Abafar Exploration

Abafar is a desert planet situated in the Outer Rim with a totally white surface. Known as The Void, the planet is scarcely populated yet is home to colossal measures of rhydonium, an extremely elusive and risky and shaky fuel. Many abandoned Clone Troopers lived there.

Mike was curious if anyone was still living on the planet. He set his Scimitar to the location. It would be a very bumpy ride, but Mike was used to it by now.

Salis had come with Mike, though in her own ship, he was a fascinating individual. And while she fully realized she technically outranked him, and probably had more skill, it was still amusing to hang out around him and see where things went. Particularly after the dealing with a Holocron, she had to see where things would go.

Mike landed his ship onto the planet's surface. He felt a prescence in the force. He completely ignored it as he walked off the Scimitar. He was completely free and happy. No master to guide him. No wars or missions to deal with. This was what Mike liked most. He liked his master and his friends, but he loved to be in the shadows. Not a sound.

When Mike saw another ship landing, he was really shocked. He wondered who it was pilotinging. Mike went to the landing platform and waited to see who it was.

Iniquitous flew her First Order shuttle through the rough atmosphere of Abafar the sandy atmosphere clogged the barrels on her ships cannons but she wasn't concerned she doubted she would be using them today. She took great care as to where she landed she didn't wish to ignite some of the fuel and blow up half the planet in the process.

But she wasn't here for the fuel, While traveling through wild space she sensed two particularly powerful force wielders in the general vicinity and decided to investigate. She landed her craft on a nearby landing platform and prepared herself for what awaited her on the other side of her door. The door fell open the sound of pressurized air hissing as she exited her robe chasing behind her.

She stepped onto the platform and sensed another being close...really close for that matter. She turned her head to see another man seemingly surprised at her arrival, She smiled energetically.

"Why hello there! You know its not nice to spy on people."

She began to walk up on the man not even showing a sliver of fear for the events that may ensue because of her actions.

"Why you could give someone a heart attack! Just be glad you weren't closer or I might've taken out yours."

She crouched down to reach the mans level as at around 7ft she towered over most of her associates.

Mike did not expect this person to come. He hoped that he would not be rude. He thought that it was [member="Salis"] for some reason. They really liked rping together.

"I am sorry," said Mike. "I thoght that you were someone else. My name is Mike. Yours?"

Anger was a tool and certainly to Orex. But sat in the cockpit of his ship, his soul was now a boiling pot. And the water was spilling. He was not angry. He was Furious. Orex pursued knowledge violently. No source of history or science escaped him and he allowed nothing to disrupt his pursuit. This was why he was now in a fit of rage. He had recently traveled to the Jen'ari capital where he knew he would find a Holocron. Unfortunately, the Holocron was being protected by a pair of Sith, and they had escaped. But not without having their say with Orex. A kick to the stomach and blast near the feet had left Orex with nothing but a fake cube. He had been tricked and attacked.

This, made him much more than Angry.

He grabbed hold of the Hyperspace Lever and pushed it with strength. As soon as the ship entered hyperspace, Orex sat back and fell into thought.

The two he had encountered were a pair of Sith. One was trained, the other was Easy. In his quest for Students he had quickly identified these two as potential apprentices but their resistance was making things very complicated. Orex was becoming increasingly frustrated with them, almost to the point of completely disregarding their potential and outright making It a priority to kill them. This was the driving factor behind why he was going to Abafar. To bring suffering to them the likes they had never experienced before. What if they Survive? He thought. Well then their appeal as Students would be much greater. But Orex wasn't confident that they would, and so he channeled his anger into his Mask, fuelling the entity that resided within it.

The ship rattled out of Hyperspace and quickly entered the atmosphere of Abafar, igniting the air around it as it did so, making itself look more like a Meteor than a ship. This ended in a rough landing but good enough. As the boarding ramp descended, Orex walked out onto the desert lands, his amour still slightly damaged from his last confrontation. He could feel it again, the Sith, and the Holocron. He was close, and made his way quickly to where he knew it was.

