Amour Rapide | CIS Dominion of Stobar

Kelsie took her feet off the table sat forward as a blonde woman plopped down in front of her. She gave the woman her perfect smile, and scooted in closer to the table before reaching forward and taking her hand, giving it a quick shake. There was a small tug in the back of her mind as she looked at Alvida -- she was hiding something. Then again, first dates were all about hiding all the crappy stuff about yourself, right? Kelsie was so lucky, she didn't have those problems. "Hey! I'm Kelsie."

She propped up her head on her hands as she leaned over the small table, keeping up her smile. "So, seems like they didn't really care much about matching, so gotta ask, are you into girls? If you are, great, if not, I'm sure I can help with that," she said, giving a coy wink. Kelsie's sexuality was... well, whatever she wanted it to be. And right then she was feeling like this girl was pretty cool.

As their group moved between the uproar of the room where the establishment had chosen to host what she assumed they likely thought was going to be a quite speed dating event, and into the bar proper, Valencia relaxed visibly. She turned to the pair of women, suddenly very aware that she was quite a bit shorter than both, even in her heels. It wasn't terribly uncommon, but it also didn't help that they were both stunning... It was always good to be humbled from time to time... But jeeze. She extended her hand to Madalena in the same way she had to Amelia earlier, though first, she had to do some fancy balancing between moving her glass and clutch to the same hand, her face open and beaming as she introduced herself, "Ms. Antares, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Valencia Hadley, Viceroy of Manda - and I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting. I've heard so much about you!"

She turned that smile back to Amelia as the woman suggested that they take one of the booths, and glancing at the collection of secluded little fabric booths, all huddled along the walls and a good deal more intimate than the open tables had been, Valencia smirked. "I suppose that would be a safe bet to get some privacy to chat." She did stop by the bar, however, leaning over the counter and asking the tidy looking droid there to please alert their table when the next round of table shifts happened out front. With some fortune in their direction perhaps they could rescue a few more people from the brawling out front... Assuming they weren't matching with any of the combatants. With that taken care of she joined the other women and selected a booth that would comfortably accommodate them all and slid in.

"So! Ladies! You'll have to pardon my bluntness if I'm misreading this situation - but I peg you both for fighters yourselves. Ms. Antares, you have on multiple occasions proven yourself as a warrior for the Confederacy, and Ms. von Sorenn, the more we speak I seem to recall you were also present at the battle of Eshan. I don't suppose that I'm holding either of you back from enjoying that bit of sport out front, am I?"

Smile. Do not give us away.

Narrowing her eyes slightly Alvida couldn't help but think the woman knew a little more than she was letting on. Or at least she was guessing at something. The voices conferred loudly as to just what that might be, but Alvida's attentions were elsewhere. 'Kelsie. It is a pleasure to meet you.' Her head titled to the side, the same way a curious pup would. Why was this stranger interested in her preferences? Was this some sort of romantic arrangement?

Alvida threw her head back in laughter, shifting a sheaf of golden hair from her shoulders. The smooth like Kelsie had pulled out of practically nowhere was something Alvida liked. Very much. 'I like you! You have the confidence of a wolf.' When her laugh teetered off into a sweet giggle she lent across the table and found her partners eyes with her own. 'I like all kinds of people. Gender is rarely thought about. What matters is what is in your head. Though my experiences have been limited to males I have to say I have never been more curious than I am now.' Alvida returned the sultry smile easily and lent her weight back into the chair. This was going very well.

Lace looked gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous.

The makeup just made her even more so, in Aya's humble opinion. Any woman or man would be lucky to have one like her on their arm. She put away her many makeup and beauty materials, before standing and straightening her own dress. Even modernized, she still dressed as close to her normal attire as Lace would let her get away with, but the shoes were far different. Personally she preferred not to wear heels, even with her preferred dresses (at least not very noticeable heels) which meant these were a bit much.

Still, she was able to walk just fine, if slightly wobbly every few steps as she went up to Lace. She laughed a little bit at Lace's comments, and nodded. "A rare and lovely doll then! Quite valuable I would dare to say." She laughed again, a little more confident in it, as she slipped her arms around Lace's, holding onto her gently. Lace had a bit of height on her, so it was easier to do that then anything else. "Now then my faithful bodyguard, shall we have a bit of fun tonight? 'Tis a shame we haven't the chance until now after all."

