Ah Know Dis Is Fruitful - ME Dominion of Anobis Hex Y-23

Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii
Mig nodded at [member="Beth Cadera"] 's idea. It was really the only thing they could do other then watch the crowd and hope that they would spot him. He looked around, then spoke quietly.

"Yeah. It's that or just try to watch an entire crowd." Then that [member="Fedrig"] spoke up about the plan after offering Beth some ice for the bruise that was probably forming right about now. He wondered how they would be able to track this changling. A tracker could work, but he was right. Placing it on sneakily would be a challenge. Mig heard him about to speak before he could sense another come up. He looked to see a large, wolf-like being walk up to be practically on top of Beth, he reacted for a split second before sensing a bond between them. One had felt with only one species before. A Gurlanin. Noticed that the half-Eldorai seemed to be speaking the the Gurlanin, so Mig looked over to Fedrig.

"Well, if he helps us we may not even need a tracker."

[member="Gaius Cadera"]

Beth gave [member="Fedrig"] a smile. Really, it wasn’t his fault. Her skin naturally bruised and hurt easily. She was cursed genetically with it, and it was something she was mostly used to. Heck, even her best fitting beskar’gam bruised her if her body pressed too hard one way or another. “Oh, no worries,” she said with a smile. “It’s… Genetic. No worries, I’m Beth.

She gave a nod and then a small chuckle at Fedrig’s comments. “Yeah, probably would be a bit hard for you to be able too." But, she motioned him in to whisper, “I’m going to get a purse full of stuff, act really out of it, and maybe they’ll target me and voila.” It seemed a bit too easy, honestly.

Sorry, I kinda got inducted into a Gurlanin pact- it’s a long story,” she said with a sigh. “Yeah, might could enlist him. Put a tracker in the purse, too.”

Objective A: have some fun
[ooc]This is my first time writing in the first person so it will be a bit rough.[/ooc]

Celebrations are lovely I've been told, not that I've seen it. This world is beautiful best I can tell and I hope that when I leave it will still be that way. Crowds aren't my thing since the incident at the palace on Mandalore. He looks down at his cybernetic arm. I liked crowds once, and look where it got me. He begins to wander on the outskirts of the city generally keeping to himself. Peace is always a nice feeling, usually, the only peace for my men and I is sleep, this world is wrapped in peace for the moment and it feels lovely. He pulls out a small leather-bound journal and sits down and begins to write. I have done a great many things in this life of mine, I wish to begin to tell my side of the story so that history may judge me fairly once I am gone. Oh my, I wish I could give myself a break from the worry and the stress. Once I finish my writing I will endeavor to relax.

Objective: B

Click. Click. Click.

The sound of black heels clicked, echoed through the hallway. She adorned a black suit - professional, prepared along with her hair tied into a professional bun. The window to her left showed the bright lights of the city, of the festival. Her serious face hid a small tug of her lips as she thought about the last time she was in a festival. How many years had it been, then? 6-7? She wasn’t even sure anymore. Wow, how time flew by…

In either case, Cassiopeia was here for a very specific reason. Negotiate the terms of the annexation of Anobis from Anobian officials – who had recently stopped fighting and destroying their planet between themselves. Likely the government was unstable, considering it was only recently united. Mandalorians would be able to provide some stability, while providing enough autonomy that there wouldn’t be much resistance from local naysayers.

Two unarmed guards walked behind her – one pushed a hover cart which contained gifts from the Mand’alor, three datapads, and various baked goods that Cassiopeia herself had baked on her way to Anobis. She checked a watch on her hand. She was cutting it a bit close, but hopefully [member="Adenn Kyramud"] would already be ready to go into the negotiations room.

Despite the chaos and destruction, the planet endured, the capital building was a marvelous building. Really, the planet would be a great addition to the Clans.

She entered the to the lobby and was directed by local officials to the meeting chambers. A fairly large, resounding room with a high ceiling. A round table sat in the middle, with the Mandalorian flag and the Anobis flag sculpted into the wood. She smiled – that was pretty cute on their part, in truth. The second time she had been in diplomatic negotiations since the death of one of her twins. She took a deep breath and exhaled. She had this. Who couldn’t say no to her muffins, brownies, and sugary goodies afterall?

