Ain't No Rest For The Wicked [Levantine Sanctum Dominion of Iferetes]

[member="Jorus Merrill"] 's strikes would hit true, and it was with a deep agonizing groan that the crimson ravager would start to sway. Left, right, left, before its massive body would give a loud resonating thud as it hit the floor.

"Jorus." would come the half scrambled whisper from Chloe, blue pained filled eyes locking upon the pale bloody visage of the Warden. "Jorus!" she'd say again, scrambling over to him, one hand putting away the blaster pistol at her hip. She'd slide in beside him, thick gloved hands reaching out to cup his clammy face.

Blessed Kalahira, he is alive! It was all she could do to throw her arms around him in momentary relief. Time could heal all wounds, but the love she had for the man would always remain.

Out from beyond the howls of other Rakghouls would warn that they would be overrun soon. Her head would cant, glancing off to the side as her lips drew to a grim line. "We gotta move."

She'd grimace as she'd draw to her feet. "[member="Vaudin Miir"] and [member="Miktik"] wouldn't be far... " she'd spot the remains of her comm on the floor.

That's when she heard howls of pain in the distance, from the Rakghouls themselves. [member="Naamah Aesham"] going at it.

"What was that?"

Vaudin Miir

Planetary President of Iktotch
[member="Miktik"] [member="Jorus Merrill"] [member="Chloe Blake"] [member="Naamah Aesham"]

The fever started to reach a pitch and Vaudin's head swam as he and his new compatriot slinked through the twisted vessels of the dead ship. He wasn't a Jedi or whatever other mumbo jumbo filled groups that floated around the cosmos but he knew a thing or two about following his gut, and that's just what he did. Almost mindlessly he turned at junctions and hid in rooms until after many minutes he leaned against a bulkhead and heard maybe the sweetest sound he had heard in what felt like a lifetime.

"Jorus." he heard a woman say around the corner as roaring began further into the death trap of a ship.

"Hey Stud." Vaudin said to the kushiban as he rested looking a few shades paler than he usually did, "I think Jorus is around this here bend."

Vaudin slid along the wall tearing his vest on the back from the old and unkempt walls, before giving a turkey peak around the corner. To his surprise and relief there they were old Jorus and Chloe still alive and looking a lot like they planned on staying that way. Which was a lot more than he was feeling like doing that was for sure. Vaudin looked back at Miktik and slumped down to sit against the wall.

"Yup, that'd be them bub." Vaudin told Miktik as the senator and scoundrel leaned his head against the wall with a sigh.

The air in the endless tunnels was rank with Death, hanging over her like a pall. Further ahead in the distance she could hear the sounds of battle, bolters and blasterfire echoing across the halls, amidst the savage roars of the Rakghouls. Likewise she felt strong ripples through the Force, then suddenly voices, though too far away for her to discern what was being said. For her part Naamah's own process of elimination was continuing unabated.

She moved further away down the hallway. Her crimson blade danced across it in an Illyric orgy of gore and destruction. Her strike hit true as she cleaved a ravager from shoulder to belly, its massive body giving a resounding thud as it hit the floor. Another pounced upon her back and she was knocked down as its massive arms enclosed around her. As its massive teeth sank down towards her neck she shook herself and threw the beast off, thrusting it into a blood stained wall.

Pain was shooting through her and anger rose inside her body like bile from her stomach as she got up, breathing but shaken. In her mind, amidst the darkness that had enveloped the hall, the sight of the Rakghouls blurred as images flashed through her mind. Images of the camp, the one she had escaped. Atrisian scientists, prodding at her like a piece of meat, an insect under a microscope. Searing, agonising pain when she disoebeyed. The feeling made her...very, very angry. No Inquisition, a twisted family but nonetheless one, likewise [member="Mirien Valdier"] was gone. Just her on a ghost ship from a bygone age infested with monsters. No Empire - may it be torn down and burn in chaos.

She did not need them. Her anger found an outlet as she found herself cornered and the first beast pounced her. From the depths of her lungs came a savage force scream amplified through the Force, triggering a shockwave that rippled through the Force and blew Rakghoul backwards with great ferocity as they were sent flying through the air. Now she felt better.