After a few minutes trek across the white sands, Orex came upon a pair. One was a tall, very tall Woman. The other, well, that was Mike. Orex more or less ignored the woman and spoke out to Mike,

"Sith!" He called. Anger flowing through his voice.

"You escaped me once. You will not escape me again."

Orex outstretched his freshly burnt hand,

"The Holocron. Or you will suffer."

An aching pain passed through her sides. Anger, Rage, Hate, pain all were present strongly at a moments notice. It had to be another force user no doubt about it but this was...astounding. To posses such dark side emotion was previously foreign to her but now Iniquitous could feel the intensity of what it meant to be one with the dark side.

It was as if the force itself was in agony inside of his person...Please to god let it not be Kyrel Again. There were more important matters now this man wished to know her identity and he seemed powerful enough, Perhaps this wouldn't be as easy as anticipated.

"My identity is of no concern to you. Now some of us have actual work to be done so if you'll excuse me kind sir."

She continues on her own endeavor only to hear shouting coming from a distance they seemed to be at least 20 meters away.

"AH!"

This pain it was terrible like a fire burning away at you. Then it all clicked, The meteor in the sky, The man shouting threats from across the way. This man must be the entity she sensed and that was dangerous to say the least. She turned her attention to him just barely making out his disfigured face and hand through the glint from the sun reflecting off the white sand.

The pain was increasing in valor by the second, It wasn't just physical it was mental. Iniquitous grunted in silence and spoke.

"If i die because that guy over there rigged this platform to blow or something I'm going to be the only thing you have to worry about in hell!"

Her threats were usually idle but this time she was serious she might actually find a way to track him down in the afterlife if she dies. Never mind that though it was time to confront this assailant.

"Assailant, Your efforts are in gratuity to the galaxy."

She paced her way up to the man in question and looked down upon him...literally. She scanned his face with her palm and cocked a sly smile.

"But mine are the very face of existence."

Salis had been taking her time finding a spot to land down, until she felt a presence, and until she saw the man, Orex, approach. The tall woman she didn't really expect to be a threat, or hoped she wouldn't be at least, not that she couldn't be. Orex on the other hand, had already proven what he was. "Take the ship away and come when I call." she ordered her droid leaping out of her ship and landing with grace near Mike, lifting her eyes to Orex, and giving a friendly wave towards the woman before returning her gaze to the man from earlier.

"Here's a proposition. What will you give us for it? Now I'll admit for my friend, he isn't necessarily on par with you. But from what I've seen, we're a lot closer to equals then maybe you'd like to admit. Only we're no longer in the confines of a ship," she held her lightsaber, twirling it in one hand without activating it, "So you have much less of an advantage if you make this a fight. But, perhaps a copy, or a proper deal. Right now, all my desire is telling me to fight you. But, unfortunately, I'd rather my friend not die." she shrugged, leaning on one leg and thinking.

She leaned nearer to Mike, "I do hope you either have a good plan, or are going to go along with this. Because we're either going to need to kill him, or come to an agreement of some sort."

Orex used the Force to click a communicator in his pocket, but it would be a while until that beacon was received. He lowered his Saber when the tall woman approached him, much closer than he was at all comfortable with. Looking up to meet her gaze he began to drain her with the Force,

"A threat I'm inclined to take seriously but this is nothing to do with you. The pair of Sith behind you have a Holocron, and I need it. For the benefit of the Galaxy."

His hand gripped his Sabre tighter as he stared into [member="Iniquitous Ren"]'s eyes. When Salis spoke, Orex allowed a moment to pass before he broke their .. staring contest. He lowered his head and peered past the towering woman to observe the two Sith.

"Hm."

Well.. He did need the followers.

"Give me that Holocron, and perhaps you will live. Not only that.. Perhaps I can offer you something better than both the Sith and the Jen'ari"

Demitrys ship arrived rather late, significantly after Orex's had. He disembarked a few moments before it hit the floor, allowing himself to drop the last few metres. If he was being honest, he really wanted to make a dramatic entry, but also because he was very nervous about being late. "Ah... I remember neither of your names, but I remember your faces... Jen'ari sith." He sneered, instinctively reaching for his lightsaber just in case. He gestured over his shoulder towards Orex. "He can offer you good things. He's been teaching me, and it's quite useful."