Following the officials, she stopped to admire the room right in front of her designated seat. Adenn would likely be here in a minute, escorted by the same officials.

Mig looked over at [member="Beth Cadera"] , thinking about how to do this.

"Agreed. Let's get everything set." And with that, Mig quickly got ready. He took up a position where he could watch Beth, while staying mostly out of sight. He was a bit worried for some reason. He never really liked using "life bait" to get a target, but they didn't have much choice. He looked over to where his friend was, quickly tapping his comms.

"Good luck. Hope this works."

@Gaius Cadera [member="Fedrig"]

[camera view looking down to them]
Adenn was indeed being escorted by officials, one official was in front of Adenn, and two were behind him. All of them looked uneasy, as if nervous or even scared. The reason isn't immediately known, until one looks at Adenn. He, well... he's a walking armory. Along with that, he hadn't said a single word to them so far. They had tried to strike up some conversation, just asking what would happen; Adenn didn't say anything, merely staring at them. Eventually they had stopped, merely escorting him to the meeting room. There the first official opened the door for Adenn while the other two nervously glanced to each other. There, Adenn stopped and glanced to them and said ominously
"It's been fun boys." before chuckling and entering the door. He left behind the three, now scared, officials while the door closed behind him.

[now with Adenn]
Adenn chuckled to himself while entering the meeting room. It had been fun for him to mess around with the three officials, sadly though, now he had to get to boring old politics. At that thought, Adenn sighed to himself and looked around the room. Immediately he noted Cassiopeia(Cassi) the guard with the hovercart and the three officials of Anobis. They sat in three seats next to the flag of Anobis, while Cassi's seat was under the Mandalorian flag. Adenn merely looked to the three officials to tell that they had been calm; now they were nervous, it seemed that they had seen the three officials outside. Smirking at that, Adenn made his way over to Cassi.

Once he arrived next to Cassi, he simply said
"Su cuy'gar vod. Glad we can work together." Then leaning forward to whisper in her ear, "You be good cop, I'll be bad cop. That way they'll take your offers more easily."

After that, he turned to the delegates, Adenn slowly made his way over to them. Adenn had never met them before, but he had learned and heard about them. There were three of them in total, two humans and one Zabrak. Their names were Oswiva Hychtar, Bartsu Keesut and Jimmy Johnson. That's also how they were sitting, from left to right. As Adenn made his way to them, they shuffled about in their chairs glancing at each other and back at Adenn. Two steps later, Adenn was right in front of them. There, he offered his hand in a handshake to each of them. They took the handshake haltingly and had their hands nearly crushed by Adenns strong grip. He then spoke with an evident grin

"Glad that you lot decided to meet with us. I'm sure that this will be most, fruitful. I'm Adenn Kyramud, I'll let her" pointing at Cassi "introduce herself."
With that said, Adenn spun on his heal and walked back to the chair. He spun it around then sat down and rested his arms on the back rest, next to Cassi. There he nodded to her, before motioning to the delegates to begin.

[delegates]
The delegates were nervous, not only that, it seemed that Oswiva was scared. After all, it wasn't every day that one had someone like Adenn come to them. They had thought this would be easy, talk to the pretty girl, convince her that what they wanted was better than what she wanted. In fact, Jimmy had been thinking about intimidating her a bit. Why, not even he knew, just that he wanted to. Now, now their plans were in ruins and they had to go with the flow. Looking at each other, they nodded before Jimmy spoke up.

"Well then. Um... we're glad that you came here. First off, welcome to Anobis, our wonderful little world. We hope that you had a good trip here, and that the people were nice to you." Adenn chuckled at that, receiving a semi frightened look from Bartsu. "So, well, we're wondering what it is you want. After all, we just had a civil war and, well now not much is left. What is there for you here. Because we won't be slaves to you." Receiving a tilted head from Adenn at that, Jimmy spoke again and misinterpreted Adenns motion. "Well umm... not unless we have to."

The other two delegates nodded at that. They glanced at each other once more before looking to Cassi. Then they looked towards Adenn, only receiving a stare in return. His impassive T-visor helmet continuing to make them nervous. Shaking themselves from it though, they looked to Cassi awaiting a reply.

