Shai had grown a nasty habit over the last few years of simply dropping in to pay her sister a visit, announced or not. She wasn't particularly phased and seeing Valery squirm with her sudden arrival was simply a cherry on top. But this visit was entirely different with its intent. She wasn't just there to terrorize Valery or pester the Jedi Master. She was there to learn.

For the first time in her life, Shai actively wanted to learn about what made a Force user tick. What made them operate, what made them the idols she and her mother looked up to over the years.

The most probable culprit was none other than boredom. But even beyond that, Shai had a curiosity that she wanted to satisfy.

Even her attire was odd as she entered the temple unannounced, a simple tank top and jeans, and simply brushed off the odd jedi that tried to see her out. It helped to know Valery's name, it seemed. Eventually she managed to track down the Jedi Master and fell in with a tight embrace. "Yo, Val!" The Shistavanen greeted as she wrapped her arms around the woman in a heartfelt embrace. "How's things been going?" She asked her casually, not wanting to drop the big question on her just yet.

"Shai?"

Valery had been pleasantly surprised by random visits from her dear friend before, even once on New Cov itself after Kahlil had 'died'. But for some reason, she really seemed surprised today. Nothing major had happened, there was little to no drama in her life or in Shai's, as far as she knew. So why was she here unannounced?

Maybe she'd somehow heard about...?

Either way, Valery returned the hug, as they stood in the main hall of the Temple, and offered her sis a big smile. It didn't matter when or where Shai showed up, it always made the day a lot better. Or at least a lot more interesting. "I've been well, and actually have some big news." She chuckled warmly.

"I uh, am going to become a mother again. It's strange because I can't feel a thing yet, but Vera saw a vision..." she suddenly began to blush at the idea, and let out a soft sigh. "Triplets too, so that's quite something."

With a shake of her head, she snapped back out of it. "What about you, though? Everything okay? I really wasn't expecting you out here today."

Upon hearing Valery's "big news" the Shistavanen's smile became strained and her brows furrowed with concern. "Triplets, huh? C-o-n-g-r-a-t-s... I guess?" The thought of it had her mind running through all manner of worrisome ideas. "My aunt had triplets a few years ago... she also tried to kill herself... not saying this or that, just saying there's a connection." She spoke with her strained voice, though she was trying her best to shake the attitude and at least be happy for Valery.

Although that brought up another question. "Wait, so... you're still seeing that agent guy?" She continued with a raised brow. "Again, not sayin' this or that... just sayin' ya need to be careful with those spook types." This little visit became a lot more awkward than she was ready for. Luckily Valery's question saved the Shistavanen from more opportunities of potentially pressing her sister's buttons.

Jumping on the opportunity, she gave the Jedi's shoulder a punch and a bright smile. "Hell yeah! Everything's going great. Just some drama with Xyoz and his business shenanigans but hey! Keeps stuff fresh." She became a bit more bashful as she tried to find the right wording for her true intentions of the visit.

"I, uh... um... yeah, you remember how you came to Kestri a while back? We taught you some stuff, you learned how Mandos tick, that kind of thing? Yeah, I was... thinking... what are the odds of me doin' the same?" Her cheeks were a bit hotter than a few seconds ago and her smile turned a lot more nervous.

She was going to slap the damn wizard if she laughed.

Valery blinked.

"I'll uh, definitely won't do that. I'm honestly really happy that I'm going to become a mother again. I just don't know when exactly yet." Vera's visions weren't always easy to interpret. Right now, she wasn't pregnant yet, but that could change at any moment since they were trying to have more kids.

But even for Valery, the conversation shifted to something a little less pleasant when the agent was brought up. "No, I uhm... I'm back with my husband. It's a long story, but Vera found out that he wasn't actually dead, and I managed to free him." She honestly couldn't be happier that Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble was back in her life, but so much drama had happened before that. She didn't want to linger on the topic for long, so clearly seemed relieved when it shifted to Shai again.

"I'm glad to hear it! I hope the drama settles though, but I'm sure you can handle it." She flashed a smirk and patted her sis on the shoulder. Very few things could really bring Shai down, so she knew that the shistavanen would be fine.

What followed next, though, was very surprising. "You want to go through some Jedi training?" She pressed her lips shut, hoping to suppress her growing grin, but she failed. Valery snickered for about 2 seconds, and patted Shai on the shoulder again. "Never thought I'd hear that from you, but of course. You helped me once when I wanted to learn about how Mandalorians fight, so it's the least I can do in return."

