I shall have to confess, I am a huge anime fan. But, not nearly as annoying as fan as some might think. I was introduced to anime after I spent a year in japan in my highschool years.
As for shows, I've watched too many to count. But I am HUGE Mobile Suit Gundam Fan- especially for the Universal Century timeline: 8th MS team, Zeta, Char's Counterattack. Also I have to agree with others: G GUndam is Love. I also enjoy the more romantic stuff, but I'm just a melodrama-whore. Personally though I am a old-school fanboy, Macross, Mazingar Z, Ghost in the Shell, Dominion Tank Police, Votoms, Patlabor, etc.
But, unlike some anime fans, I love non-japanese entertainment and art as well. I am a huge Star Wars fan, I have dabbled in Marvel (not much though), and general Sci-Fi nut.
I guess I'm just a good case of a global modern nerd xD.
