Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Rasu Gan Rasu Gan

The sounds of crashing waves came to the jedi master first as she woke up... Ahch-To was many things and they had worked upon expanding a great deal of it. THe Jadeite were here on the world and there was much more below the surface of the waters.. from strange creatures to more impressive beings of the lightside of the force. She rolled off of the bed though and was on her feet with the stone cold underneath. The continued sounds of the waves crashing as the sun was there coming through the large open windows... a mist net forr bugs around the bed and it functioned to rreduce the chill a little. Herr meditations while sleeping to stay warm and comfortable were the other part of that equation. She stretched out going through the netting and into the sun as it crept along the temple floor. THe Caretakers there seeing to the stone work as they used the jarcrete to reinforce and structures.

"Morning." She said it and got nods while some of the droids had laid out food and drinks to start the morning... the jedi master needing a moment as she finished up changing into one of the more casual robes for them. THe sounds coming in from the students who were working on their latest experiments... force constructs like the shadex were able to be made easily enough but one needed to be careful and they were developing them in a number of different forms. The jedi master was working on a few things herself... they had developed gree works and were looking for ways to have Rakata technologies for study with the force aspects them. THey had been gathering all that they could from the unknown regions and working on much more to reverse engineer and develop their own technologies.

She was looking at a few other things though as from the balcony she moved towards the small waterfall that formed after a storm.. the peak of the mountain had a basin that collected rainwater and slowly it released it in a stream that fell into the lowest reaches of the islands cave system. They had been exploring and found crystals yes but there had been a number of other things from the world as it waxed and waned with ice ages... sea levels and everything.. different cultures had built temples on the vergence of the force. She had an open invitation for any jedi to come and the Jadeite welcomed plenty of them with their different groups on the planet.. temples were being made to house and train the different ranks as well much like the shadow temple that had formed and been built up.

The waves of Ahch-To crashed against the cliff side sending droplets showering over the aging Jedi Master. Rasu had never travelled to this planet before and she found herself regretting not visiting sooner. The landscape offered a serene almost tranquil air that pleased the Shi'ido. She had always hungered for the hermit life and Ahch-To offered a wonderful escape from the bustling chaos that plagued majority of the galaxy. Spotting the stone structures a few miles ahead, Rasu set off to hopefully reunite with an old friend.

It had been years since she had last seen Matsu Ike Matsu Ike however she was certain that the decades would be erased in an instant when they clasped hands once more. As she approached the village, screams and shrieks reached her ears causing the Jedi to tense. However this eased and a smile grew as she recognised the sound of children. "Master Ike has been busy here indeed," she thought. Thinking back to her time at the Academy on Voss, Rasu remembered the joy teaching had brought her. She had been shown such kindness and developed a love for learning during her own academic years. It was her privilege to pass this on to those who would come after her.

As she made her way to the village square she witnessed the true extent of Matsu's endeavours on this world. To see such harmonious balance between the natural and artificial left the Shi'ido in wonder. She was blessed with an extended lifespan to those average citizens of the galaxy and even then she had yet to witness such marvels. Her eyes came to rest on a large temple further up the mountain. The Force beckoned her onwards and as she reached out she sensed the presence of her fellow Master. Rasu broke into a fast pace towards the temple, eager to reunite with her old friend and at last begin piecing together the decades that lay absent in her memory. She reached out through the Force and brushed against Matsu's aura, alerting her to the presence of the Shi'ido Jedi Master. It was best to let the woman know of her arrival rather than surprise her and be an inconvenience. Rasu quickened her pace, practically skipping until she at last reached the gates of the temple. There she stood, waiting patiently for Master Ike, fighting to keep a grin spreading across her face.

Therre was something... a familiar presence and the jedi master looked up from where she was. Helping a few of the initiates who were in theirr training gi's and using the advanced courses... the muunteer stones set up in a way as to challenge them from different levels with their levitation. She stayed there for a moment and then moved quickly, herr body vibrating as it took heat and friction from the environment around making it appear like she was teleporting but in reality she was slowly down the universe around her and rapidly speeding up her body to move through it. The icy crystals that formed was just from being in below zero temperatures for a brief moment when she came to stand in front of Rasu.

