That said, Julius could work.. Because... Well... He is as good at Force Sense (Excepting danger precog) as a blind man is at seeing (right now).

Or, y'know... We could always go with Ijaat... If a surly, gun toting grump of an old man/weapons expert is your thing...

At least for me.

In the New Year I plan to introduce a new character. She will be Force Sensitive – but not initially. Bear with me; it’s going to get a little complicated before it makes any sense.

The Force Users I’ve RPed have been Jedi from a young age (or in the case of Maja was discovered in the first scene). I want to establish a character (say 500 posts as a nominal figure) that is nothing to do with the Force before she discovers she is Force Sensitive and learns all about it from scratch.

So far, not terribly original. And don’t get too excited that it will from this point on, but it is a little different (and in part inspired by another writer who posted a similar idea recently).

The first 500 or so posts will happen in the past. If she’s 18 today, they will cover the years 14-18. I see her as a smuggler/scavenger/keeping just on the right side of the law kind of character.

So I’m looking for characters to RP with that can appear in her past. We’d RP the threads as normal – and you could even re-meet her in the present day (once she’s discovered as an FU).

So…I’m open to general scavenging/searching type threads. Her early years will be on Tash-Taral. Ideally she get hold of an old ship at some point and leaves the planet – but plan to make that her base for all/most of the period in question.

Ohh, scavenging and the past, sounds interesting.

Question, does it have to be on Tash-Taral or can it be on the junkyard world of Jakku as that would coincide with my characters timeline. If not, will Tash-Taral is fine I can write that into Fanus's history. PM me back if you'd be interested.

I think mixing some of those ideas would make for something interesting. For example, something amazing could come out of a thread mixing #5 and #8.

Scenario example could be like this: A ship holding valuable cargo crashes on a hazardous planet and sends out a distress signal. However many participants in the thread will determine who all gets the signal and investigates. After all the participants investigate the crash site and discover each other, tensions rise. Participants discover the great worth of the ship's cargo and react however. Since everyone should be inside the crashed ship, they do not realize the threat of an approaching storm. The storm traps everyone inside the downed ship, making tensions rise even more with everyone being strangers and the mass amount of wealth surrounding them. (I'm thinking that the storm would have to be one of a colossal level, meaning that survival without shelter is unlikely.)

That would be just an example, could bring many scenarios from something like that.

Anyways, if I had to pick only one for [member="Zayden Madera"] to do, it would have to be #5. The one about the storm.

So if it's not yours, it means it occurs later in her story, nothing more than that. For example, getting fixed by a Doctor happens after she gets injured in a thread.
