PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Underneath her armour, Aidoann is a relatively average looking human in her mid-thirties.
She is 181 cm tall, of average build, has short, frizzy ginger hair, fair, gold-ish hued skin, dark indigo eyes and her face and body are covered in freckles.
She has a reasonable amount of battle scars across her body, and the tips of her ears are pierced.
She always wears a green headband and a cape made from a fine but oddly durable metallic weave.
Her armour consists of both parts but also design elements from both of her parents, being held in a bright and warm scheme of copper and red, which makes her somewhat stand out on occasion but perfectly fits the mandalorian philosophy of camouflage being for cowards.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

By default Aidoann is an easy going, social person who feels most comfortable mingling with her peers. She does not immediately fit into the 'stereotypes' most outsiders have when thinking of Mandalorians, and to her living by her culture and faith does not necessarily contradict seeing value and potential in other ways of life. (Even though she MAY slip the occasional semi-serious remark about her aruetii peers having no soul.)
When it comes to her private life vs. her work life, it can be said that she draws a very distinct line between the no-nonsense, hard working and dedicated duty-Aido, and the casual, hard-partying and buddies-with-everyone off-duty-Aido.
Personal animosities will not stop her from cooperating with someone, and vice versa will she happily go out to drink and party with someone who might be a rival in her field of work.

STRENGTHS

───
She is a street smart and witty person who knows how to wind her way through issues.
─── Her talent to steer things has both, saved her hide and made her a quick cred more than once.

WEAKNESSES

───
Despite having a felt five-hundred lose friends, buddies with benefits and old business contacts almost anywhere, she has major commitment issues and has an extremely hard time opening up without drifting into irony or sarcasm.
─── Since learning about the circumstances of her original adoption, Aido has an underlying fear of germs and disease, and she will painstakingly clean her equipment after each mission as well as decontaminate her food before consuming anything.
Aido will make light exceptions in public places such as cantinas, but makes sure to always have immuno-boosters on her person.

HISTORY

The early documented history of Aidoann is somewhat incomplete due to her original home colony's demise.
What can be pieced together is that roughly thirty cycles ago a group of Madalorian scouts came across a small gathering of colonists who had survived a pandemic that had ravaged their living space a year earlier.
Assisting with resettling them, the willing colonists among the group were adopted, just as Aidoann, who became the adopted child of Wen Jiun and Vaan'Co Rhys.

She was raised according to the traditions and beliefs of contemporary Mandalorians, spending the formative years of her life traveling with her fathers and their enclave through the Outer and Mid-Rim, chasing work opportunities and trying to carve out a niche for themself.
As a teenager she began to develop the love that would later define her field of work; racing. Back then as a mere hobby and friendly competition with her friends at best she learned how to ride almost any speeder she came across, although her biggest love would be her own swoop bike which she purchased with the credits she won in previous races.

For a while her enclave stayed on Chandar's Folly, where Aido began to work as a courier and gained her first experiences of permanently working close with non-Mandos, which was a… Rocky… First months to put it mildly, however, soon she learned that being fast at her job was not necessarily as influential as being charming with her customers, and soon she began to strategically pick up on the finer tones of alien interactions which opened up a variety of additional odd jobs for her and her fathers.

Roughly fifteen cycles ago her enclave took temporary settlement in Cloud City on Bespin, where she resumed her courier work before eventually putting her skills to a more official use by applying for The Wing Guard, aspiring to become one of their Pilots.
For a while, life was calm and prosperous for Aido. She slowly but surely ranked up and earned the good reputation of a level headed, loyal and approachable patrol duty squad leader.
She made plans to - maybe - permanently settle, yet while she was still in the process of waging a traditional nomad life versus one that granted stable income and personal fulfilment, personal tragedy threw a wrench into things:

The enclave had decided to move on, and along with it her fathers, and while this by no means was supposed to mean the family would have to break up or anything the likes, a few weeks after their departure, Aidoann received the news of the group's untimely deaths.
Not as - to be expected - by a noble cause, a brave battle or a selfless act of resistance, but what killed them had been a minute monitoring error in their ship's oxygen recycler.
Devastated by both, the loss of fer family as well as her own speculations as to whether or not she might have spotted the error if she would have been present, she took an indefinite LOA from her duties before sinking into a metaphorical hole of guilt and excesses.
Only ever the assistance and advice of her old supervisor, and his assurance that she could come back and resume her work whenever she managed to overcome her trouble began to slowly perk her up a bit.
Making it through one day at a time, finding strength in her resol'nare and the aruetii friends she had made on Bespin, she eventually decided that maybe making a fresh start might help her become a better version of herself again.

She began to pack her most important belongings and decided to see the galaxy; find her place in it and put things into perspective.
Just like in her early years, she roamed from system to system, hitch-hiking with whoever was willing to take her as a passenger, or - even preferred - crewmate.

For a while she served with the crew of the Kara'ad, another group of Roaming Mandalorians, working as mercenaries all across the Outer Rim and the Unknown Regions.
Here she met the sciengineer Aetin who trained Aidoann in a wide variety of tech skills, as well as an entity called The Exile who gifted Aidoann her signature cape woven from a metallic alloy not unlike Madalorian Beskar itself - Both after Aido went out of her way to assist her new friends in their personal endeavours.

After a few more years of sidequesting, Aidoann eventually returned back to the Mid Rim, still uncertain of whether or not to resume her old life.
Much had changed in the galaxy by now, and not always for the better.
Apprehensive about commitments as always she therefor signed up for another ship: YOURS...