Kelsie was somewhat intrigued by the other woman's thick accent and odd manner of speaking. Kelsie was much more colloquial, but she felt the blonde was being a little more reserved about this. She again felt that little tug in the back of her mind to find out more -- she was interested in more than one way, as was the other woman. "Nice to meet you too, Alvida."

"A wolf, huh? I'd probably be a pretty big wolf," she said with a grin. Again, odd -- Kelsie liked wolves, of course, but she'd never had one randomly brought up in conversation like that... perhaps this woman was quite literally raised by wolves? She didn't dwell on it too much, she'd ask later.

She nodded back to her partner, agreeing with the sentiment. "Guys can get boring sometimes... but y'know, I tend to have the 'interesting' effect on most people," Kelsie said, once again flashing that pretty, coy smile. Alvida was very interesting... and Kelsie was hungry for a little more.

This was nicer than any event that she had ever had the chance to attend before.

Especially growing up in a village that was struggled to survive from season to season, Xobos would have never seen herself in this sort of event, especially not one where dating might be involved. It all seemed pretty silly, being set up with someone in this way, but the Miraluka figured it could be pretty fun if given the right opportunity.

When her apprentice sister gave her a disgruntled look, that optimism began to wane lightly. It almost completely evaporated when they made it to the table, only for them to sit in silence for a moment before Xobos took a deep breath and looked forward at her partner. “Look. If we can’t make it through something like this without high spirits, how in the world are we supposed to get through training or fighting together?

With a soft smile, knowing the mute would not be providing a verbal answer, the Miraluka watched her expression to try and see if her message got across. She assumed it would, then crossed her arms across her chest before trying to think up some sort of conversation starter that she both be able to understand and Shakti would be able to answer easily. With a small smirk, she leaned forward, patting her arm. “I’m going to have to get you to show me how you made those dagger sheaths. I want something like them eventually.”

Lace reached out as if to catch Aya as she wobbled, before rolling her eyes at the other woman. "I'd make a horrible doll, too muscular. I'm not dainty enough for that." A laugh escaped Lace's lips as Aya linked arms with her. Aya looked amazing, and Lace felt good that she was the one who picked out the dress. Although, both women would definitely be taking off their heels later in the night. Heels and being drunk were never a good mix.

Lace lead Aya down the streets of the city, towards Kahoshi's Lament, and opened the door for Aya. "After you, of course."

Objective: Learn about Adelle :D
Tags: [member="Adelle Bastiel"]

The massive droid had sat back in the chair, reclining into it with a hum, he looked at the person infront of him with a light hum, his metallic fingers no longer interlocking so he could drum his sole fingers against the table, his optical lens dimming a bit to save some power. Kaz wondered what was making this woman so-..rigid? It surely wasn't the hulking droid infront of her that could probably mow through this bar in a minute, surely it couldn't be that. Looking as she ordered a drink he almost chuckled, humans had always fled to liquor when stressed, so perhaps to seem rather- what was the word? Nicer? It would help his appearance, looking over to the server droid he waved him over with a single finger, letting his finger twirl in the air to catch the attention of the droid.

Kaz looked at the server droid running through basic drinks he could have, before going with he had before in previous bars, "One Ne'tra gal." The ultra battle droid said simply as the server nodded and scurried off to get the drinks, who would have thought to see a droid drinking-..liquor, it was rare, not rare but not even heard of. He looked back to Adelle, a pleasing hum coming from him as he watched her.

"This unit wishes to know more about Adelle.." Kaz spat out to get the conversation moving, not having done one of these before before nor was he made for it, but hell, it was a night off from combat and killing, the droid could use the relaxation. His torso turning to the fighting which had started, a light whining began to erupt from his sound vocalizer, soon lowering, he didn't want this night to be ruined, for him or Marshal Keva which who was unfortunately sat a few table away.

Kaz brought the glass up to his exhaust port that opened up near his shoulder and simply poured some inside to simulate him drinking the cup of liquor placing it against the table with a hum as he waited for a answer from the brunette.

Perhaps we should keep this one around?

Another honey sweet laugh, followed by the slow shake of Alvida's head. 'I must be honest when I traded for this ticket I had no thought to what I would be attending. I am a little surprised to find it is a date. But I find it is a good surprise and not a bad one.' She hoped it had come across in the right way. Sometimes, though her basic was up to a pretty decent standard, she didn't have the right words to quite explain what she meant. The voices often taunted her for this but she persisted in her attempts. 'As in to say I am delighted to be in your company.'

