Eyna
Heavenshield

Crap, she was messing it up from the get-go. There was a smile there, but Eyna had seen smiles like it before. And that name, the Heavenshield name, caused Eyna’s stoneface to crack into something somewhat resembling someone who was surprised. The name did scratch at the back of the mind her still, but something inside of her in the last few days had seemed to calm her.
A moment of silence passed. Why did the conversation go quiet…
“Oh!” Eyna exclaimed and cleared her throat. “Right. I am Eyna. I think. Maybe. I- I don’t know.”
And that was the truth. The name Eyna was more of something chosen out of convenience, whether or not that was her actual name remained very much up for debate. The girl stepped aside to look over in the direction that Alva was looking only to find herself looking in the direction of Thurion and the other children.
“It’s a long story.” Technically not, but it certainly was one of those that ought to be. Eyna considered what to share. Alva’s last name was Heavenshield, so it wasn’t all that unlikely that Eyna would run into her again, right? Unless Heavenshield was a common name amidst the Silvers. Though she was fairly certain that it wasn’t. “I was offered to stay on Midvinter by Master Coci while we try to work through it.”
“Are you one of the students here?” The stoneface that Eyna had put on seemed to crack just a little more as she gave the other girl a genuinely curious look over. “You don’t seem to have one of those little tags on you.”