"Master Gan." THe jedi master said it and she was standing there as ice crystals shook off of her body and she had a smile on her face at this sight.. the shi-ido was well an old friend... a fellow master and had been there with her, Sochi, Aika and Iella around the formation of the Silver jedi when they returned and she didn't make claims she had been largely withou the force at the time and moved forwards to greet her with her hands out. "It does wonders to see you again." THe jedi shook off the last of the ice but beamed practically in the sun as she could feel the few jadeite who were there look on and they rarely saw Matsu greet so openly others herself.

"Master Gan."
Rasu clasped Matsu's outstretched hands in delight. Her worries melted away like the ice on her old friends face as she pulled her into a tight embrace. It dawned on Rasu how she truly came to rely on the company of her friends and those she held dear in times of hardship. Any problem, much like her memory loss, seemed of no concern in the presence of Matsu Ike Matsu Ike .

"What a delight it is to see you again my friend," she said, refusing to let to go of her hands for fear that she too might become lost to her. Rasu was relieved that some aspects of her past remained open to her. She thought back to her time in the early days of the Silver Jedi Order and remembered the bonds of friendship between herself, Iella, Sochi and Matsu that had united those lost Jedi. Perhaps Matsu could bring her back from the brink as they had done for so many in the past.

"I hope my arrival hasn't brought you any inconvenience Matsu?" she asked, suddenly noticing the many eyes that were fixed on the pair. It surprised her to see such alarm at their embrace. Rasu and Matsu had always had a close friendship and she never pictured her friend as having to fear from showing emotion around others. 'Much has changed indeed,' she thought to herself, growing concerned at just how much she remained ignorant of since her arrival back into civilized society. "Perhaps I might ask for a tour?" she said, gesturing towards the temple. Rasu had much to ask her old friend but these questions could wait until they were away from unwanted ears and eyes.

She embraced her and nodded. "Never a problem for old friends." She said it and looked at Rasu more pulling back a little. "It is good to see you, for a moment I thought you might have been a vision or ghost... happens here from time to time with the force nexus." SHe said it and was mostly neutral but a tour fo the island did sound like a good idea.. there was a lot here and even more that they had been working on. "A tour sounds good... you can see all of the works that we have been doing." THe jedi master said it and she started by pointing up. "I don't know if you saw it on approach but we have been able to develop the library into a monolith... massive and filled with everything needed by the jedi as well as many mroe things they might not know will be helpful."

She had a grin on her face though wrapping one arm around Rasu's and leading her down the stone pathways that were cleaned and polished, the sounds of children training were there but also teens and adults who werre working on different projects. "The Jadeite as I have come to call them are compared to most orders dedicated to artisans and engineering... research and development which benefits the other orders who need it. We have made new force crystals and materials that can be crafted into robes and sabers as well as reverse engineering older technologies into highly improved models for use on ships or with their equipment." She pointed down the pathways that were leading to different areas of the island where they had built platforms with repulsors and structures.

"We have worked to develop parts of the temple and expand on some of them in ways that could be moved around and replaced but without carving into the landscape... A few structures but the platforms for training and buildings function with ion shielding for the storms and sustainable power sources allowing them to remain active for far longer then most will be here. We have taken time with the caretakers to try and develop a better relationship between the villages as they seem to like the temples so the droids assist them as needed with the day to day cleaning and maintaining of the structures." She kept walking and giving Rasu a grin of enjoyment. "We have worked on improving the training methods of our jedi and classes, ranks and areas of expertise have become important. I am proud to say most Jadeite jedi have superior skills in most areas of the force to compliment raw talent."