'I have no doubt about that. Back home we have a saying. The bigger the wolf the bigger the...' Her blonde brows raised up and down a few times. 'But I am not sure how to translate that to a woman.' The way her tone had gone up a pitch at the end of her sentence led Alvida to believe that this woman had no idea Lupine's existed. It wasn't exactly a brand new revelation. The only others of her kind were back home or had lived a sheltered life on a planet that wanted nothing to do with them. She wasn't at all surprised that they weren't well known. 'Yes, you are very interesting. You have the same attraction to me as a bee has to a flower. Irresistible.'

"Oh I would certainly buy a doll if it looked like you! Too dainty a doll and they break too easily. No toy is fun to play with once bisected by a child's hands." She was, dare she say, already enjoying the night. Banter was something she rarely had the time for, and that made moments such as these quite the reprieve. Aya was more than happy to follow Lace's lead, putting faith in her new-ish bodyguard to keep her in line tonight. For once she intended to actually relax, instead of doing half the job.

When they arrived, Aya bowed her head and walked in first, and almost laughed again. She had forgotten for a moment the stylings... "You certainly enjoy Atrisian with me, it appears. At the least I know where best to take you for our rare days off, don't I?" She giggled and drew a few eyes. They were by no means too overdressed, but they did stand out some. Perhaps Aya more so than Lace, all things considered. She almost could feel more than a few customers staring at her as she waited patiently for the Vi'dreya to come join her in finding a seat.

The droid ordered a drink of its own. Adelle tilted her head to the side as a quizzical smile spread over her face. Her everyday interaction with Leigh made her far more comfortable talking to and interacting with droids as a whole, but this was new. To be fair, talking to a droid that could crush her on a whim was also new.

"What would you like to know?" she asked. "I have done many things and seen many things. There's very little I will not talk about." Like the nastiness that happened to her on Coruscant. Twice.

The waiter brought their drinks and she took a sip of her whiskey. "But first, I've a question for you."

She pointed at the glass the droid poured into its exhaust with a finger, the rest holding the top of her glass. "Does that actually do anything for you?"

"Eh, I didn't really know what this was either..." Her eyes slid away from Alvida as she glanced around the room. She could tell the crowd here was pretty mixed -- was that a B2 over there? But there had to be at least one or two Viceroys, as she recognized Valencia. Honestly she was surprised there weren't tons of people here -- for one, pretty easy to seduce someone, get a room someplace, then shove a knife down their throat. As much as she liked killing people she also liked Alvida thus far. She knew there was a certain finesse required to hit it off with someone, but this felt more like Kelsie just being natural. "But if I get to hang out with someone as sweet as you I think I got my money's worth." But what was natural for Kelsie anyways?

This time it was Kelsie who threw her head back laughing. "Really? Your home sounds like a fun time," she said, her laugh fading as she looked back at Alvida, keeping up her flawless smile. She didn't mind too much now about the weirdness of the blonde's wolf obsession. "We'll say it translates to a dazzling personality and stunning good looks, mm?"

She put a hand on her chest and smiled. "Aww, thanks. If I'm just a flower, though, I think you'll have to do most of the work to get my nectar." She winked to her again.

Lace laughed at Aya's comment on dainty dolls, before smiling teasingly. "You just want to get in good with the Vicelord's sister, don't you, little miss Viceroy? Thy flattery does thee no good, thy foul foppish quisby!" Lace was, of course, entirely joking, and barely kept her laughter contained. Walking in behind Aya, Lace could immediately feel the stares of the patrons inside.

"In my defense, of the other ones in the area, I thought this one would be most to your tastes. And least likely to have a bar fight, of course."

"It would seem you have caught me in my act! 'Tis why I have stolen her away from her dearest brother to serve me and my house as faithful guard. Alas my vile plan undone, and thou art free to come and go as you please." She couldn't really contain the laughing now as she found a place to sit, and brought Lace there to join her. "You are not wrong, though a fight can occur anywhere if one tries hard enough. Tell you what my friend, I will refrain from such if you do the same." She gave Lace a playful wink, before they had one come by quickly to give them menus. Aya quickly ordered herself a drink, and waited for Lace to do the same.

When the waitress was done and left, she hummed a bit in her seat. "It feels quite lovely, to not be burdened for a time with duty. I was growing worried our lives would never have a moment to rest, nor the joy of freedom for even a day. When was the last we could go out like this, just you and I?"

