  • In the chaos of various factions and the armors they provide, the Phase I Haywire Armor does not stand out and is perfect for simple blending in a crowd, even one of combatants.
  • The Spidershell Silk and the TYI Flex Armor ensure a high resistance against lightsabers, blasters, and slugs.
  • The Baffleweave weaved into the armor's material has a high probability of jamming sensors.
  • The Arginium ensures those who wear this armor will function well when facing areas with radiation.
  • Armor supports mobility and quick movement.
  • The boots include FrictionGrip coating, which will help avoid slippage.
  • Armor includes two different shields that can be enabled with the press of a button; the first being a molecular shield, and the second a shield that can deflect sonic and EMP/ION attacks, but only while it is enabled.

  • If the Faraday Cage is not enabled, a good EMP/ION attack could ensure it will never be enable-able, as well as destroy the commlink attacked to the suit.
  • The suit doesn't offer much protection from the Force.
  • The armor offers ample protection to many common forms of weaponry, but it lacks intensive electrical subsystems such as advanced sensors or an HUD.

Soon after she received her standard issue Phase I Haywire Armor, Hanna set to work on modifying the suit to expand its protective qualities and to add additional utility systems. Seeking to improve her ability to counter sonic-based weaponry, Hanna incorporated an anti-sonic overlay into the suit that strengthens her resistance to the deleterious effects of sonic wave exposure, which include hearing damage, organ rupture, and disorientation. Hanna also sought to improve her mobility in the field. As such, she added a wrist-mounted liquid cable launcher which she can use to quickly ascend vertical structures such as tall buildings, cliff faces, tress, and more. In order to repel rapidly closing hostile combatants, she installed a wrist-mounted repulsor device which can project a shockwave capable of pushing individuals backwards. Finally, she added additional survival equipment to her utility belt.

  • Personal Shield Negation: The bolts of the Iconoclast Heavy Pistol have a unique energy frequency which falls outside the protective range of all types of ray shields (molecular shields, anti-energy fields and Xythan force shields), particle shields, and concussive barriers.

  • Extreme Armor Destruction Potential: The Iconoclast Heavy Pistol is potent anti-power armor weapon. The bolts capable of burning through, flash melting, and thermally degrading even the most exotic armor types, such as beskar, impervium, phrik, and many other materials of extreme resilience. Upon impact, the bolts may also cause an explosion with a roughly 1 meter radius.

  • Extreme Organic Damage Potential: The superheated energy bolts of the Iconoclast Heavy Pistol can potentially trigger spontaneous thermal disintegration when they come into contact with unprotected organic matter. In layman’s terms, the weapon can blow a hole into unprotected or lightly protected organic targets while causing an explosion with a roughly 1 meter radius.

  • Slow Rate of Fire: The Iconoclast has a very slow rate of fire, even when compared to other weapons of its class. At minimum, a single second must pass between shots. As such, when fired at the maximum rate of fire, it takes ten seconds to deplete the power cell, during which the weapon can successfully discharge five shots.

  • Prolonged Reload: The Iconoclast Heavy Pistol has a much longer reload than typical for weapons of its class.

  • High Recoil: The Iconoclast has somewhat severe recoil, which is slightly mitigated due to the weapon’s weight and size. However, the weapon still requires a trained operator to control the recoil between shots.

The Phase IV Iconoclast Heavy Pistol is a product of reverse-engineered First Order anti-shield handheld weapon technology. The pistol is intended to serve as a potent anti-power armor weapon, which is capable of bypassing shields and severely mitigating the protective ability of body armor. On unarmored or lightly-armored targets, the weapon is generally considered to be overkill. As such, its use is reserved for heavily armored or hard-to-kill infantry targets.

Appearance: Shorter than most all, he is .5 meters tall, most of his body is pure metal after "the accident" that changed him. The massive amount of metal that comprises his body means that despite his small size, Puz-glar (working name), is actually very heavy.

Name: Sargent Puglas (He hates it, but Nyree refuses to give it up), Sargent Bark-bark, and mostly any other puns she can think of. To his serious comrades, He goes by
Loyalties: Nyree, those who show themselves loyal to her, Nyree's mother.
Wealth: Puz-glar has earned himself a moderate fortune through his work; however being a gun-for-hire (and a cyborg one at that), is often very expensive and requires constant upgrades, leaving him "middle class."
Notable Possessions: Armor and weaponry, a condo on Defel, a flat on Alderaan, various personal effects.
Skills: Stealth (racial skill), armor and weapon design, sharp-shooting, Engineering, melee and ranged combat.
Personality: Puz-glar is a rugged warrior with a heart of gold. He is self-reliant, tough-minded, and centered on success. Puz-glar relied on himself all his life, and defends his honor as all Defel do with intense vigor. At the same time, Puz-glar is incredibly--mischievous. His hardminded nature has not denied him the ability to come up with rather unorthoxed solutions to problems.

Weapon of Choice: Puz-glar prefers a heavy disruptor rifle when it comes to ranged combat, when they get too close, he relies on the vibroblades built into his armor.
Combat Function: Given that his new, mechanical body is a lot smaller than the organic one that Puz-glar had before, he generally tries to avoid melee combat. He relies heavily on his rifle and speed to keep a distance. When melee is unavoidable, he moves quickly, making his body a hard target to hit and centering on a series of swift, but deadly slices to finish his foe as quickly as he can. In combat Puz-glar is brutal, efficient, and quick. He doesn't waste time. The Defel isn't confined to conventional solutions. He is not above sliding through an airvent to get away and ambush later from behind a bag of flour.

  • Stealth: Defels are natural masters of stealth, they are able to bend light around themselves and disappear. Puz-glar's size makes this only easier for him.
  • Mechanical body: Puz-glar's body is mostly cyborg in nature, making him stronger, more endurant, and more dexterous than he looks. His mechanical body has a lot of punching power and it does not tire out. He can maneuver his hands and limbs with unbelievable agility, adding him in the ability hold his own when needed.
  • Veteran training: Puz-glar has a lifetime of combat and real-time tactical application under his belt. Puz-glar is a seasoned vet of three different tours of duty plus 4 years of spec ops under 2 different militaries before he went into the private sector for 5 years as a mercenary contractor.
  • Master's in Engineering: While Puz-glar is a great fighter, his real joy and love is building things. He loves making structures, designing engines, weapons, and armor. He feels most free to think and in control when designing things. It is a great coping mechanism and--if he could--Puz-glar would do it full time. Unfortunately, there is more money in war and he has three different alimony checks to cut a month.

  • Speed: Puz-glar has a slow running speed. While his legs will not give out, he simply does not have a quick running speed.
  • Scrappy: While some would use the term "Pugnacious" (he hates that), Puz-glar just simply has a chip on his shoulder. He is a fighter, a fight starter, he holds grudges, and is hardly one to forgive quickly. While lovable and loyal war hasn't been kind to the Defel warrior. Puz-glar is rough around the edges and doesn't make friends too easily.
