Kyber Salurra
Scrapyard Savant
Kyber sighed under his helmet before responding to Slate "I prefer to avoid AR's if possible. I'd much rather have a nice high nest and my sniper any day. Using an AR means close-quarters. Not my cup of tea." Kyber looked at his AR for a moment, checking it's magazine and looking it's systems over for who knows how many times already. After Kyber was satisfied he'd look about the nearby buildings again, seeing if there was anything he could actually see through the heavy rain. After Kyber was satisfied scanning the nearby buildings he cut through into the private comms; "Report in, men."
Every team reported in on time with no trouble, except the security in the lobby. It took them a few moments before they finally cut in; "Everything's fine, sir. The replacement shift Bounty Hunter has made it through the checkpoint with an all-green status. Our comms went down for a brief moment, however we got them back online. Obviously, sir." Kyber didn't like the sound of that. Just to be safe he radio'd the private bank security detail in front of the vault itself; "Report in, soldier."
". . ."
Dead air. Not a good sign at all, and Kyber was already tense. He contacted the lobby detail again with a tone more suited for a mortician; "Get your squad down to the vault, now. Check if Vault Security is having trouble with their coms as well. Keep your guard up. I'd like to think this was a coincidence, but be ready otherwise." After cutting communication with Kyber three out of the four men in the lobby headed down to the vault on alert.
Kyber muted his mic on the comm before looking over to Slate who would've been in on the private channel and asked; "I'm getting a bad feeling about this." Kyber sighed to himself before continuing; "I probably shouldn't of been so lenient on the Bounty Hunter. What's your take on the situation?"