Warning about a mysterious ghost ship rang in his ears long after paying for his items. Judah carried the new-to-him X-Wing part into the Siren's Song and placed it safely away in a crate to prevent damage. His harddrive in hand, he went and connected the device up to his navicomputer to start downloading the files.

Stepping back into the galley, Judah threw in a prepackaged dinner of spiced nerf loaf and herbed peas into the cooker and waited. After what seemed like an eternity(most likely five minutes), he returned to the cockpit with his meal. Taking bites of the piping hot food, Judah flicked on his nav screen to view the downloaded information.

It was a gold mine of maps, planetary information, captains logs, old routes. There wasn't enough time to sift through its contents now. He immediately went to Etti IV and looked around for reports of a ghost ship. It seemed to have extended back before the Gulag Plague. Idly he wondered if it was a large piece of dangerous salvage.

"One would think someone would have picked it up by now...."

Tired of debating, he punched in the coordinates and disappeared into hyperspace.

[member="Chloe Blake"] [member="Vaudin Miir"] [member="Miktik"]

Rakghoul blood all over him, but he'd been immune to their strain since Denon. Chloe bending over him, clutching him, Vaud saying hello. "I'm good," he mumbled, fighting the last of the fever, the sprawled-out rakghoul, and the constraints of gravity. "I'm good. The feth you two doing out here -- ah, hey, Miktik. Ship's fine, right?" He puked unceremoniously, away from Chloe, and turned back wiping his mouth. "Ship's fine?"

A loud screeching would come just off their six o'clock, coinciding with Jorus's own gastronomical symphony off to the left.

"We can discuss that later," she would say with a rushed tone, one hand reaching behind Jorus to lay on his back, encouraging him to move. "We need to get back to the ship. Fast!" There was no if, and's, or but's about that.

"That ain't a lone Rakghoul coming our way," she'd relay.

Miktik was so happy, he was overcome with human emotion. His fur changed from the dark and frightened near black color it had been to a lighter grey. Still apprehensive, but now hopeful. Jumping forward the small creature dropped his blaster pistol and ran up the mans side and wrapped his tiny little limbs around the man. "[member="Jorus Merrill"] you scared me half to death," he yelled in a yipping almost whining fashion. "The ship is fine, I've seen to it." [member="Chloe Blake"] was there too And Miktik nuzzled her a little with his nose. This was a ship of horrors. "The ship is fine," he repeated, "I've seen to that much, but I was useless in all other regards..." His fur started to turn brown before their eyes. Fear, shame, sadness, happiness. It was too much. "Those things Jorus, and [member="Vaudin Miir"] is sick I think...." Miktik stood up on his hind legs and grabbed the blaster pistol pistol off the ground. "Can we go home now?"

"Flank duty, got it"

Seamlessly the fourteen member tactical squad broke up without another word, seven Firemane soldiers flanking each side of the main group. Boots silently stepped across the ground, taking care not to step on dead bodies. In some cases it was damned near impossible. Delila nearly went flying on some entrails strewn across the ground. Headlamp darted across the room, searching. Her focus was on their flanks and she was searching for an data port of some type. There had to be information of some sort resting in this piece of floating junk.

Sithly beast creatures dropped in from the shadows. Kaida, the less annoying Eldorai, set to work with her mystical Force powers. The room got incredibly cold and the hairs of the back of Delila's neck stood on end. Ice spears made sickly sounds as they entered the beasts, with her soldiers firing. Creatures dropped and Delila moved systematically down the line, providing headshots to the fallen beasts. She had zero desire to see these things reanimate.

"Don't get pushed against the walls!"

Hand went to her tactical vest, feeling for explosives. Never left home without them. Part of her wanted to just release a few, but that might have some collateral damage. Like turn them all into space mush. The scene was chaotic, headlamp lights bouncing off every surface available.Rapid firing could be heard. Delila reached at her hip and pulled off the bolter, the little mini-explosive charges adding to the scene.

