A Tricky Predicament

They made it through the grate and into a new building - one that had some type of receiver. And it looked relatively clear of people. Hannah took a breath as she held off the small cramps in her sides that stung. For being so young, Hannah was sure she was in better shape than she thought. "Um, we just need..." She stared at a nearby comms console. "There!"

Despite the pain, her adrenaline kicked in as she ran towards the console. She cracked her fingers as she began to type in a bunch of codes. Some type of code. A code that would hopefully make it to [member="Solan Charr"], her grandpa. Her dad probably couldn't make it... And she wasn't sure if her mom could, either. And so, Grandpa was the only one who could save the day. Hannah crossed her fingers as she slumped against the console. "Now... We wait, I guess..."

To say Solan did not keep tabs on his granddaughter was an... vastly incorrect. The man had suffered more than his fair share of loses and it had made him a bit over protective, This was why he sat in a ship in orbit, his eyes closed and his body leaning back in the chair he sat in. The hold over should just be for food and fuel if he was not wrong, making him worry as time continued to pass but he had Kira there to keep an eye on his mind and keep him from slipping as the dark continued to gnaw at his soul. He twitched a bit, his leg spasm quickly as he felt something cold crawl up his spine, something was wrong. He couldn't figure it out but it made him uneasy.

That was why when he glanced at the news concerning the ship being attacked his heart began to drop like a rock, fingers wrapping coldly around his neck as he stared and could only think about his daughter for a moment there, his little Evania. His hand gripped at the seat as he sat forward and he did not need to say anything before his loyal soldiers turned the ship down towards port. He had to figure out what was going on and he had to make sure that Hannah wasn't hurt. He could feel her, faintly, her being lost among the millions but was she captured, or hurt? He wasn't sure and it made the cold hands at his neck tighten as he found himself breathing more heavily.

Soon though, he would be pushing out of his seat and about to leave when [member="Hannah Charr"] got her message through. Solan stopped, looking at the small, short, and improvised message, the fingers loosening and his shoulders relaxing as he sighed. He was bleeding though, his nose running with a trail of blood, but it wasn't anything worse than that as he reached up and clean the blood from his face. He knew that it might worsen if had to use the force, but that would come in the future, for now he had to find Hannah and with a quick jump from his ship, he vanished into the crowds and started in her and her friend's direction.

Milla sat down beside Hannah and leaned up against the console. She was still somewhat sad that she had to abandon her little home. Though staying there would have been fatal and she knew that. Her eyes turned to Hannah. "So...do you think they'll find us? I mean, this planet is a long way from nowhere."
