Anastasia was born to a wealthy family, and lived a good life for much of her first three years of life. However, when she was three, her mother died giving birth to her younger brother, Peter. Within months, another tragedy struck. All but one of her older siblings died in a speeder crash, which left Anastasia in critical condition. She recovered, but lost all use of her right arm. Anastasia’s sister, Iosephina, cared for her and Peter, raising them till she believed they could live with only her father and his hired servants. During this time, Anastasia learned to deal with her right arm’s Inability to move.
