THE UNDEFEATED
Darvix sat alone in the Sith Academy, Nexus had left to deal with something personally. However, he would return soon. Darvix felt so conflicted, he was going against everything the Jedi had taught him. But, what he saw. What he felt when his new Master cut down all he knew and everything that mattered to him, that changed him forever. He couldn't go back, the darker path was his choice. His new Master, was stronger than any Jedi he had ever met and he wanted to be as strong as him, he would be obedient. He would bide his time, and when he could. He would strike, and take Nexus' place as a Sith Lord. He would avenge his old Master.
A single tear left the boys eye, his destiny uncertain. He was so very lost, however he found standing as Nexus entered the room. His massive form towering over the boy, Darvix had been tasked with studying the different forms of Lightsaber combat and tasked with choosing three to study and create a fighting style from them. "Yes, master. I have chosen the forms, Shien, Soresu and Ataru, which I already have experience with." Nexus nodded, "Good. I have been given combat saber droids for you to practice against. There are 15 within my allowance, however I believe it be best we stick to one at a time so early into your training." Darvix remained silent, and simply nodded. "Let's sharpen your abilities in Soresu, your defense is just as important as your offense." Darvix bowed, "As you wish, my Master."
With the flick of a finger, a secondary door. Styled like that of a garage door opened and three droids stood. One was bulkier and heavier than the other two, one was thin and tiny and the third was an average build. "These are three rough estimates of what you may come across in your travels." The middle droid, average height came forward, a standard sith saber in its grip. "That's not a training saber, is it?" Darvix asked, the question was almost rhetorical. "Of course not. Now, stand your ground apprentice!" Nexus demanded, clenching his fist as he watched the combat robot move forward. "Your combatant is using Djem So, the most aggressive of the forms. Use your soresu to defend yourself, and strike when necessary."
Darvix moved quickly, keeping light on his feet as he pushed himself into the combat. The droid was a little bit smaller than he was, but that gave him barely any advantage. The fighting continued, when the droid attacked. Darvix shot up his blade in defense and landed a strike where and when he could. Nexus analysed his movement, he was inexperienced and naive; but adapted and learned quickly. He was able to drop the droid eventually and then the next two. However with increasing difficulty. The session left Darvix panting for breath. Nexus wasn't finished, not by a long shot. "Keep panting boy, this is just the beginning."
