An Interesting Introduction on a Sunny Day

Blasted planet. Shadav-arwena thought bitterly as she blasted the twelfth bug in an hour to disgusting shreds. She would like to imagine that her peppering those killer bugs with plasma bolts was her only problem, but she would only be imagining it. A while ago while traversing one of the darn and ancient caves of Pillio, her flashlight had died from lower power and when she was blindly stumbling through the dark, her eyes adjusting from the sudden absence of light, she walked straight into a gapping pool of water, soaking everything she had on her. Luck and maybe the Force had allowed her to escape from the watery pit, but that was all it did. Now she was soaking wet. All her electronics waterlogged and out of order. Her fur was plastered against her uncomfortably and the afternoon sun warmed the water to make her feel icky and in desperate need of a bath. The bugs were just cherry on top of this lost and irritated traveler.

This trip was supposed to be a quick exploration of the strange planet and possibly a quest to discover the secrets it held, but that had all fallen to hell. Now she had no idea where her ship was with no means to locate it right now. All she could do was find some higher ground to get a better view of her surroundings and maybe, just maybe, find the Light Skimmer.

THe world was something few others had seen... she explored it at first and then had encountered the bugs.. these creatures were strange. the amber like stuff they had been concealing. She had found old structures but not much, proof someone at one point had been here but whatever it was she was uncertain of. Then she had felt something else.. something in the force and in the world as she moved through the caves. She moved through them in the darkness and could hear the skittering echo all around her. THe jedi master had forgone her massive equipment packs, the small kojie bag would do well enough and her field satchel... eyes adjusted and ready to look into the low light of the cave while she used her smaller size to get through some of the tighter spaces. Slowly coming out into one of the smaller sections and tapping the amber hard enough to make it crack but not shatter so she could move slowly and carefully the pieces wiht the force to keep from attracting the bugs. Pillio wouldn't give up its secrets easily but it would give something when she was edging around a pool that had been disturbed. Signs someone had climbed out of it and left a trail to follow was important to her.
