A New Teacher

Lauren was 16 and finally free of her parents, she was here to learn. She had no idea what to expect but here she was waiting in the hall, still in her rather fashionable clothes that were no where near ready for any sort of training. She was idealistic that she could still wear them . She was waiting, texting someone on her communicator. She was also rather absorbed in it but well she was mainly glad to be free and allowed to do what she wanted. So here she was. lost to the world texting and listening to her earbuds. Your averaged self asorbed teenager.

Krest walked down the hall, hands behind his back. Recently a knight, he was looking to teach those he could. He stepped around the corner to see @[member="Lauren Walsh"] texting. Texting, that was a new one. He leaned on a corner, offering a light wave. "Need something?" He had no idea she couldn't hear him.

She giggled as she got her latest message before looking up to the man, curious he was red and had horns and a zebrak and he was waving at her. She took off the pods and looked to him 'What do you need?" She said as if he was interrupting her right now from her obviously more important actions. Despite him being the one she should be sucking up to. " Do you need something?" She said wondering what on earth he could want.

Krest shook his head slow. "No, not really. I was just curious why you were here listening to music out in the halls. Don't you have a place to be?" It was around the time the aspirants would be trained in history. Something pretty boring to the Zabrak, but important.

Lauren sighed " No, I was just signed up for the academy and well I don't know where to go so I took my place here, and took a seat. I am here to seek training. My mother sent me. I am Lauren Walsh. Daughter of Grand Admiral Jonathan Walsh, and Kalia Walsh she is best friends with archon Feena.. So I was sent here to the Templar academy but I don't know what to do here. "

Krest blinks slow, listening to the girl. "@[member="Lauren Walsh"] huh? I think I know someone related to you.. Anyway, what is it you want to learn? Perhaps I can help?" He smiled lightly. He was always willing to teach.

" Anything really I don't know anything really other than how to heal small injuries... " She said looking up wondering who he knew. Sophia? mm it could be she though " I have never had any combat training, though I know how to work on a ship too, I picked up my parents two passions, so I don't know much about physical combat. " She said looking up at him curiously.
@[member="Krest"]

Krest nods his head slow. "Well, lets get started with combat training." The Zabrak smiles, moving out to the training grounds. He didn't bother looking behind him to see if she was coming since he assumed she wanted to learn.

Lauren stowed away her gear in her purse and followed. She smiled and kept up her skirt swaying as she walked, she hoped there was a training uniform or something, cause she wasn't ready at all. Lauren smiled and kept following him to the training grounds, wondering what they were going to do. @[member="Krest"]

Krest pulled his saber off of his hilt and tossed it to her. The Hilt was flat, almost the shape of a katana. The emitter wasn't round, but a rectangular slit. Krest stood there, his hands down by his sides. "I'm curious on what you can do. Turn it on and attack me."

@[member="Lauren Walsh"]

She took it and looked at it, it was different than her mothers, she tossed her purse aside and giggled as she took off her skirt and shirt , revealing her underclothing, which was revealing to say the least. She smirked and ran at him, swinging wildly, before rather clumsily trying to revert it and hit him from a different direction hoping her lack of much clothing provided a distraction, though her form was probably terrible but she tried, and use all of her strength.
@[member="Krest"]

Krest blinked slowly at the lack of clothing. But it didn't seen to affect him at all. He slides back, twisting his body so the blade cuts only through the air. He moves past her, frowning. "A young lady like yourself shouldn't be so keen on stripping down like that. You may think its a distraction and to some it would be, but to others it'll be what makes them fight harder." He reverted back to his stance, his hands behind his back now. "Try again. One solid strike." @[member="Lauren Walsh"]

The real reason she had stripped down, was because she didn't want to tear her clothes. " Well I wasn't about to let you ruin them for your damn training" She said as she ran at him trying to swing from the side. His blade swinging in towards him. She had even caught her self from tripping as she charged forward. She was going to have to get more practical clothes at this rate.

Krest flicked his hand back, activating his palm saber. He catches her blade along it's edge, holding it there for a moment before leaping back. "Huh, true." He points to a row of lockers. No names on them or anything. "There are some training suits there. Feel free to put one on."

@[member="Lauren Walsh"]

She smiled and ran and put one on. Lauren came out in a training suit, which was obviously better for the situation. Smiling she ran at him again trying to strike him, this time going to strike him from the other side but this time she threw in a surprise she tried to knee him as the saber same from the left. She hoped for contact.
@[member="Krest"]

Krest moved towards her. He brought his left hand around, to block her arm, and by extension the saber. But the knee caught him very off guard and it slammed right into his gut. he grunted a bit, taking a couple of steps back, holding his stomach. "G.. Good. Very good, yeah.." He chuckles a bit, pushing himself back into a standing position. @[member="Lauren Walsh"]

She smiled a bit surprised that she hit him. She hadn't expected to catch him off guard. " Are you ok?" The healer part of her asked "Do you need anything?" She asked suddenly appearing to be the girl hidden under it all, the one that cared for those that were hurt. and had been by her mothers side helping heal the wounded. The side she had failed to hide.
@[member="Krest"]

Krest held up a hand, nodding. "Yeah, I'm alright. That was a good blow. But I think I have an understanding now. Get into a ready stance." He stands back up,his eyebrow twitching a bit before he set his hands behind his back again. His stomach smarted, but it would fade. For now, he wanted to teach @[member="Lauren Walsh"] basic forms.

She tried her best to get in what she thought was a ready stance which was legs spread apart and the saber extended towards Krest, " like this?" She asked with a questioning look. She didn't know if this indeed was what he wanted. She was just glad he was teaching her. She had to admit that it was sort of crazy stripping for him like she had, but well he hadn't left her much choice. the clothes she had arrived in were not meant to be worked in.
@[member="Krest"]

Krest nods slow. "Very good. Now, put you're dominant foot behind the other, but keep your feet spread as they are. Once you do that, I want you to step forward and swing the blade overhead." A simple slash, but everyone needed to start somewhere. Krest watched from a distance then, his eyes tracing all of @[member="Lauren Walsh"]'s movements.