Rasu entered the temple with Matsu, eager to witness the Jadeite Jedi's endeavours. The sheer sight of it all took her breathe away. The marvels stored in the mountain exceeded the level of skill she had not seen anywhere throughout the galaxy. Matsu was indeed a genius and she had passed on her knowledge and expertise wisely. "It's wonderful Matsu. To imagine you could accomplish this all in..." her voice trailed off. She had no idea how long she had been away. Matsu appeared to not have aged much and knowing how hard-working her friend was, Rasu was not surprised that she could accomplish all this in a short space of time.

As Matsu led her further through the facility they were met with the all to familiar chatter of trainees, both young and old as Matsu had told her. Rasu's gaze came to rest on a pair of teen initiates sparring.

"They certainly look impressive. Fine weaponry indeed."
The Shi'ido felt a wave of nostalgia wash over her as she watched the pair spar with their crystal-enhanced sabers. The hissing and shrieking of the energy blades locking brought her mind back to Voss training with her Master and now husband Marek. The pair had never felt closer than when they locked blades. Swinging and flinging their weapons as an extension of their bodies. Their elegant yet deadly dance acted as a display of their attuned skills but also of their utmost trust in each other. It dawned on Rasu that she hadn't seen the man she loved for quite sometime and was unaware if he had rejoined the Cosmic Force. A well of tears suddenly blurred the woman's vision as the guilt of forgetting her husband crashed into the forefront of her mind. Turning away from Matsu to not bring her any concern, Rasu walked briskly towards a workstation. Picking up what appeared to be a crystal tuning matrix, Rasu pretended to study its design while fighting back the bank of tears now welling in her eyes.

The jedi master looked at her when she was turning away and didn't need to move.. mroe she allowed her to feel what she needed to and went with the distraction that she was doing. Though she did come over eventually and looked at the students. "It can be difficult, loved ones are not always there or around... and sometimes we spend far to much time away from them." She said it and looked at Rasu more brushing at the surface thoughts and gazing then anything intrusive as one hand came out and formed a comlink... the art of the small being used at a level few if any could do with speed to stack the atoms and create each piece of it.

"You know there is always a chance to reconnect, Hanna puts up with me being here and off on exploration trips for months at a time or even longer... granted there is a lot of things that we do to make up for it but ahhh lets not get into the things a double jointed hapan can do." SHe had a grin on her face though at the thoughts. "Though communing with one through the force doesn't know distance and this world is ideal for it if you wanted to try and reach him." THe comlink was there and she tapped it as it resonated with the force. "I have also learned a few tricks like using compressed force energy from a pocket dimension.. think of it like an exotic factor to do far more interesting things."

Rasu couldn't hold back her feelings anymore. Tears began to trickle down her cheeks as her body began to shake. It was hopeless trying to hide anything from her friend and she felt ashamed that she had attempted to hide this from her in the first place. After all they had been through together, Rasu had no reason to fight back her tears, Matsu had seen her in a far worse place.

Looking at the comlink that had appeared in Matsu's palm, Rasu pondered the Jadeite's words. Surely there was no harm in reaching out to Marek. If anything she could have some closure in the confirmation of his passing. As she reached forward to take the comlink, a thought held her back. What if he didn't want to see you? Perhaps there was a reason Rasu was left alone on that barren world. Marek did not want anything to do with her after all the times she had abandoned him.

No. A trembling hand reached out for the comlink however she stopped herself If the Shi'ido wasn't ready at this moment, there would be another opportunity for her to make the call. Her head rose in gratitude towards Matsu before Rasu found herself snorting at the Jedi's rather wild comment. The Shi'ido burst into laughter. There was much she still had to learn about her friend it seemed, but one thing she could rely on was that Matsu could always make her laugh.

"I can't wait to meet Hanna. We need to trade stories it seems." Rasu said, a wide smile now stretched across her face.
"You have made so many discoveries here Matsu. What brought you to this world?"