"Push the E-Webs closer to this hangar entrance. Lay down suppression fire. It moves, mow it down"

[member="Delila Castillon"], [member="Jorus Merrill"], [member="Chloe Blake"]

Siobhan's interest in the shiny gunships that were conveniently stored in the hangar was cut short by all hell breaking loose. One might wonder how functional these craft could still be after having presumably not undergone any sort of maintenance for centuries, but that was another question entirely. Quality control was not a priority on creepy ghost ships, but the formidable power of space magic made anything possible.

But anyhow there were Rakghouls everywhere. If it was any consolation for the Firemane soldiers who had boldly walked into the death trap and now faced the risk of potentially being infected by the virus and transformed into one of the beasts, the Protectorate did in fact possess a cure ever since the Denon purge, where a still young Omega Pyre had fought against a zombie apocalypse. Ironically enough said zombies were the result of experiments performed to...create a cure for the Rakghoul virus. What was with it with zombies, Rakghouls and ghost ships anyway? The only thing missing were malicious spirits and such.

"Keep up the pressure. Taldir, hold position. We'll bottle them up." Dells' tactical squad was on flanking duty and was evidently doing that job with gusto. Rapid firing broke out as bolters and repeaters laid down a hailstorm, to be joined by the powerful shots coming from the barrel of the shatterboltguns, which more than demanded their tribute in blood against the seemingly endless horde of Rakghouls. Still the battlefield was as chaotic as could be imagined, with headlamps and glowrods bouncing off every surface and casting it in an eerie hue of light.

To get a better view of things some soldiers fired flare rounds from their boltguns into the fray, the brightly coloured flares providing illumination and temporarily casting the target area in a bright light. Moreover, the flares burnt incredibly hot and some Rakghouls caught fire, screeching in pain, others trying to flee as they panicked. After all, given how pitch-dark the entire ship was, it was doubtful that the beasts were used to the light. What the cold onslaught of Kaida and the ice spears had begun, sickly sounds being heard as they pierced the flesh of beasts, fire was continuing.

Siobhan quickly advanced with her troops, moving in the centre from where she could best direct things, though she actually slipped and stumbled over what probably had once been someone's arm and fell down on. Now that was embarrassing, she found as she emerged irritably with an Eldarai curse! "Bring up the flamethrowers towards the centre, roast the beasts. Fireteam, cover them," she barked out amidst the hail of rounds and at a gesture the flamethrower troopers slipped forward, just as it seemed the Rakghouls were finally pulling through due to sheer weight of numbers, their hunger and primal rage overcoming the shock and awe they faced. A furious barrage greeted them, scarlet hails flashing into existence that bisected beasts along with buckshot rounds at close range that sent entrails and limbs spiralling across the already blood-stained ground.

At close distance the flamethrowers were unleashed and two jets of scorching, cleansing heat erupted, tongues of blazing fire surging forth from the weapons' nozzles, white-hot fury that liquified the ice that had crystallised due to Kaida's cryomancy and enveloped Rakghouls. Screams could be heard over the roar of the flames, but it soon went under in the cacophony of gunfire. The blasts of heat could not cover the entire assault zone, not only due to lack of flamers but Rakghouls were savage creatures, much like Reavers in a sense, and so there was little organisation beyond them being a pack out for meat.

Aphotic energy rippled through Siobhan as she turned inward and sought power inside her then violently redirected it outward in a force repulse, an outburst of telekinetic energy that swept towards the beasts in an outburst of force energy. Rakghouls, some of them trying to roll around in the pools of cold water created by the Eldorai cryomancer to put out the flames, were caught in the blast and sent flying across the tunnel, the shockwave crushing bones, bursting internal organs and making the walls and floor tremble under its telekinetic might.

[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

Siobhan was clearly smarting from her slip and fall when she ordered the flame throwers to advance. Now Delila loved flames and destruction as much as the next crazed soldier. However, the smell of burning, rotting flesh in an enclosed space wasn't something on her list of favorite scents. Didn't even smell like the cookouts she held for the Firemane troops. The thought of delicious charred meats did not mesh with the smell of rotten charred meat. Trying to advance through the choking smell, Delila didn't last long. Contents of her breakfast quickly met the bloody decking, the redhead hunched over as her stomach lurched. Thankfully her hair was up in a bun. Didn't need to add to the disgusting mess any further.