His words incline no severe danger but his actions were of pure fire. Her force aurora began to waver as if the power it bestowed was being siphoned by a external source, Force drain a power she was all too familiar with and it was infuriating. If he wished to do battle he would find only death in her wake.

"Well that was uncalled for now wasn't it? I guess i'm going to have to deal with you."

Iniquitous began to surround herself and [member="Orex Mauda"] in a shroud of white sand while simultaneously preventing anyone else from entering her shield it was offensive and defensive. She began to lift the two into the air while electrifying the sand with force lightning.

"Your out of your depth child."

She force pushed the man towards the sand hoping to end this swiftly.

Orex's attention returned to the Woman when she spoke. His eyebrows furrowed when she delivered her threat and he slowly brought his Lightsaber back up between them. Before he could respond, he found himself above the ground within a clear-white bubble. Looking down briefly he could see the sands were crackling with electricity. As he looked up, a blast of air met his gaze and sent him hurtling towards the ground.

Orex's anger was what fuelled him. It was immense and had kept him alive on more than one occasion, but in this moment, it was all he could rely on. He slammed into the sand back-first and immediately felt the electricity breach his flesh. His body tensed up and went into a seizure. He gritted his teeth and began to shout with a closed mouth. Slowly, he struggled to his feet, still shaking as the lightning continued to attack him. In that moment, he outstretched a hand of black charcoal, grabbed [member="Iniquitous Ren"] from the air, and ripped her with all his rage towards the ground. A level playing field. As the lightning began to dissipate, Orex called out to Demitry through a throat still cramping from the currents,

"Gggg.. GET THE .." He struggled through his groans, "GET THE HOLOCRON"

He entered a defensive stance and brought his Sabre in front of him.

Rage surged through her body as she plummeted towards the ground being ripped through a barrier of sand and energy taking a toll on her flesh as it was cut open in certain places the sand adding salt to the wound. Her body slammed against the ground torso first. She audibly groaned as she rose from the ground and spoke under her breath.

"Okay...that was a rib."

Her stature was now hunched over but she was able to keep her composure. She stretched her arm out to her right and summoned her Lightsaber from somewhere inside her ship, It burrowed through the sand at rapid speeds and emerged from under the sand and into her open palm igniting its crimson blade within seconds of grasping its hilt.

"Attack at your own leisure."

Her body assumed a defensive stance and the summoned mounds of sand to consume the man before her her open hand electrifying it. Though he may be skilled with the force his lightsaber skills were at the chopping block. Behind her attack Iniquitous began to use the force to heal her wounds, They were still fresh and potent and couldn't be closed all the way but they were stable.

They had both gone defensive. This created a stalemate that Orex was about to comment on, until sand began to crawl and collect around his feet, then his opponents hand began to crackle. He realised what she was doing and quickly began a sprint forward to escape the sand and charge his enemy. The lightning left her hand but only found its way to Orex's blade.

Orex continued to drain her, pulling her energy and feeding his core with it. Once he was close enough, he gripped his hilt tighter and swung with deliberate force, pushing his anger behind every strike. Following a small number of clashes, the pair entered a brief saber lock. Their blades crackled infront of them and Orex leant in, reaching out to his opponents mind. He frowned, then looked curious,

"Pain.. Anger.." His eyes widened slightly and he leant back, "A Slave."

Mike sw everything that was going on. He was shocked and scared at the same time. He hoped that everything would be ok. He gotten an idea and stood between all of them.

"Stop it!" yelled Mike. " [member="Iniquitous Ren"] , I barely know you,but this is not your fight. [member="Demitry Draskovits"] , I do not know why you are even here or what team you are on. [member="Salis"] and I are just some people that found a Sith Holocron. [member="Orex Mauda"] , I want to make a del with you. You quit this war with us and we WILL show you the holocron and the message with our supervision. You let US keep the holocron. Is that a deal everyone?"

