"Lock it down Jun." Jaelin quickly one-offed. He wasn't exactly comfortable with the Jedi taking charge, and honestly, it did sting a bit. At the same time; he didn't mind sending a man in ahead of him. It might just save him a good beheading. "Just let the man work." He added quietly, though he gave the Amaran a look that said all the things Rox would have likely wanted to hear.
Levinsky stayed silent through the little confrontation, and instead swept on down the stairs, rifle raised. Jaelin follow close behind, and motioned for the other two to do the same. They came out into a the large circular room; lined with empty shelves and a shattered holoterminal in the center of the room. It seemed to be what might have once been a library picked clean, or an old classroom.
"Not a fan of this." Jaelin grumbled under his breath as he swept his weapon across each shelf. He and Levinsky came to the center of the room, and something growled. Something deep, guttural, and feral.
"Leave." A voice hissed down one of the hallways breaking off from the library room. "Leave and never return!"
The flare suddenly went out, and the room fell back into inky blackness. Jaelin cursed under his breath and flicked the lamp attached to his rifle on. The pale white light shot down toward the hallway--just in time to make the two massive Tuk'ata at its entrance visible. They both barked, and darted off into different directions in the room. Levinsky quickly flipped on his own lamp.
"Dogs...tighten up or they'll pick you off." He almost whispered.
The sound of paws scratching against the floors could be heard; both circling the group. The Tuk'ata were likely somewhere near the shelves. The two rifleman turned this way and that, trying to catch the beasts in the light of their lamps, but to no avail.