Beth quickly got into position – first, she’d buy a big ole’ purse and a bunch of crap to make it seem like it was an ideal target. A bright, hot pink colored purse. It was out of place, despite the celebration. And then she stuffed it with a variety of goods.

Thank goodness her father gave her an unlimited credit chip… All the prices were so inflated, it was robbery!

Next she ‘faded’ into the ground, ensuring the bag looked as appetizing as possible. “Confirm, can hear you. See anyone yet?” She tried her best to look suspicious herself. Like she was just walking around, enjoying the sights, occasionally playing some of the various games that were being offered by various vendors.

[member="Mig Gred"]

Cassiopeia took the moment to enjoy the view of the room. She would need this quiet, soft, moment to think and process what she would say and do. She had done extensive research of the planet and its history prior to arriving. But, that never quite could teach someone what a potential diplomat might say or do.

Cassiopeia gave Adenn a bright, happy smile. She reached over and gave his shoulder a couple pats, “Su cuy’gar, it’s an honor.” She perked a brow and did the slightest of nods. That wouldn’t be too hard – Cassiopeia was naturally a nice person. Or, at least, she thought she was. Hmm… Maybe she should ask some random people what they thought about her.

She gave a bright, happy smile as the delegates arrived. It seemed pretty representational – humans and a Zabrak. She remembered their names from her notes – Oswiva, Bartsu, and Jimmy. It was kind of funny, the names. She watched as Adenn introduced himself to the delegates and gave them a handshake. He was going to do well in the bad cop, part. Cassiopeia nodded her approval. Looked like he was going to be a pro.

Cassiopeia followed after him, with her own handshakes. “It’s a fantastic pleasure to be here, to meet with you, and discuss the future of Mandalorian-Anobian relations. I am Cassiopeia Australis-Caranthyr, of Clan Australis, Wue’gi’vod, and one of the representatives for Mand’alor the Infernal for our talks today. Please know I have brought gifts from the Mandalorian Clans, along with several datapads of information to prove how valuable a Mandalorian presence would be. The treats themselves were baked by me - and believe me, they are absolutely a delight.”

She gave a smile and a nod as she sat down at the table, then crossed her legs. She listened as they spoke – carefully analyzing each word, preparing a reply. She resisted a smile at how nervous the diplomats were of Adenn.

She gave a nod, listening. “We are looking to place Anobis under the Clans of Mandalore protection. Firstly, let me clear something up – the Mand’alor has made it clear, repeatedly, that slavery is an abomination that will never occur under her reach. This includes all Anobians – you are free. Free will of your citizens will not be impaired.” She paused, allowing them to process.

Now, most worlds that come under Mandalorian control are given immense autonomy – this is because we recognize not all planets follow Mandalorian culture and we wish to allow the customs, governments, etc of planets the right to self-govern. Of course, with your civil war ending recently, we will likely watch closely for any signs of instability. But, that is worth keeping your citizens safe from another destructive war? We will require full access to any trade lanes and control over trade resources, within reason that won't harm your planet.

Secondly, I have three datapads with various charts, numbers, and explanations. I’d like to go through each one with you, if you please. Perhaps these will enhance your desire to join the Mandalorians.”

[member="Adenn Kyramud"]

[delegates]
The delegates were happier than they had been a few moments ago. Knowing that there wasn't a chance of slavery for them and their people; well, it had a calming affect on them. They glanced to each other, sharing small smiles before focusing on the rest of Cassis speach. At some points they nodded their heads, though they didn't interrupt, even when they wanted to. The most shocking part for the diplomats was, we recognize not all planets follow Mandalorian culture and we wish to allow the customs, governments, etc of planets the right to self-govern , they had expected to be forced to join the Mandalorian culture. They weren't ready for that, at least not yet. Some would most likely decide to join immediately, but the rest, they'd be content to rebuild what was lost.

Once Cassi was done, they turned to one another, whispering furiously amongst themselves. It took a minute, but they stopped and turned to Cassi and Adenn again. Then, Jimmy leaned forward a bit, now obviously the "official" talker for the little group; and then he spoke up.
"Well met Cassiopeia. We're glad that you're here. I must say, those treats look delicious. May we get some?" At that moment, Bartsu had been reaching for a muffin. He stopped himself before he took it, looking sheepish. Jimmy shook his head, and Adenn glared at Bartsu. At that, he sat back sheepishly in his seat. "Thank you. Now, on to the other stuff you said. We're glad for the autonomy." Glancing to Adenn, receiving another dispassionate stare, he hurried along. "However, you say you'd watch over us. But we've heard of what you did to other planets. People like the Eshani. The CIS told us of what you've done. How can we be sure that those watching over us, aren't also those who secretly take us away at night?"

