James Justice
Charting new Paths
James felt Ave give his arm a squeeze and felt a murmur of something through his Force Empathy. Ordinarily he wouldn't have noticed since his mind was elsewhere, but physical contact intensified the experience. Uncertainty. Doubt. Fear? He lifted the thought behind the touch like an ink-blot on paper; Did I do something wrong?
Ah, he understood now. His hand wrapped around her waist moved a little lower and gave her butt a gentle and not-so-subtle squeeze. Did that get the message across? It didn't matter, he left nothing to chance, at least not usually. He leaned in and planted a kiss on her neck right bellow her ear. A linger, gentle kiss, his warm breath laced with sweet cigarette smoke brushing on her skin before he turned his attention to the fellow before him. Time to get down to business.
"Because, mate I recognize that look," he said before taking a puff from his cigarette. Sweet-smelling smoke waffed from his lips as he spoke, "Name's Captain James Justice, head of Justice Shipping."
James was sure that statement needed no expounding; their company had their fingers stretched far across the galaxy. They moved many goods for more companies than he knew to count, and honestly, that was fine with him. The more they had, the better it would be. Guns, spice, droids, food, technology parts, legal or illegal, they did it. Everything but slaves. And not to mention, their growing work as privateers and mercenaries.
"I been a spacer long enough meself to know what it looks like when ye get a raw deal," he said with a wink, "If ye need or want steady employment, we can always use more like ye."