SHe laughed with her as well and sitting there had one other alternative to the look she seemed to have. "If we need to, second option." She did have sweet creams that they could sit down and eat cause that is what one did and it was important to follow traditional things. Still she looked at Rasu who asked what brought her to the world and. "Well the force and legends of the planet... it was a strange place but then I learned a lot not just about the force or the jedi but about the world itself. The caretakers hid away a repository that holds thousands of years worth of things they have cleared away from the temple. Making it seem untouched but in truth they reset the islands after visitors leave."

The jedi master though remained there and just had a hand for comfort. "But you never know what else we might find... the oceans here cover a great deal and there are creatures on the world... some light, some dark and some in between. An old friend is also here from time to time maintaining the temple for the jedi shadows to seal themselves away in. I know Syn Syn will be happy to see you as far as things go. Your children seemed to be getting along." She said it and remained where she was offering for them to be able to continue the tour when she walked along the pathway towards one of the overlooks that went down and the shadex constructs could be seen.

"Oh now these are fun, for the Jadeite trials... the normal things a jedi does but they also construct and power their own force golems... think a shard droid but it is an extension of the jedi's will and able to be controlled by them or act as a bodyguard." She said it and the shadex that were around and being worked on. There were a few other students that were shaping and using kyber crystals to create different items including saber hilts styled to become jedi gifts for ceremonial promotions. An ancient kyber sword that could be infused with the force and used to channel the force into it to empower a force user.

Matsu's efforts in comforting the Shi'ido were greatly appreciated by Rasu. She had felt her into world shift and turn on its head since reawakening but her friends kind words and offers of help lifted Rasu's spirits. She was grateful for the distraction that Matsu offered and allowed her attention to return to the tour.

"This world does indeed have a deep connection with the Force. I felt immediately revitalised as soon as I arrived." No wonder the Jedi of old continued to return to this world. Its connection ran as deep as its history. Rasu was intrigued to learn how deep exactly. Her desire for knowledge was always getting her into trouble, but she doubted whether she could cause such a scene compared to that of Matsu, or Master Syn for that matter. "How is Master Syn?" Rasu asked. The mention of his name tugged at Rasu's heart bringing back memories of her dear friend Iella. She had come to terms with Master E`ron's passing these last years but her death had still left a piece of Rasu empty with no hope of filling it.

Rasu followed Matsu into another chamber, watching with growing interest as several students set to work on what could only be described as a monster. Its metallic exoskeleton glistened in artificial light. While it was still powered down, the sheer size and demeanour of the creation was enough to leave Rasu's hands reach for sabers, only to be met with the disappointed touch of her waistband. The disappearance of her beloved sabers still remained a mystery to her, one that would hopefully be solved and she continued on her journey.

"I don't think I would use the word... fun Matsu," Rasu chuckled nervously, "But they are certainly impressive. How did you come upon this discovery?"

"Master Syn is... Master Syn, he is usually traveling around going after Sithspawn in the galaxy with his normal demeanor." She said it and describing the shadow and compared to many of the silver jedi shadows he was a traditional one... he was very powerful was the best way to describe it. Silver shadows liked playing at spycraft and wanted an excuse to use the darkside... Jedi Shadows like those in the jadeite were forces of the lightside and never compromised... her dissertation describing them for padawans had made it quite interesting so were a few of the other ones she had worked on.

SHe though did look at Rasu as she seemed to be taking in the sight of the shadex and nodded. "There is a world, backwater really with not much on it on the surface... just desert wasteland but below there are things like this... larger granted some the size of star destroyers... that use to walk across the surface of the planet. They defended it from ancient civilizations that came to the world and something happened to erase most of the species name from history and their ruins but their constructs remained... largely inactive and buried. A few have been found and activated from time to time which drew my attention and interest and it wasn't until I faced off against one I was inspired to combhine the ideas of it with temple guardians."

