The Force had been needling her.

Even while Vilka was still on Crait, she could feel it tugging her somewhere. So when she got back on the ship, she immediately quieted down to listen what it had to say. While the ship left the salt planet, the Sephi was opening her mind, allowing the tugging to let her See what it needed.

Just as they entered hyperspace, the vision finally presented itself.

It was a child's face swimming before her. A boy no older than sixteen. There was a determination within the vision, but there was also a calling. She felt a hidden part of him calling out to the Galaxy to belong. To not be passed around anymore. To finally have his gifts mean something. Yet it all was distorted in a way, as if there was a disconnect somewhere. But the Force directed her to his location nonetheless. The Rimward insignia drifted into perspective for a moment before melting into a bustling street of all manner of dissidents that do not conform to the norms of the Galaxy. She followed a glowing a ribbon through the streets but before she reached the destination, a bright light flashed.

Sky-clad eyes flew open.

She knew where they had to go. It wasn't one of the cryptic visions she often got. The Force seemed relatively insistent with this one, drawing her to one of the only old Rimward haunts still free of Sith control.

The Seer got to her feet and headed for the bridge.
"Captain, I do apologise for requesting this, but we have to make a detour before heading home." she said as she approached Captain Khar of the Koboh Planetary Defence Force.
"Where do you need to go, Master Jedi?" he asked her.
"Toshara, Captain. If you please. We can refuel there as well." she answered him.
"Very well, Ma'am, we'll adjust the coordinates." he said.
"Thank you."

Soon, they lurched out of Hyperspace, the outlaw planet drawing rapidly closer as they descended. The pull of the Force was growing ever stronger, the closer they got. It didn't take long for them to eventually land.

While the crew saw to the ship, Vilka and her droid Shamyu took to the streets. The Jedi Master followed the thread of the Force like a bloodhound, seeking the face she had Seen. It grew stronger and stronger as she kept following until finally....

The square was bustling, her blue eyes scanning the faces. He had to be here somewhere.

Tribunal Station felt like a second home to Cailen by the time he'd earned enough credits to leave, but he could only deny the will of the Force for so long before he got nervous about upsetting it. The Force rarely spoke to him since Tython, with callings like this being few and far between. It was wise not to let it go unanswered.

After repairing his NJO-issue X-wing and trading it in for a less recognizable ship, he was finally ready to depart. Chatting up veteran Judges in the cantina had yielded some pretty good information, but the leads he'd gathered were loose. He'd end up visiting a dozen worlds or more just to follow up on what he'd learned on Tribunal station alone, let alone anything he found out in the field. Cailen sighed, looking over a datapad in the cabin of his freighter, which he dubbed the "Loth Cat."

"Sevarcos... that one's in Sith space, now," he muttered, crossing it off his list. "Too dangerous."

There was Trendivar, which he'd been told was home to pirates, and Castilon, which was covered in oceans. Cailen scratched his neck, wishing he'd saved some credits to fix up the Loth Cat's cabin filter. Just knowing that the air had been recirculating for months on end made him grimace. He supposed he'd have to get used to it, though. Few worlds in the Outer Rim had the same comforts as Coruscant. It was odd how quickly one acclimated to luxuries like air conditioning and hot meals. Back home on Anaxes, Cailen's family suffered hard times where they often had to choose between being fed or being cool.

Cailen thumbed over the dusty datapad, stopping when the tip of his finger landed on a small moon not terribly far from Tribunal Station.

"Toshara," the teen said to himself. Something about it sent off a little zing in his mind, prompting him to hop up from his bed and head for the cockpit. His companion, a skittish pit droid named D4-RT, raised its head with curiosity as its friend passed by. "We're heading for the Toshaal system, Dart," Cailen explained. The idea was not protested; poor Dart had been fending off curious Jawas since they arrived on the station.

The little droid powered up and joined Cailen in the front of the ship. "It's a short jump. Shouldn't take long, and there's a port in a city called..." he trailed off, glancing at the datapad. "Mirogana."

"The Judges said it used to be a shadowport during the old Imperial era, then it was ran by Pykes for awhile before becoming a League outpost. Now it's a free city ran by some ex-RTL captain named Denno." Dart bleeped monotonously, just happy to be going anywhere but the belly of a sandcrawler. "I know, buddy," Cailen said, giving the droid a friendly pat on its domed head.

Without any loose ends to tie up or goodbyes to say, nothing else was stopping the two travelers from making their way. Cailen powered the Cat's engines and when he was clear, he spooled the hyperdrive. He threw his boots up on the dash and put both hands behind his head, stretching out like some corpo bigwig in his office. There were so many thoughts and feelings rushing through his mind as the stars stretched out before him. He'd left everything behind, abandoned his post in the NJO to scour the Outer Rim for the source of a faint hum in the Force that may very well be nothing at all but a trick of the mind.

Or, it could be the key to everything. The only way to know for sure was to find it, and that journey would start in Mirogana.

Which, to his surprise, was much busier than expected.

The port was constructed in a wide channel carved into a mountainous boulder by Toshara's winds. It was by no means the largest city in former League space, but Mirogana was nothing to balk at. It was divided into two main sections: the lower half where most residences were, and the upper portion (which was actually mostly inside the boulder itself) where shops, cantinas, and trading squares could be found aplenty.

"Let's start here," Cailen said, pointing at a glowing map kiosk. The Market District would certainly have plenty of places to ask around for information, and if nothing else, he could load up on supplies before heading off for another one of the Judge's proposed worlds. Dart tapped its feet excitedly, walking right behind the young Jedi as they walked into the city.
