In the short time they had been there, storm clouds had moved and broke open above them. Ra grabbed the basket she had brought and when Jim offered his jacket as a cover, they dashed across the plaza to shelter under the statue there.
He apologized for not checking the weather and she just gave him a bit of a shrug before speaking.
"I'm sweet, but not that sweet, my friend. A little rain isn't going to cause me to melt."
Looking out around the statue, she looked up at the sky. The clouds were just that, nothing dangerous and just rain.
"How long does a storm like this usually last?"
The rain got heavier and she had to speak louder to be heard over the downpour.
