While his statement probably would have been taken personally by others, Ra did not see it as such. They stood on equal ground here as business associates.

Her eyes traveled over his form again, from head to toe. As if she was memorizing all his features. He said he had demonstration set up the next week on Krayiss. Maintaining her pokerface, there was no indication of her inside knowledge of what was going to happen there or on Eol Sha.
"Agreed, we will have to arrange for a meeting after that. Sadly, I will be at another location next week. Duty takes me all over and I rarely get the opportunity to stay in one place for long."
HIs request for her to contact him through more personal messaging did not go unnoticed and Ra nodded to Kainan.
"I went through your listed number this time since this was formal business. Unless there is a need for me to contact you again dealing with intelligence, I have other means at my disposal. Good day, Mister Wolfe."
Taking his extended hand to return the shake, she almost gave him a friendly smile. Ra watched as he left her office and she closed the door as he walked away. The intern there was ready and waiting to guide him from the building.
Next week would come as a surprise to him, but she was confident he and his company would be fine. Greener pastures would be found and then they could maybe work together on a more intimate level. Time would tell where this potential partnership would lead.