Adenn didn't like that, if the low growl was to be taken as displeasure. Jimmy immediately noticed the growl, and paled slightly and scooted backwards in his seat; hurriedly he spoke again.
"I don't mean to say that you are those people, just that.... well, that some people are afraid. Just... we've been through so much, and this, it's too good to be true." Jimmy leaned forward, his elbows on his knees wanting an answer.

[with Adenn]
He had listened to Jimmy and what he had to say. Part of it he found reasonable, but the stuff about them spying on them was absurd. So, once Jimmy was done speaking, Adenn spoke up; he had a growl in his voice, and an unseen glint in his eyes.
"Your concern for your people is good. However, your believe in what the CIS says. It's disquieting to say the least." At that, Jimmy visibly gulped hard. "They know not what they say. We're better than that." Standing up then, Adenn slowly made his way around the chair walking towards the Mandalorian symbol on the wall.

He walked so that his weapons clinked against his armor, and that his footfalls were heavy. It made for an ominous sounding walk. Then he was in front of the Mando'a symbol. He looked at it, then turned to the delegates. "Do you even know the symbol that it is you hang here?" They shook their heads, eyes wide in surprise at the question. "Of course not. It is a symbol of honor, integrity, honesty and loyalty. That symbol, it has existed for countless generations. It is the symbol of the Mandalorians. And those who are true to this are those who have not betrayed their allies." Turning fully to the delegates, giving them a glare from beneath his helmet. Adenn walked forward, between Cassi and the delegates.

Once there, Adenn stopped once more looking at Cassi before focusing once more on the delegates. He gave them each a look, such a look that they squirmed under the T-visors vissage. He then turned around and walked back towards the hovercart. There he grabbed the datapads and spun around to hand them to the delegates.
"These datapads, will as Cassi said, will provide answers to questions you may have."

And with that, Adenn took a step back. He was still angry though. To think, they believed rumors so easily. Then, without even thinking, Adenn took out his knife, strapped to his chest, in one quick and practiced move. That scared the delegates though, Oswiva dropped her datapad. They all feared the worst. Even the guards did, because they took a half step back in fright before partially aiming their guns. That was until they saw what Adenn was doing. Adenn was spinning his knife around his hand, barely even looking at it. The light reflected off of the patterns on the knife, sometimes reflecting onto someone. He was doing various things that would have cost others their hands and caused many scars. Adenn though, he made it seem easy. Then he spoke once more.

"Skill. That is something each Mandalorian gets over time. That symbol also represents our skill. Mandalorians fight, and we win or lose. Though we are never truly beaten. We hold ourselves to our word, and don't break it. This offer we make to you. It is a true offer, the best you shall receive. Believe what you may." Adenn stopped spinning his knife for a moment and looked fully at them. "but what we say is true."

With that, Adenn started spinning his knife again, the patterns on the knife catching the light. He let Cassi speak up there. He listened to what she would say, but didn't interfere. Instead, he merely continued to walk around spinning his knife. It seemed to mesmerize the delegates before they focused fully on Cassi. He didn't do it as an intimidation tactic on purpose, but it worked just as well as one. At that moment, the delegates were open, vulnerable. They were surprised, slightly scared and miffed. They kept glancing at one another and to Cassi or Adenn. Though, whatever Cassi said; they ate it up like children did candy.

Mig looked around, trying to see if anyone suspicious was around. He continued looking as he spoke up.

"Right now, just you. I do think that bag is pretty enticing for a thief, so this guy should take too long to show up." The Mandalorian looked around, before finally seeing some who may have been the person. They were eyeing the bag, so they could've been the thief. "May have a eye on the pickpocket. Be ready."

Fedrig was not far from Beth but close enough to grab the pickpocket should the fool try to run. He was making himself less obvious by still going around and interviewing others. Making sure that the thief didn't think that they were onto them. Tapping his comms, "I am looking around as well but can't see anyone, they appear to have stopped stealing from others so must know that we're onto them. Hopefully they don't realise Beth is a plant. Also, very pretty bag you picked." Fedrig teased Beth slightly.