Straightening, a glare was shot to Siobhan.

"Are you trying to kill us?"

Wiping her brow as the floor rumbled, Delila gripped her weapon tighter. Right now the Sithly beasts were pushed back. No doubt others were on the way in very short order. It was going to take hard work just to gain any footing. Bodies piled up near the entrance to the hangar and Delila moved her squad quickly. They were to begin moving into the hallways, taking as much as possible.

"Into the hallway. Another round of E-webs, two for each direction. Quickly! Lets keep this secured or we're never going to be able to fall back. You" Delila pointed to a young man "Find some panels in here, see if you can't set about bringing in some light. Clearly they aren't used to it."

For her part Kaida was not fond of fire and stuff. Sure it was terribly effcient for flushing out enemies, roasting zombies and zombie rip-offs like Rakghouls, but she always had to suppress the unconscious desire to freeze it all when firestorms like this played out before her. She and her squad had been fighting their own action further ahead, gunning down Rakghouls or spearing them with ridiculously sharp ice shards in her case, with cover being provided by Dells' squad, when Siobhan decided it would be a good idea for a barbeque.

The smell of burning, rotting flesh was suddenly rank in the air, charred bodies lining the hall. Even for someone who had been through Gehenna the smell was almost choking. Given that she was further ahead she might have missed Dells spilling out her breakfast over the floor. Then again, Kaida was slightly less of a troll than Siobhan so she might have tactfully not commented on it. As for Siobhan, she was telekinescing all over the place and smashing Rakghouls into walls, a motion accompanied by bone-cracking sounds.

The walls and floor shook as if struck by quakes and tremors. Now that was something that disorientated Kaida before she shook it off. All the icy goodness she had unleashed had been melted by the onslaught of flaming heat but she had other tricks. The Rakghouls had been given hell and now it was time to bring the cold back. It was truly not nice to be a Sithly beast at the moment, given the massive temperature fluctuations they had been subjected to, but given their unfortunate habit to eat people and infect them with a nasty virus, Kaida was not in a nice mood. Having gained some breathing space she focused on some Sithly beasts and drew upon her Sciia, harnessing her natural connection to the element of ice.

Cold steam emanated from her gloved hands and her mouth, her lips acquiring a bluish tint that would have given the casual onlooker the impression that she was suffering from frostbite, with frost pearls spreading across her face, though it was obscured by her helmet. Rather than making it ridiculously cold again for everyone in the hangar and corridor - that might have turned awkward - she was exerting her will to draw heat away from the beasts, siphoning their life force from them as she willed the temperature to drop rapidly, draining them. Rakghouls screeched wildly as their temperature dropped down to minus twenty and ceased movement, seemingly paralysed and frozen. Frost pearls spread across as they began to crystallise, brain functions began to shut down and then, while in one case limbs became so frozen they burst, the heart ceased beating. Kaida let out a deep breath that for a moment covered her visor in cold steam. She liked the cold a lot more than heat!

She heard Dells ordering her squad to advance and did likewise. "Beasts are retreating. Move it quickly! Loaded explosive for the bolters and gun the retreatees down. Keep our ears and eyes open for ambushes," she ordered as they advanced quickly. Firemane soldiers quickly advanced, e-webs firing overhead from both directions to mow down Rakghouls. Her squad took point, providing angles of cover for the trooper Dells had sent out to get some actual light. Flares and tracer rounds were shot into the dark, casting it in a flash of bright light and giving some illumination to work with.

[member="Kaida Taldir"]

Pressing the barrel of her blaster rifle against one of the frozen Sith beasts, Delila noticed its appendage shattered at her touch. Like a science experience one would perform in primary school! Impressive, even for a space elf. Yet there could be no time to be amazed at such thing. Work was to be done.

