Private A ruinous find

He snorted at that response, that anger. Where was that anger when Osam allowed humans and all weak ilk into their ranks, when was that anger when the Nether offered him a boon in place of his will to live. Questions that sat in the bowel of his mind, things that would be pointless to ask. Tathra did not believe that Sethrak knew the answers, he was a wild thing. A Drael of limited discipline, puny, emotional. Tathra could feel himself leaving the moment, his paw tightening around Sethraks neck. Perhaps some of those attributes belonged to others than the undead Warlord. The Titan inhaled deeply, sighing as he released his hold of him. Such mercy was difficult for both of them, but Tathra did not have the privilege of taking pieces off the board at his whim.

Myka. Neti. Novatar. Akhenaton. Vaydralen. Ungulloi. Thrum'dral.

They were all pieces on the board. These species were pawns to be disposed of in the end, all would be set right. Sethrak was simply an addition to that list. Still, though, the Warlord would get to spend his numbered days serving at the will of a God. He would be a precise tool, and Tathra believed himself magnanimous for his wise and merciful choice. It was more than his underling deserved, but it was the only path left for him. There was nothing else. Sethrak was still a Drael, and a capable, experienced warrior.

"I killed Galak with my own two hands, Sethrak. He betrayed me, caused - all of this." Hate and sadness filled his voice as he gestured about the empty, damaged throne room.

"It is my only regret that I could not slaughter that Sraelvun fool too. But you and I, we will see the Draelvasier reborn. Stronger than ever before." He recalled the day Galak spoke for Osam to the Ish'makra, believing that the Sraelvun was worthy of more and thinking he could be RISEN. Nonsense.

The Titan cursed himself for ever listening. He should've known then. Unlike them, Sethrak always seemed to have a great love for their people. That, the Titan could not ignore. That could be used to push him further. The Titan turned on his heel, picking up the sceptre. With an extended paw, he offered the haft to the Warlord.

"I have a mission for you, Warlord Sethrak. But first, we must gather the Warlords. Tame the remnant, and secure control of what remains of our people. Only together, we can do this. Go out and find what covens you can. Bring them to Briaga IX."