She said it with a small smirk but looked at Rasu's waistband and gave a small nod. "If you would like, I can craft you a new saber or pair... we have developed much in the ways of jedi equipment. New Metal and oh so many other things." SHe said it while walking and the small garden was filled with new trees around the ancient uneti tree that had been burned hundreds of years ago but it still stood tall and proud. The trees around the ancient one though slowly shifted... Momokyun turning to look at the jedi but not moving much as they still looked like part of it but radiated the lightside of the force. Fuegomiri moving around on some of the branches and not aflame it was more calm and peaceful here.

The jedi master walked around and didn't step into the Hybrids flower beds as few here knew the value of them but she picked up one and held it there using a little of the dirt around it while she looked at in. "Oh these are developing nicely." She said it as looking up a small grouping of Rasu Class Jedi Speeders went by overhead. "Oh well thoe were named after you, some of the best inventions for the jedi have been named afterr friends that have been gone at times." She said it though and smiled as one of the padawans brought a small case. "These though are in case you need them, Korriban Robes based off of when we with Sochi and the jedi went to face the sith."

She went to the case though and held up a Jedi Compass. "So you won't get lost again, it can always find me or the places of the lightside. THe robes are protective and show many of the advancements we have worked on for protection and to aid in helping focus the jedi and lightside of the force." She said it with a smile though while walking the case over to Rasu that was filled with some other equipment. A survival pack for things. "It will also help if you think for it you can find your daughter in case she is in danger."

Rasu couldn't help but snort at Matsu's description of Syn. She was quite right, the man sat in a completely separate category that none could truly match. For that reason he had left quite the impression on the woman. The discovery of the Shadex intrigued Rasu greatly. Her desire to explore paled in comparison to her Atrisian friend. "You think you truly have a grasp on the galaxy and then one discovers something like this. It is truly impressive Matsu. You'll have to take me on your next adventure. I feel as if I've missed out."

"You are kind to offer my friend," she said, blushing slightly as she hadn't intended for Matsu to notice her little slip. "I'm not sure if I am ready to replace them just yet. They are more than just a weapon to me. I'd be saying goodbye to a lot of memories... and I'm in short supply at the moment." She forced herself to laugh at the last statement, rather than bring the mood down once again.

As they entered the gardens Rasu's eyes came to rest on the burnt Uneti tree. Without knowing it, the Shi'ido could sense the significant role it had played in galactic history. Funny how a tree could hold such power and history. Her attention shifted to the speeders whizzing overhead. They were out of sight in a few moments. She smiled warmly at such an honour. Rasu felt a longing to take a ride on one herself before the day was over. Surely Matsu wouldn't mind. She was their namesake after all, it would be wrong to not at least take the opportunity.

"These are beautiful Matsu. Thank you." Making sure to flash a bright smile at the Padawan as well as Matsu in gratitude. "I don't know how to thank you properly for the kindness you have shown me today." She looked down at the robes and admired the craftsmanship of the garment. It was heavily plated in mail yet seemed to weigh no more than a standard tunic. "Might I try these on?" she asked, excited at the prospect of upgrading her wardrobe... finally.

"Of course you can." She said it and looking at Rasu there was more then enough for the woman to do. "We have some rooms you could use or there are my chambers at the top of the temple." She said it aand motioned with her hands to guide Rasu. "There is plenty of adventure left in me and oh so many places in the galaxy one can still go and explore... I can even show you something that few others have been able to see let alone create." She was talking about The Ancilla which was a massive megastructure set outside of the galaxy in thw ell a vergence of the force that was being used by the jedi as a forge.

"You never know where one can go in the galaxy though and find adventure or what there will be. Even here on Ahch-To there is regions that have not been explored and mysteries beneath the waters."

Rasu returned to Matsu adorned with her new robe. Practically giddy, she embraced her friend, thrilled with her new outfit. "I absolutely love it Matsu. Thank you for this gift." Lifting her arms to feel the stretch of the armor, she gave Matsu a full display, twirling on the spot. For armor this garment moved so freely. It seemed to mold into Rasu's body shape and fix to her skin. She didn't want to sound crazy but it almost felt alive. Rasu could sense the attachment to the Light side of the Force and knew that this was just another marvel of Sasori Research.