Delila was moving easier now with the cold air helping her breathe better. There was less of a charred rotten stink in the air and more of a refreshed feel. Moving out into the hall with the e-webs, there was no way to know where to go. Their team was small. In a perfect universe there would be an entire battalion to sweep through and check room by room. Yet her days of leading entire battalions was over. She lost the right when most of her men died back on Roche.

The young technician was working nervously on the lighting situation. Delila could see sparks from his efforts, especially as tracer bullets whizzed by the soldier. Staring up and down the hallways, Delila briefly though about splitting up their group. However it seemed foolish. They were barely surviving as a whole. No matter the time saved it wasn't worth the lives.

"Hold this length of the corridor. The rest of us will move forward as a group."

Lights flickered then died. The young technician cursed under his breath for a moment. Wires suddenly were ripped out from one panel to another, as if the boy was hot wiring it. Seconds later the very dim emergency lighting came. It was weak and flickering, but better than total darkness.

"Captain Castillon, All I could get is emergency lighting. Real lighting would take too much time and effort."

Merely nodding, Delila was pleased enough. It wasn't as if anyone could perform miracles on the hunk of junk. Pushing out the soldiers started right down the corridor. Creeping along, the eerie feeling was increased by the flickering lights. She didn't like how quiet everything was all the sudden. Boots shuffled along, accompanied by breathing and the checking of ammo as the only sounds echoing through the ship. Every so often creaks and groans could be heard.

As they approached the T intersection, sirens immediately started to blare.

"Quarantine Zone Activated. Quarantine Zone Activated. Over ride required.Quarantine - "

Rumbling was heard above them, the Sith beasts alerted to their presence. They were coming. And fast.

"Take defensive positions!"

"Quarantine Zone Activated. Quarantine Zone Activated. Over ride required. Quarantine..."

dead_space_gold.jpg

Without warning the suspicious serenity and calm that had settled in as the Firemane strike force advanced amidst flickering lights and past lines of dead, badly mauled bodies was broken. Boots shuffled as soldiers moved into defensive formation, weapons were put at the ready and then there was rumbling above. Drums, drums in the deep. Savage roars echoed across the dimly lit corridor, the poor lightning only adding to the eerie feeling as shadows danced across walls stained with dried blood. The smell of death was their constant companion.

"Here they come. Get into position and mow them down. Bolter shooters keep buckshot ready for close range," Kaida gripped her boltgun tightly as she assumed her place in the line, taking a breath as stampeding and wild screeching was heard, then the horde of Rakghouls began charging. They were coming. And fast. The Firemane soldiers had superior firepower and training on their side, not to mention a ridiculously brutal force god, who in Kaida's estimation could easily turn out to be more of a threat to them than the Rakghouls, but they were far inferior in numbers. In a perfect world she would have had a Company of Angelii with her, all trained in the use of modern weapons and the best of the best, Ashira's fury and wrath personified as they righteously smote the monsters in her name.

I don't need a 'goddess' to save me, she thought grimly as she brought up her gun and squeezed the trigger, spitting out rounds. A wild symphony of sound, one that would never be heard in any opera, broke out as a hailstorm of blaster and bolter rounds was shot towards the charging horde. "Prepare grenades...now." At her signal soldiers in her squad began lobbing frag grenades into the fray. Blaster bolts burnt flesh and explosions torn apart limbs, amidst the detonations roars resonated across the corridor. Rakghouls were shredded, body parts flew through the air but they kept coming. In the corridor above rumbling could be heard, more beasts would soon be on the spot and shadows danced across the walls. With her power Kaida manifested razor sharp icicles out of thin air as she harnessed the water molecules and sent them flying at the beast to viciously strike through them.

"Hold the line. Kill anything that comes," she heard Siobhan barking out then the suddenly the ceiling heaved and shook, the corridor being shaken by small quakes, before in a flash a large chunk of the roof above the Rakghouls that were further ahead was torn asunder and came crashing down, billowing cloud of smoke rising up into the air from the impact along with the sound of pained screeches as Rakghouls were quite literally crushed. Still what was left of the horde continued, now with renewed malice and hunger as they began closing the distance. queen better not drop a roof on us, Kaida thought to herself.