After a few more minutes, Mig called in saying he saw someone approaching Beth, looking around. Fedrig kept a close eye but didn't stare too obviously at them. Waiting as they got closer to Beth. "On your signal Mig, we'll grab them." Fedrig said, figuring that Mig was more senior so it was his call.

Negotiations were always tense, fraught with a variety of worries. That is kind of how life was, though, wasn’t it? None could ever catch a break from fate constantly bombarding them with crap, over and over. The good thing about Mandalorian control was that we were not oppressors – we wanted people happy to be in the Clans, under the Infernal.

Anyway, they seemed to accept that. And they also get resources from the Clans – healthcare and education for all of their citizens, at really no to little cost to them. Bartsu leaned forward to grab a muffin. “Oh, please. Help yourselves. There is plenty for all.” She gave a smile and even got some small plates and put some of the treats onto them, and then handed them over to the group.

Cassiopeia nodded at the question, she shook her head and put her hand on Adenn’s shoulder. “It’s okay, it is better for us to get these worries out in the air and addressed before the treaty is ratified. The Planet of Eshan is a beautiful planet – and if it had not been for outside forces, would have had almost no damage except for a few blocks. Along side, those who were victims, if we shall call them that, were slavers. Do you really wish for slavers to live, and potentially enslave your people? Our record shows our extreme disdain for slavery.”

Oswiva had been quiet, mostly, especially as she nibbled on her food and examined a datapad. “Hm, how does your Empire view Force Users? It was but several years ago your Empire recovered from their own civil war.” Cassiopeia gave a nod, “Force Use is banned on Mandalore, alone. There are no government positions that are focused on Force Use, unless it is inside specific clans – like, Clan Gred or Australis, who train Force Users. There will be no effect on your Force Users, unless they decide to vacation in Mandalore and use the Force.

She paused, “And let me make this note, if the Force is needed to survive or is passive, an individual will not be charged on Mandalore, either. It is active use of the Force that warrants punishment.”
Oswiva nodded, seemingly less concerned about it.

Bartsu was oblivious as he munched on the goodies. “These are delicious,” he mumbled through a mouthful.

Cassiopeia waited for Adenn to finish his speech while she nodded along with it – and she had to resist the smile as he continued his ‘bad’ cop. She made a mental note to buy him a drink for his part – it was excellent.

A holoprojector displayed Mandalore. “This planet was nearly destroyed by the civil war, before the Red Coronation. It was a brutal, hard, and destructive time. Why do I tell you this, you may wonder.” She gave a smile as she stood showing before and after satellite pictures of the planet. “We, too, went through a civil war. Yet, we rose, we rebuilt, and we quite literally rebuilt our planet. It was hard, it was expensive, but Anobis is in a similar situation. There is durasteel spikes randomly laid, traps, bombs, and other nearly invisible leftovers throughout your rural and suburban areas. We can help repair your ecosystems. Remove these dangerous leftovers. At what cost to you? Nearly none!

Beth quickly got bored of being a live target. Yeah, it was kind of exciting at first, but now? She was just walking around, looking like a ditz. She nibbled on a pretzel she bought a few moments before as she stood in the middle of the street. Maybe he knew? Beth chuckled at Fedrig’s comment, “I do hope we catch him so I can keep it.”

Unbeknownst to Beth, the shapeling was very slowly modifying her features – blonde hair became red, but at a very slow pace. Her facial sculpture changed, just slowly enough to not attract attention. That bag looked appetizing – how much junk had this girl bought? It almost seemed *unreal.* In either case, if she could catch this and if what she thought was inside it – she wouldn’t even have to worry about the next couple months rent!

Serena de Wild had no idea she was being watched, but she did know her luck was running out. People were looking for her, and she really needed just a hair more.

She began to approach Beth from behind, carefully finishing off her appearance change. No one noticed, as usual. Really, she should go to these events more often.