Gods above was Taramaz sick and tired of everybody showing him up for things. Years of people not caring. But gods dammit! When they had the nerve to come to the same damn bar, and just start brawling, without even thinking about going to say hello to the person they're standing up! He waved the waiter over, and dumped a few credits for a Savareen Brandy. While he was waiting, he couldn't help but notice that there was a group of men, screaming mayelfa at the top of their lungs. Strange people.

The waiter placed the bottle down infront of the man, and Taramaz opened it, and looked at the contents. Then he looked back up at the crowd, and saw a woman sitting by herself, a Chiss lady. He stared for a minute, then looked back at his drink, and thought for a second, then got up, grabbing the bottle, and walked over to the Chiss ladies table, putting the bottle down.

"Here. You need this more than me."

Taramaz stood over the woman, hunched over to around seven foot. He slid the bottle over, with a few credits.

Cardinal had to duck to get through the hole he had made with Uthixo. He hadn't known what the adjacent building had been, but it revealed itself to be some type of night club. The lights that flashed around the room in a myriad of colors were a good indicator of that. When he stepped inside, Uthixo had already left one of the Gamorrean security incapacitated with a vicious fist to the alien's face. Cardinal smirked at the sight as one of the Gamorrean's charged at the man, an axe raised with deadly intent. Cardinal stepped forward, his fist flying towards the pig man's throat. The alien was cut short, dropping his axe as he reeled over at the pain of having his windpipe effectively crushed. Cardinal grabbed the brute's shoulders, slamming his forehead forward. There was a sweet crack that erupted from the impact. The alien squeezed loudly, falling to the ground helplessly.

Cardinal stepped over him while eyeing Uthixo. His sunburnt eyes were fixed, leaving nothing to be considered. The Sandali man pulled what remained of his blazer off, tossing it onto the marble ground below them.

He could feel the damage done to his body slowly mending itself, close the few cuts he'd suffered and mitigating the bruises that covered him. His fists tightened into large balls while he stepped forward, slapping his right fist against his chest just as Uthixo had done. A simple gesture, but it was an answer to the man's challenge nonetheless. There was nothing more to be said, so he charges. The Force flooded into his legs giving him a demonic speed, with his fist clenched tight he would aim a single fist for his opponents jaw. Time to return the favor.

She has fire in her soul, just like us.

Milk white fingers tucked a strand of golden hair behind her ear, revealing the heavily engraved silver earrings attached to her lobes. 'I am glad to not be the only one who was confused.' She followed Kelsie's eyes as they travelled the room, wondering what on earth she could be looking at, or who she could be looking for? Alvida decided to push the thought to the back of her mind, though the voices had other ideas and continued nattering back and forth. 'I would say I have gotten more than my money's worth. You cannot put a price on a woman like you, and even if anyone dared to try none could afford it.'

'If that is the case then you should come and visit. I am sure you would fit right in.' As she watched Kelsie and listened to her words a realisation crossed Alvida's mind. Why hadn't she thought of it before? Women, of course, were by far superior in every other aspect of life. Why couldn't they be superior in matters of romance too? It made more and more sense the more she thought on it. 'I am sure you will be surprised at just how much work this little bee would put into such a task.' Alvida used her quick green-blue eyes to scan whatever parts of the woman she could see. 'A task worth the effort, that much I can see.'

Flowers!

It had been forever since Krystal had been somewhere rural enough to have large gardens, and though she was loathe to admit it, she missed her countryside just a little. So when the man who walked to her table was carrying a colourful bouquet, she couldn’t help the smile that lit up her face. Taking the flowers as he handed them to her, she laughed softly. “No, don’t worry about it! It hasn’t been long at all, and these just about make up for it.”

This was the first time Krystal had been on an explicit ‘date’ - albeit a blind one - in quite a while. So when her new companion remarked he hadn’t done this before, she felt slightly more at ease. “To be honest, me neither. I’m Krystal, by the way. Probably should have led with that.”
She shook her head and lifted her drink. “I’m covered right now, but thank you!” Absentmindedly, she pulled a bud from the bouquet he had given her and tucked it behind her ear. “So, I should probably ask, considering I’m not sure everyone here knew quite what we were getting into…” She hesitated. “Are you single or just here for whatever noble cause our credits are supposed to go to?”

Krystal wouldn’t really mind either way, but it would probably be good to figure it out before the ‘date’ got much further.