Her boltgun's magazine clicked empty as her last round in it exited to shred a beast into its significant parts. Out of the corner of eye she spied a water tank of some sort close to the wall, presumably meant to put out fires. She gestured to a soldier close to her.

"Shoot it." When he seemed a bit dumbfounded by the order she repeated it, this time more harsly. "Shoot the damn thing. I'll give us a flood." Apparently now understanding what the cryomancy-obsessed elf wanted to do, the trooper complied and fired, a bolt blowing the tank open. Soldiers of the first line were reloading their guns, such was the mass of beasts, under covering fire from the e-webs and repeaters, searing red-hot bolts travelling through the air.

"Do it. I'll fry them with lightning! On my signal...prepare EMP grenades," Siobhan barked out over the noise.

Concentration etched over her features and looking as if she had come down with a bad case of frostbite Kaida utilised her Sciia and exerted herself over the wave of cold water that was now spilling out, willing the wave to drive towards the Rakghouls. On its own it probably would do not that much, but she violently lashed out, creating strong and powerful waves in the air as the temperature dropped around them. Ice cold breath escaped her mouth and through her will the winds coalesced into a storm, a raging tempest that combined with the small flood swept towards the Rakghouls with a fury as if to drown them and wash the hall clean of their foul presence.

"Now...EMP grenades!" In this moment Siobhan stretched out her hand, sparks of electricity cackling over her gauntleted palm. There was a flash, and then a torrent of lightning shrieked from her fingertips and surged towards the now very wet beasts in a broad arc. Lightning everywhere! Being electrocuted while very wet was not a pleasant experience.

In the Darkness there is Truth
Her force scream, a sudden outburst of her rage and pain, had swept Rakghouls through the air and given her some breathing space. It felt good. No Empire, no Inquisition, no orders. No implanted control device in her spine with lead wires that ran across her spine until they reached the brain and connected with her nervous system...and could induce paralysis or excruciating pain at the press of a button.

Just her with her back against the wall and plenty of beasts. In a bizarre way it felt like...freedom.

Her crimson blade travelled through the air as she bolted, using the brief window of opportunity granted, adrenaline and the Force feeding her the energy to will her tired muscles into obeying her will. A beast pounced at her and with a mental gesture she sent her blade flying through the air to impact upon its skull and burn it through. The broken lekku of a Twi'lek - well, it seemed like one of those - was raised by her mind and sent flying like an improvised spear to run through the mouth of a beast.

She caught herself from stumbling over some corpse and then emerged through a corridor, which unbeknownst to her should bring her to where [member="Jorus Merrill"], [member="Chloe Blake"] et all were present.

Judah spent his time drifting through hyperspace overlooking the navicomputer information he had paid for. There was some excellent resources. Planets unheard of, trade information and more. Some information was blank while others included quite a few details. If he had to guess his little harddrive had been ripped from a smuggler's vessel or some type of legitimate cargo transport. Absorbed in his own world, the Siren's Song soon reverted back into real space.

Off in the distance, the 'ghost ship' loomed. Immediately he pushed the Siren closer towards the large vessel, one hand moving to run scans of the ship. Life form readings were present. As he pulled closer, dim lights flickered in various areas of the ghost ship.

"I'll be damned."

With the presence of life forms, Judah certainly wasn't about to put on a vac suit and go exploring. Instead he did a drive by, shining the lights of the Siren into the viewports, searching. Blood smeared many of the windows. Shadows -- or creatures -- loomed inside, with only brief glimpses into the ship. From what the salvager could see it looked like a long, bloody struggle for control.

[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

"You know" Delila called over the roar of fighting and beastly noises. "We should punch a hole in this thing and let the vacuum take them out.We're going to run out of ammo before we even clear half the vessel."

She wouldn't act on her idea without Siobhan and Kaida's approval however. It was merely a thought to end their troubles much quicker. It would have to be done in an area they could easily shut down, to prevent their soldiers from flying out as well. Right now it seemed the Forcies were enjoying their little tricks. Causing floods, electrocuting the beasts. Delila made sure to keep her boots clear, no need to turn into a piece of toast.

