A New Master

[Sapphire Birch]

Sapphire had been trying to find a master ever since her other master died. Either people wouldn't take her or they already had someone in training. It was hard. But she finally found a master, but there was one catch... Sapphire had to pay him. Atleast it was better than nothing. Sapphire was pretty happy! Sapphire was told to meet at Coruscant. So she went there, and waited for her master. Hopefully he didn't show her up.

Wearing a hooded cloak as he had never trained someone before, Warren approached the individual who had offered to pay him for some lessons. While it was true he lacked skills with the lightsaber, he'd been doing his best to work on the force powers. Sure he was not a master yet at ether, but he knew what he did and was more than happy to pass it on. "So you're here for training, young student? Let's begin then. First though, I will give you two options. You can either pay me... or I'll be owed a few favors to be cashed in at a time of my choosing later..." said Warren. "What will it be, my student?"

Sapphire turned around to see her master. He asked her a question. " Oh um. The second one." Since Sapphire was poor she picked the favors. Sapphire then smiled, it was great to have a master.

"First. Do you possess a lightsaber? If not, that is easily rectifiable." Warren wasn't even going to begin lessons in lightsaber combat unless someone had a lightsaber. When he noticed some nearby criminals moving in their direction, he pulled out a blaster. It was one of his own design. Yet he had sold the designs to another company so that they could produce it. What was unique about this blaster was that ti incorporated a crystal normally found in the lightsabers to give it it's coloration. "Secondly, what force powers do you currently possess the capability to use? IE, what can you do with the Force?"

"Oh... I have a Lightsaber. It's blue, and I have the skills push, pull and grab." Sapphire replied. Sapphire took out her Lightsaber and handed it to the man. Sapphire already trusted him. That was a little stupid but Sapphire trusted him. Then force pulled a rock to her. "See?"

Warren took the offered lightsaber, and then one of the blaster pistols he had that used a lightsaber crystal. An idea donned on him. "While your lightsaber does appear to be of relatively good make, it could be better. Your first assignment. Since I believe you need a better lightsaber that is useful for both ranged and melee combat, you will experiment and combine these..." He said, handing her the lightsaber she'd given him, and his blaster. "I am going to teach you more offensive uses of Force Push and Force Pull, as well as a few other Force Powers. What do you say?"

"Sounds great!" Sapphire exclaimed. Sapphire took her saber and his blaster, "so first... How are we gonna combine these?" Sapphire asked. Looking at the two weapons.

"Well, for starters..." He pulled out designs that he had been working on for a combination of lightsaber and blaster pistol. They were nothing more than preliminary designs that he had done. "These will make a good start for you, considering it's YOUR lightsaber you'll be remaking. You'll do the work, because it your property. In any case, as my protege I will not have you armed with a low quality weapon. I will also be making you an energy shield you can use to protect yourself against energy weapons. This of course will cost another couple of favors when you become a Master.."

Warren paused for a moment, and handed her the schematics.

"Time for you to get started, my student."

(Sorry [member="Warren Century"] got school so I'll be a late responder)

"Alright!" Sapphire cheered, she was ready... she finally found a master. "So, where should we go first?"

 

[Warren Century]

"We will need a world that has mountains on it, for we will go there. Your training will not exactly be nice, but you'll learn things you wouldn't learn from other masters. Though, you'll have to really learn quickly as I've got a lot of work to do. Before we meet again...." He'd hand her a comm unit. "Your assignment is a rather simple one. You will build for yourself two lightsabers that also integrate the technology of blasters. You will bring the 2nd one to me, as a gift to your master. Depending on how well you did, I will choose the next lesson accordingly. Also, if you fail at this test I'll move straight to giving you a practical demonstration of the Force Power "Telekinesis" and testing your agility. You will use this to contact me when you are done creating the Sabers. "

He'd start to walk off. "Don't take too long now."
