ALL SITH

Basically. Drop it in if you want, but be aware that you would only be able to RP with it involved if you were being boarded. Like, if you're not on the planet and you need a way there, sure, bring a ship to carry you (makes sense), but once it's there you should immediately head to the ground and make no reference to the fleet.

Look at it this way. The fleet exists solely to bring you to the planet, once it does that you should forget it exists.

Ok the purpose of the EMP is to knock out all the electronics on the ground side prior to our arriving. It won't do any actual damage but anything with electronics in them (jedi sabers, their guns, their ships, their armor, their comms) are now piles of inert metal.

Meanwhile since we are in space, the EMP will not affect us or our troops. We have a serious advantage of wiping out the force at the space port which will be grounded and unable to defend itself.

This tactic was considered during the Cold War as a first strike option to take out the defenders capability for electronic defense.

The EMP will not be used for the space battle as they are background noise and not relevant to the massacre that will take place on the space port.

Voracitos - Your tusken might be strong, but I dont see how he could hurt me if I was in a tank and he was only using his bare fists. Mind you I said if I was in a tank.

The only real threat at the space port remaining would be the Jedi which will easily be dealt with.

Don't make these threads about NPC's, they should be about the PC's. The NPC's victories should be determined by PC's (see Colonel Veers destroying Shield Generator and allowing stormies into Echo Base).

Okay guys youre over complicating this shit SO much. You don't need EMPS or anything like that. The way this is happening right now is that the Mandalorians are invading Junction. They will quickly overrun our current defenses(which are basically skeleton crew except for the capital.) There are really no more civilians left within the major towns or cities(most have all been slaughtered). This means the Mandalorians will land in most places to total desertion, not to mention that nearly all defenses were destroyed(by us). So when the Mandalorians land they fight what NPC's are left which is when we show up as reinforcements and sweep in behind them turning into a straight fight once again where PC VS PC is the only thing that matters.

Don't even bother with that. Just assume there's a battle and worry about who did what after the thread. You win the invasion, you did a lot of damage to their NPC's. The reverse is done if it goes the other way.

Simplify it. Make it about Kaine, not Kaine's army.

They started it with massive formations and landing troops, ok as a ground commander I happen to know it makes sense to take out your opponent's capability to fight before the battle begins.

Although the space port battle will be PC vs PC, we would go in with a serious tactical advantage seeing we can shoot and they cannot. As background the sith NPCs will be routing them from the field of battle while we fight them PC vs. PC.

Daxton, I'm starting to imagine you have no idea what you're talking about.

You can shoot and they cannot? I wasn't aware that the enemy was weaponless.

As Moridin said, you're overcomplicating things. Stop.

I understand that line of thinking Daxton, but with threads and invasions like this NPC's honestly don't matter. If your NPC's happen to win, but your PC's lose every single fight the RJ's and Admins will still rule that your faction lost because your leaders lost. PC VS PC is the only thing that matters, adding a massive glob of NPC's tactical stuff just complicates everything.

It's cool, Kaine. But I've seen what happens when you focus on NPC's and how many tanks you've got - the other side has no fun with it. Trust me, I was both you and Daxton at one point. No one liked me outside of my own faction.

Disciple - They aren't weaponless just yet. That is what the emp is for to take out all their electronics. Guns, armor, ship, anything with a chip gets fried and is basically a piece of metal. We are outside the blast zone, so our electronics wont be affected, thus are working.