Blaster rifle fired, catching a Sith beast in the eye. It didn't stop it, her team had to step in and continue to fire as well. Tough bastards they were. One of their own went flying, causing Delila and a few others to slowly work her way. Picking through the carnage while fighting certainly slowed them down. This couldn't continue forever. Delila wondered if they could evacuate and place charges outside the ghost ship and let it blow.

[member="Delila Castillon"]

"Agreed. My squad's starting to run low on bolter ammo. Just find some place we can isolate to stop us from getting spaced," Kaida opined, having to shout to make herself heard over the roar of fighting, gunfire and beastly roars. Presumably Siobhan, being the pompous sort, did not care much for her opinion, but then she did not care about the Countess'.

Right now Dells seemed like a person she could actually like. At least she agreed that gunning your way through an entire creepy ghost ship filled with zombies was just...cliched. And not very smart. Hopefully Siobhan would not use this as an excuse to tear things down while they were still inside. When this is over the people of Iferetes better show their appreciation, she thought grimly to herself as Rakghouls were scythed with laser fire, electrocuted or frozen by the biting cold, being drained of their heat, some crystallising and turning to ice, which shattered as she gave it a telekinetic push.

More roars echoed further ahead in the corridor. Yeah, they should really just blow a hole in. This was getting...really tedious.

[member="Delila Castillon"]

Siobhan liked blowing things up and punching holes through big things. As evidenced by the fact that she liked the big flood, even though she still thought cryomancy was lacking compared to pyromancy. It was a shame Lavina, Kaida's sister, was not here. She had always liked her more. Partly because she reminded her of Adril.

Anyhow, this post is actually supposed to count as content so that it is a quality post and not just a filler to help get the dominion done. Of course, if anyone told Siobhan about 'dominoing' she would assume that they meant playing games with Domino the blue Twi'lek. The strike force slowly advanced amidst lightning flying everywhere, beasts being flooded or shattering into pieces of ice. Still the carnage worked both ways and made it difficult to walk through, though fortunately Siobhan managed not to stumble over entrails again because that would be terribly embarrassing.

Her features were cast in an eerie light as she sent a blast of lightning forth to fry beasts before it died down. "Permission granted. Got a spot in mind?" she called out. Some annoying turret suddenly decided to sprout to life in the ceiling and fire. It smashed into her shoulder and thrust her back, hitting her like the blow of a mace. She grunted as pain shot through her and it felt like something had been broken, then viciously grabbed the turret and simply crumpled it into pieces.

Chloe had not been kidding about the Rakghouls threatening to overrun them. The next few seconds would see the Rakghouls tearing through broken crates and roaring as bloodlust shone in their bright red eyes.

The ground would shake as they would draw near, Chloe shouting at everyone to “RUN!” feet back tracking. It was then that they bumped into a stranger. White blonde hair ran down past her shoulders and she was covered in blood.

There was no time to ask questions, Chloe began to use what small amount of telekinetic Force use she had to grab a large crate and sent it flying at the sea of Rakghouls threatening to crash onto them.

So she got lucky and stumbled upon other people instead of just Rakghouls...and in the same moment more of the beasts showed up. Rakghouls everywhere! Broken crates were torn up as the beasts surged towards the beleagured group, others leaping down from cracks in the ceiling. There was pure bloodlust in their crimson eyes that seemed to glow in the dark, such were their numbers that their roars seemed almost deafening.

A blonde woman shouted at everyone to run. Her face did not ring a bell, but then Naamah was obviously otherwise occupied, though the features of a spacer did. J.Q. Merrill was certainly well-known! She had liked the part about unleashing a salvoe of assault concussion missiles on a Templar Citadel. She still remembered Confederates trying to drop capital ships on Atrisia out of sheer spite, thank you very much.

Too many beasts to fight, too many for her blade to slay. Willing herself to focus she exerted her telekinetic will to unleash a surge of telekinetic energy that came crashing towards the Rakghouls, gathering up dead bodies and broken weapons along the way. She was no Sio Kerrigan, but fury and fear gave her fuel, unleashing a wave of hatred. Her last frag grenade was grabbed and tossed into the sea of beasts.
