one hand and it was a little heavier for how small it was, so this was the famous lightsaber the weapon of the Jedi and Sith, Ashla smiled as she check the weapon being careful of not flipping the switch that Kale mention, it didn't look like an artefact easy to craft she was definitely impress by it

"Amazing! And you make it yourself?" She hand back the lightsaber "How much time did it took you? No, wait is your turn, and since you were honest with me it's fair if I'm too, so go ahead and ask whatever crosses your mind and I'll answer without a second thought"

I smiled brightly as she did find it quite impressive that I made it. Shrugging my shoulders as she attempted to ask her own question, but then pulled back since it was supposed to be my turn.

"I am not worried about taking turns, more so than just having a conversation with you. But yeah. It took me a couple months to make. I had to do a lot of research into the metals and parts I wanted to add so the Lightsaber could work in pretty much any situation."

Taking it back from her, I replaced it back on my belt after a moment. It then hit me, that she spoke earlier about stealing stuff, and she could have easily taken it from me and run off. I am sure Lightsabers on the black market sold for quite the pretty penny. However, she didn't. I guess she was trustworthy enough with that.

My mind moved on from those thoughts to her own question she wanted me to ask. Saying that I could ask with whatever would cross my mind, and she would answer without a second thought. I smiled a bit. Maybe she was interested in meeting someone else? Standing up from where we were sitting, I offered the woman my hand.

"Would you like to see a friend of mine? I am sure they would be happy to meet someone other than my face."

After asking her, I realized how forward it was. And how I was almost quite literally just taking her somewhere she wouldn't know. I stammered a bit before continuing.

"I uh.. I mean, they are at my ship, and I was wondering if you wanted to come and meet pretty much my only friend in the galaxy at the moment."