"Please feel free to show me Matsu. I still cannot believe what you have accomplished here. I would love to continue."

The jedi master had found a way to occupy herself while Rasu was changing and sat there conversing with one of the tree like beings who didn't really talk but their voice could be heard in the resonating wind.. like an echoing laugh. She looked over when she heard Rasu and looked at her in and robed chainmail that was form fitted but designed to offer some of the best freedom of movement while being protective. THe jedi master bowed her head going over and taking a look at her. "Wonderful." She said it and motioned with one hand as two of the speeders were set up for them... there were plenty of places around the island and why not show her it from an aerial view on the speeder she had wanted to try.

"Shall we." The jedi master said it and rolled her shoulders as she climbed onto the speeder with a nod of her head for Rasu and waited. Then set off letting the companion AI of the speeder help her use it... the equipment was designed to work with the robes interface visor which were set up like earrings with the robes. The jedi master set the destination and there were other jedi on speeders as well as a few of the airships they used.. lower impact then actual ships and the caretakers liked them as they allowed one to fish off the sides over the oceans bbut didn't scare away the schools of fish. Matsu led the way towards some of the smaller islands that were branching off of the main on and spoke.

"Below there is a small cave entrance.. it goes down to the repository... just think a vault of tens of thousands of years of artifacts and items that have been collected from the jedi who came here and it sort of touches the surface of what was there." She said it and was showing the entrance that they had improved upon but largely kept it there in the cave as they had security in front of it and different researchers who were set up. Matsu motioned to some of the other smaller islands and they were showing pens of different livestock animals who provided food for the island and caretakers who were taking to raising them.

Rasu tried her best to hide her excitement. It would not do well for a Jedi of her rank to act like a giddy child so she maintained her composure as she approached the speeder. This vanished as soon as the visor materialised in front of her and her hands instinctively came to rest on the steering. She twisted the throttle, sending a loud hum through the vehicle. A wide grin appeared on Rasu's lips as she returned Matsu's nod and sent the speeder forward. Stars! It felt good to be in command of the speeder.

The island vanished behind them as the journeyed out into the open ocean. Small shapes began to approach them as Rasu identified the other islands that littered the planet. Other speeders approached on their journey and Rasu noticed the native inhabitants, Caretakers as Matsu had named them, piloting the vehicles with what appeared to be large fishing contraptions fixed to the rear. They gazed up at the pair of speeders as the two Masters sped past, appearing a blur.

As they approached a larger island, Rasu could make out colossal gates that she knew were evidence of another venture that Matsu had taken on the planet. The repository sounded intriguing and Rasu was eager to explore however she was not ready to give up her speeder. An idea came into the Shi'ido's mind.

"Matsu... feel like a race to the Repository?"

She moved and listened to the force around them as they approached and she looked at Rasu with a raised eyebrow. "AA race." She said it and had a grin that was getting wider on her face. "Well that would be something but are you certain?" She said it but wasn't saying no... she was looking towards the heavy doors they had installed and the repository was well one of the places you could spend a lifetime or five within and they were going to be going through everything for decades if they didn't get interrupted. She stood there and was looking at Rasu then back at the doors and then back at Rasu before she rolled her shoulders and straightened her hair.

"Alright then, first to reach the fighters they stored within there." She said it and relied on the force in her body as she was prepared for everything that they might encounter but she looked towards Rasu cracking her knuckles. "One... two.... three." SHe said it and gave Rasu the time to get ready as her hands went out to clear the pathway and the jedi master moved allowing the force to come to her limbs.. her legs feeling it deep in the muscles where they could go. She took off and her feet were light on the ground barely touching it as she used speed with telekinesis to lift herself and levitate to surge forward with less resistance.