My confession for today has been written so its time to enjoy the festivities. He stands up, closes his notebook and begins to walk around the outskirts of the city. Cities like this are beautiful in celebration, despite my reservations and past experiences it warms my heart to see so many people happy. It has been rare to encounter this peace in such a crowd. Usually, when I encounter this many souls it is on my ship or when reviewing my sailors. But this is nice if only more things could be like this.

That is the curse of being a warrior. The only times I see vast groups of people are in conflict and usually there is little peace for us. My attempt to free myself from this curse has been to travel and learn the way of the forge so that I could create art. He calls for a means of transportation to head to the capital building. The driver complained about the effort needed to deliver him to such a location with all the commotion, so he paid the driver a few extra credits in the spirit of the good fortune. What lovely people in such a place as this, such joy and happiness I have never seen before. Such color and splendor, it is quite magical. He strode up to a side entrance of the capital, and when an official inquired his business there the flag admiral merely explained his status and that he wished to speak with the contingency already there. After this, he was escorted to those already there.

[with Adenn]
Adenn had been pacing around, messing with his knife while talking. Then Cassi brought him back from his pit of anger, with just a simple touch to the shoulder. Instantly Adenn calmed down slightly, he looked to Cassi and gave a barely perceptible nod of thanks. Then he had continued on with his speech. He listened to what she said, nodding along. He looked at Mandalore when it appeared, so did the delegates. Adenn knew the story of what had happened, how Mandalore had basically been destroyed, again, and then been resurrected from its grave. On the other hand, the delegates did not know about it. So, they leaned forward in their seats, eager to hear what she had to say.

When Cassi was done with her little speech about Mandalore and the similarities to Anobis, the delegates looked at each other. They seemed on the fence about it though. The delegates had obviously eaten it up, but they were still skeptical. So, Adenn decided to rectify that. He went back to the side of the arrangement of chairs. He was about to speak up when suddenly Quoron entered the room. He was being escorted in by the same officials that had brought Adenn in. So, when they saw Adenn their eyes widened into shock once more before they slowly and nervously backed out of the room. Chuckling to himself, Adenn began to speak.

What Cassi here says is correct. There are weapons everywhere, traps, bombs and countless other things. You surely care about your people, don’t you?” The delegates stiffened; low blow but a necessary one. “This is your chance to make sure they’re safe. Otherwise, when you look out those windows. The only thing you’ll see is smoke, and ash. That ash will not just be from war, but from your people.

Adenn slowly walked towards the delegates once more; the entire time still messing with his knife. He then glanced between Cassi and Quoron, before focusing his attention on the delegates. It was at that moment that Jimmy stood up. He peered at Adenn with some anger in his eyes and voice.

We do care about our people, more than you could ever understand. And we will make them safe. Safer than they have ever been before.” Turning to Cassi then. “How would we do this?

When Jimmy said that, Adenn smiled to himself. He didn’t say anything, instead walking towards where Quoron was standing. The man might have questions, and if he did, Adenn would answer them. The entire time though, Adenn watched the delegates and Cassi. His little plan/stunt had gone better than he had hoped. Now it would be up to Cassi to cement the deal even more.

Mig just kept his eyes on the person he thought was the target and, low and behold, she began to move towards Beth, shifting into a new form. Mig did his best not to just run at the person, and quickly contacted both [member="Beth Cadera"] , and [member="Fedrig"] .

"We have her. The red head heading towards Beth. I'm heading up so get ready to grab her. Beth, try to feel her with the Force. You have a gift. Use it."

Beth sighed in frustration. Maybe this plan wasn't really working out - really, she had better things to do. She could be helping at the negotiations. She had done that before! That was more exciting than just gorging herself on food in the hopes that some shape-shifting dude-girl decided to show up and make her day. It was just so... Boring.

With a sigh, she heard [member="Mig Gred"] speak. A red head was coming towards her? Oh man. She took a deep breath at his request. Feel her? Well... She could try, at least. She cleared her mind, first. And then she pulled, in a sense, the Force inside her to feel the disruption. Or rather, the disruptor. She caught onto her through the Force and was luckily able to begin tracking her as Beth continued a normal, routine walk ahead. She had to wait for Mig and [member="Fedrig"] to get to her to take the woman out, or else she might get away.

But at the same time, if she got too close to the bag, Beth would have to sprint into action. For a second, accidentally, she reached into the woman's mind - the shapeshifter was actually a he...