"Hmmm, I wonder if they have Padawan robes in your size, though." She grinned.

Shai was quite taken back when Valery admitted that her husband was alive again. Wide, crimson eyes stared for longer than was likely necessary but she decided against commenting on it, taking note of the discomfort in Valery's features. The Manda was a funky thing. Not that she could judge by any means, she was practically a droid only a few years ago.

She was quick to focus on the actual reason for her visit when a smirk crept onto her sister's features. "Kark off, I'm being serious!" She groaned with an embarrassed smile as she gave Valery a shove. When the Jedi mentioned the robes, Shai waved her concern off. "Hey, just give me one of those funky white robes y'all run around in..." She gave Valery a long look up and down as an eyebrow raised. "Well... supposed to run in. Definitely worked in that club, though." She remarked with a smug grin.

"Eh, but it's fine. Luckily I got enough hair for that funky braid y'all give the paddies. By the way, we probably won't need this, right?" He question was followed up with her drawing Peace from the holster strapped to her thigh.

Looking around for a moment, she casually scratched her head with the barrel of the heavy blaster. "So... how's it gonna work? I ain't a Forcie or something... definitely ain't a newbie to fighting... so, where do we start? Can't really put me against the other younglings... unless you wanna teach 'em a few hard knock lessons, huh!" She gave Valery a tap with her weapon as she cackled like a maniac, hoping to get a rile out of the Jedi.

"Kark off, I'm being serious!"

Valery just grinned and waggled her eyebrows at Shai after the shistavanen gave her a shove. This was way too amusing. At the same time, though, it was also a serious request, so Valery dipped her head and thought about options for robes. At least, until the club comment — that got Valery to narrow her fiery eyes a little.

"No guns... and I'll get you some proper robes. You might actually enjoy them, even." They were quite comfortable to most people. Valery just had her own preferences for clothing, which is why she had her personal designs. "As for where we could start..." Valery reached for the pistol to snatch it, both because Shai wouldn't need it, and to get her to stop scratching her head with it.

"What do you know about the Force already? Usually, we have meditation classes and basic Force abilities as starting points. That and learning about different cultures, history, and various things about the Galaxy. With a certain level of control over the Force, one can more easily get into lightsaber training as well."

She paused in thought for a moment. "Come on, let's head into the Temple and get your outfit sorted first. I'll also arrange sleeping quarters and I'll update you on when there's breakfast and lunch." She grinned again. "You'll be eating with the Padawans, of course."

Shai snickered as Valery snatched her blaster, though she didn't fight to keep a hold on it at least. "Hey, put Peace somewhere safe. She's part of a matching pair." She quipped with a wink as she watched Valery. She still needed to take her for shooting lessons sometime. Even Jedi could benefit from that.

The next question had Shai frown a little as she mulled over her answer. "I dunno. Y'all got some connection, you practice to use it, and you can do whatever you want with it. The Force is a big dog entity, and whether you got issues or not determines whether we blow your brains out or not." She answered with a shrug. It was a heavily condensed answer to keep things simple, but she knew Valery likely expected more. "Manda is the Force, pretty much. I'm sure we taught you that. The Manda is everything and everywhere, and y'all are able to use that connection to do your space magic. I ain't sure, I ain't no Forcie. I'm a Mandalorian. We don't learn how it works, we learn how to kill people who use it." Her own answer had her grow silent for a moment as her face contorted slightly.

"Val, I'm... I'm gonna be real with you..." She glanced at Valery, but her glowing crimson eyes drifted away almost instantly. "Nah, don't worry about it." She dismissed her own thoughts with a wave. It wasn't something she wanted to make public.

Luckily Valery drew a faint smile from the Shistavanen as she ushered her deeper into the temple, which soon turned into a laugh once she learned that she was going to be spending time with other padawans. "You think that's smart? Leaving me alone with a bunch of impressionable kids?" She teased with a smug look at Valery. "Half of those kids look like they're two bad lessons away from smoking in the bathrooms and sneaking out on weekends." She teased the Jedi with a snicker.

Luckily Shai behaved herself, despite all of her remarks and jokes, as she was outfitted with her own robes and kit. The last time she wore Jedi robes was to take a picture of herself posing with Valery's lightsaber. This time, though, it wasn't just for a photo.

She stuck close to Valery after donning her surprisingly comfortable and light robes, unsure of where to go or what to do next. "Okay, so... how's it gonna work? Y'all ever get trainees who ain't Forcies?" She asked her sister with a raised eyebrow.