Departing from the speeder, Rasu made a mental note to ask Matsu for a longer route home so she could have some more time with the transport. The aging Master had found she hadn't lost any of her instincts when behind the wheel and was eager to be let loose upon Ahch-To.

In the distance she could make out the large repository doors, their final goal. Rasu walked forward lining up with the Atrisian Jedi who was already cracking her knuckles in preparation for their trial. The Shi'ido arced her back and pulled her legs back, warming up the muscles for the sprint ahead. "Agreed, first one to the fighter bay. No hard feelings for what is about to happen." she said, flashing a cheeky grin in Matsu's direction.

"One, two..... three!"

Rasu pushed out with the Force, sending her into a giant leap forward, crossing several meters in an instant. Matsu however was already a few paces ahead. The Shi'ido could already feel blood pumping towards her legs as she broke into a sprint. Looking ahead Matsu appeared to hover over the approaching obstacles.

Grunting in frustration, Rasu looked ahead at the valley that led towards the repository doors. The doors sat kilometers ahead at the end of the valley however they had already begun to enter and a large cliff face began to grow on either side of the ravine as the pair of Jedi raced onwards. An idea developed in her mind.

Rasu called on the Force and leaped to the side, now above Matsu as she ascended along the growing heights of the cliff. She stretched out further through the Force and sent a sharp burst of telekinetic energy at the cliffside that Matsu was approaching. With a deafening crack, large boulder-sized rocks broke loose from the cliff wall and hurtled down the face of the valley. Matsu may not have been aware of the approaching danger, but Rasu was sure it would do her no harm. Hopefully it would slow the woman down long enough for Rasu to take the lead.

THey were off and Matsu was moving, her body in the air and propelling itself forward with the force as she focused the force to send herself forward... above the ground and then she was feeling Rasu as time seemed to slow down around them and her... her body reacting before her mind was catching up... she had worked to do just that and let her body reacts. She moved as the force created sparks and focused jets of focused flames at her feet and boots... like an ion engine being focused she picked up speeds sending herself forward and dodging in a corkscrew as she skimmed the rocks that Rasu was sending at her to slow her down.

Her mind was feeling Rasu well before her eyes and the jedi master raised an eyebrow before she twisted and brought herself up high into the air and she looked down swinging the rocks around with the force and sending them ahead of them before shattering and splintering them into smaller shards... a means to obscure the path ahead but she plowed forward. The hangers were important but the jedi master knew how to get there as she needed it when within the massive repository.. the caretakers disassembled and re-assembled the ships that had been brought here... like Jawa's scavenging which is why most thought no one ever found this place.

"Careful."

"Of course..." Rasu snorted as Matsu propelled herself over the rocks., flames appearing to erupt from her boots. She would have to remember that unique way of utilising pyrokinesis. The Shi'ido did not have long to linger on this thought, as already the rocks Rasu had sent her friends way were being fired back at her, shattering upon impact. The Jedi propelled herself into the air once more, twisting her body around a rather jagged boulder that would have squashed the woman.

A large dust cloud full of rock shards and other debris rose in front of her, blocking her view from the giant repository doors. Guided by instinct, Rasu pointed her open palm at the approaching cloud and fired a burst of Force energy forward. The Shi'ido descended through the hole in dust cloud as it began to fill following her pass. Controlling her descent, Rasu leaned forward into a roll as she made contact with the ground before breaking back into a sprint.

Spotting Matsu ahead, Rasu cursed her own actions suggesting this race. Stars, she hated losing. Deciding to take a trick out of Matsu's book to close the distance, Rasu focused Force energy around her feet and palms. Fire erupted from all four limbs and sent her rocketing forward. The gap began to close between the two Jedi, and in doing so, the doors signaling the end of their competition loomed closer. In one last desperate attempt to slow the Atrisian, Rasu fired three fireballs in Matsu's direction. She had no doubt her friend could deal with the danger however her hope was that it would slow her down enough for the Shi'ido to gain the advantage. Rasu was indeed showing her competitive nature in this encounter.