"He's close, can you get him? Or do I need to?" There was a brief silence, "...Mig, it's the Presidents son... " Awkwardddd.

Cassiopeia saw another man enter - her friend @Quron Cadera. She gave him a friendly smile and a nod. She gave a nod as [member="Adenn"] Kryamud spoke in confirmation. "I'm sorry for my friends intense words, but it is true. I've run the numbers - it would take your planet decades to recover, and even longer to remove to remove the traps that lay in her forests, oceans, and sands."

Cassiopeia pointed to a graphic from the holocam, which showed timetables, estimates, and more. She pointed to one particurarly. "See? This is how long it will take you. This is how long it will take us." She pointed to another line, which only showed 1-2 years, with the range being potentially less than that.

"Technology, technology and people, Adenn." She gave a smile as the hologram continued to move forward with her presentation. "Lucky for us, we have an extensive amount of terraforming technology on standby that can repair the burnt forests and polluted waters. And, we have droids that can assist in removing traps safely - with no harm to life." She sat back down as she continued her presentation.

"Secondly, education. The Clans of Mandalore expect their people to be educated, and we work through each Clan and planet to provide a universal education system. This ensures your people are educated in a manner you mostly see fit." She pointed to several guides showing education. "Everyone person is valuable, from the janitor to the fighter to the CEO. We ensure our people are trained and educated for their talents and abilities."

The delegates said nothing as they listened to Cassiopeia but stared at Adenn, unsure what to expect of him. Cassiopeia was within reason - Adenn did not seem to be so. Worry gripped them about saying no - although, in truth, they knew they would retain a lot of their own powers and would likely be able to provide more to their people through assimilation into Mandalore.

Fedrig was keeping a close eye on Beth, making sure that things weren't going to turn bad. Mig started moving closer, Fedrig followed suit and noticed the redhead directly moving towards Beth. He wanted to make their move and grab the shapeshifter already but he promised Mig to want on his order to move. It was difficult to not want to jump in already but he needed to keep his cool, no matter what he thought. Then Beth came on his comms and mentioned that the shapeshifter was male and the president's son.

This caused Fedrig to take a step back and look at the redhead. "re you sure about this?" Fedrig asked as he crossed his arms and tried to think what they needed to do. They had to stop the thief but they came here on peaceful terms so running around and arresting the president's son would not go down well with the peaceful transition to the Empire. "Perhaps we should take them aside and confront them rather than do a public arrest. It might go down better if people didn't know that the president's son was the one robbing them, especially make it easier for us as well." Fedrig stated as he waited to hear what the others had to say.

Adenn nodded his head to what Cassi said, his words were intense. however, that was the point. He was the bad cop in this deal, so he had to give out the hard facts. however, he recognized when he won, in this case nearly won. Cassi showed them what they could do, and how quickly. Adenn himself was rather impressed. He knew what Mandalore and her people could do, but to get rid of everything so quickly. It seemed a bit stretched, even though it was true.Though, the delegates seemed to share his initial skepticism. They glanced at each other, as if to say, 1-2 years, imposiible. Then they looked at Adenn, and saw how sure he was of these facts. They saw how sure Cassi was.

Something in both Cassis and Adenns demeanor convinced them that this was a reality, that the Mandalorians could in fact do this. They once more looked to each other, while believing that they could remove all of the war materials so quickly, they still had questions. So, Jimmy spoke up once more.
"This is good and all, it really is. We thank you. Like you said, it would've taken us a while to remove everything. So this, this is a boon we would gladly accept." At that, Jimmy inclined his head forward in thanks. "However, you said you have more to offer. I also see some another datapad or two that we haven't discussed. While we agree and consent to the help of removing war materials, we wish to discuss the rest now please."

At that, Adenn smiled beneath his helmet. Then with one last spin, Adenn stopped his knife spinning. It was so sudden though that the delegates flinched looking at him with wide eyes. Then they shook themselves out of it and looked to Cassi again, awaiting an answer. Adenn looked at Cassi as well, he inclined his head to her. It was in thanks, for what she was doing. Then Adenn walked forward, slowly, and stood behind Cassi. He patted her shoulder before continuing a slow walk around the delegates. This time though, it wasn't to intimidate them. It was simply to walk, to truly see what was there.
