"He's right," Amani told hold of her gown and curtsied in a royal manner,
"I expect no less than a deep bow any time I enter a room," She grinned playfully,
"But no, I wouldn't expect you to treat me any differently now," Maybe the more traditional types would disagree, but she wasn't exactly traditional Alderaanian nobility. Lording a title over everyone else wasn't something this Countess intended to enforce, certainly not on her friends and peers.
Alex, Maeve, and Alora offered their well wishes, and Amani dipped her head in appreciation,
"Thank you all, really. It's been wonderful. I hope you're all enjoying yourselves?" Given they were gathered around the bar, she assumed that might be the case. Thelma was noticed, and if the padawan happened glance her way, Amani would give her a pleasant, if somewhat subdued smile. She couldn't blame Thelma if she was perhaps a bit upset about being recommended for a role other than healer, but given that her efforts with the power literally seemed to sap the girl's life away, it was the only logical decision Amani could make with the information given. At least she was here, if not necssarily for Amani's sake.
Jasper spoke up again, reminded of the gift he had been holding. The bride opened it up, revealing the purified crystal inside. She smiled,
"It's lovely, Jasper, thank you. Did you purify this?" At his own question, her grin widened, and she tugged on Alicio's arm,
"Wellll after this we'll be off to our honeymoon. For which we have yet to decide on a destination," She turned to her husband,
"I'm thinking somewhere with a beach. Lake or ocean, doesn't matter to me."
"You'll always have my vote, love."
"I know," Amani hummed, touching her forehead to his. Today had been even more perfect than she could have imagined. The ceremony and the reception both had brought a measure of joy she was quite certain she had never felt before, and would never forget any time soon. The best day of her life. And going forward, she'd be spending the rest of that life with Alicio by her side.
"What's next for us?" She glanced around at the partygoers, nodding in the direction of the first senator she recognized,
Desric Terassi
, and those around him,
"Care to go talk with some folks more your speed?" Of course, some of those folks were still Jedi. But close enough.