Demitrys eyes widened as he was lifted from the ground, however he managed to not panic. He seemed strangely unaffected by the lightning, or was very good at hiding the effects on him. As they flew towards the ground, he managed to break the fall with the force at the last moment. He stood, wavering for a moment to make sure he was okay and then he did as Orex instructed and started forward immediately, using the force to further enhance his speed as he ignited one of his lightsabers. He sprung towards Mike V'Techen immedietely, grinning. "It's my fight now, isn't it? And I'll help answer that question, not yours." He reached out with the force to try and violently twist Mike's wrist. "Give us the holocron." He stopped his leap before he reached them, settling into a fighting stance.

Mike was not prepared in getting his hand yanked. It hurt him. He was just trying to be nice and make a deal, but the lacky wanted a fight. Mike knew something that no one else did not know except him. The Holocron was locked up secure in a TJE vault. There would be no way to give it to them, even if he tried. Mike did not have a plan, so he ignited his red double-bladed lightsaber and went to defence.

"[member="Orex Mauda"] ," said Mike. "Do you agree with your lacky or are you going to stop this madness?"

Salis practically cheered as [member="Iniquitous Ren"] attacked Orex, "Yeah! You go, lady, awesome." She was neutral about Mike's plan, it was perfectly acceptable and she believed if all parties agreed, all would be well. But while Iniquitous Ren fought [member="Orex Mauda"], the man called for his amigo to attack, someone who seemed supportive of basically taking what Orex had to offer, but someone Salis fully realized would be up for attacking.

And so he did, [member="Demitry Draskovits"] came for [member="Mike V'Trechen"] and the fight had truly broken out. All parties were involved, without a word Salis amplified her physical abilities, and especially her speed, using the force and launched towards Demitry before he could attack Mike again, using Ataru to move down, up and around, all the while her saber staff sent swift strikes towards him from various angles and as two throwing knives flew off her and twirled around the air to jab at Demitry's back, they were relatively weak in power and accuracy, but their speed and additional distraction might give Salis the worthwhile additional attack. Only after those attacks did she leap back, the blades returning and hovering in the air near her whatever the results may be, "Come now, I do so love a good fight." she said grinning behind the mask.

Iniquitous was staggering, [member="Orex Mauda"]'s strikes were quick and powerful, But mostly they were full of pure rage. His attacks were wearing down her defensive capabilities and when they entered saber lock she was practically gasping for breath. Then he spoke she could feel his power seeping into her mind tearing apart her psyche looking for information.

This coupled with his unwavering force drain was jabbing at her composure something she kept pride in, This only proved to fuel her anger and pain he knew of her past now she could not let him simply walk away. She disengaged from his saber lock and leaped a good distance away. She shot lightning at the man mid-Air and landed elegantly on her feet.

Her eyes glinted and a flash of yellow passed through them.

"Well it seems that we have a slave trait in common."

She mustered the most powerful force push she could drawing on the force energy from everyone else in the area. She shot it forth causing force lightning to engulf her body.

"But i must say im impressed with your brutality in killing your master.

[member="Iniquitous Ren"] pulled away from the lock, leapt and fired lightning at Orex. Out of instinct, he outstretched his palm to meet the currents. He was used to less powerful shots, but the Woman was much more powerful than most he had encountered. Instead of simply dissipating into his charcoal flesh, the Lightning breached his hand and coursed through his arm, up to his shoulder. Orex let out a shout, but before he could retaliate, he was sent flying across the sands, landing first on his legs and then falling onto his back at tremendous speed. Iniquitous spoke as he got to his feet.

"I don't have to kill you. Your power is not exploited properly. The Knights do nothing but serve as grunts to a Supreme Leader" Orex finally got his feet and gripped his Sabre.

"Join me. Let me show you a future much greater than the one you know."

The back of Orex's Half-Mask began to spark, his Vocoder failing and detuning his voice.
