Anti-Sith League

[member="Tionne Thanewulf"] - What really is the gain from this besides giving the Sith bragging rights? Like... I'm not saying no immediately, but i'm just trying to understand some things based off rather scant details. Essentially it's just killing one NPC, there'll be some vague mentions outside that killing thread to his death. Maybe a thread for a funeral for him... And then there will be another NPC put in his place. Kinda pointless OOCly (though I can see the use ICly), but the very futility of it OOCly enforces it being a sort of 'Ok... Sure you can... Doesn't really mean much" sort of thing to me.

So... I get it... This Sith (which one is it, btw.. Curious..) wants to make a mark... Sort of what we are all writing here for, in one way or the other I suppose. But I'd like to know more of the plan since you're asking, before I can even try to formulate an opinion on the matter.. For instance.. How does he plan to accomplish this, as a prisoner? Does he expect to be able to flee to safety after doing so? Will he bring in outside help? Will this be a stealth op, or will this happen as a result of/during a full scale assault? Will this be an Open Thread for the whole Faction to react to, or hand picked by him/you for Opposition or Allies or whatever?

Also, I have no idea how the slaying of the NPC Government Leader of the GA is a topic pertinent only to your Anti-Sith League arc. Some people may not see this because they may not be interested in the threads topic. I'd really advise giving this little scheme it's own topic, as it's a pretty big choice I'm sure everyone, from the FA Team to general membership, should be allowed to weigh in on. Or, at the very least, the former of those two. Tucking it away in this topic could potentially really snip the prospective audience in the bud. Which I know, from watching how much effort you put into your plotlines, you definitely don't want.

All in all, it's an intriguing idea, but there is a LOT unanswered that I need answered first before I can really say anything on the topic much.

Our Chief of State is a Sullustan female. I've NPCed her a number of times. :)

Darth Kentarch is the Sith we are talking about.

He actually planned to board our ship Titania where Caita Xan(yep, that's our Chief of State) was and kill her. That's why he appeared in Kiffex space in the first place.

But I was smart enough to suggest that we drive him in his ship to Sullust and imprison him there, and not take him to Titania.

So, we now have a Sith and a Sith vessel in our possesion. The latter I will reverse engineer and take plans to Elrood to make a lightside clone of it. And then sub it to the factory.

And this is the reason why we will win this war.

As for the idea... it was a mere suggestion. We'll see how it flies here first.

[member="Tionne Thanewulf"] - I think somewhere in your last post I gleaned most of what I needed answered.

You still left a lot of pertinent questions in relation to this proposal out. And you also didn't really answer if you're going to give this a proper thread of it's own like it should have. Not doing so could potentially take away viewpoints and contributions that could really take this whole thing up a notch, and doing so has literally no drawbacks... But it's your ball right now.

Based off the still rather scant info you presented, i'm gonna have to throw my $0.02 into the side of 'Sorry, but no'. Not because i'm against the idea, but just because the idea as presented is too open for all sorts of abuse and twistiness. I'd rather actually know his plan before I say if I support it or not, but given most of the questions I asked remained unanswered, my advice would be no on it... For now..

Now if he or you can answer them later or some such? I'd be willing to change it easily. You have come up with some good ideas, even if ones not always my cup of tea. That stance of 'no' is my stance right now only because I lack the info needed to make a true choice.

[member="Julius Sedaire"] To be quite frank, I am curious how he would pull up a stunt to kill the Chief of State from prison, given how I wasn't a typical fool who would let a Sith Lord onto a GA capital vessel.

Merely expressed his intent... which will probably remain just his intent.

[member="Tionne Thanewulf"] - Ahhh... That was less than evident from your first post! I was wondering if it was the case from your second. But, well... Assumptions on my part usually lead to arguments and such. And i'm trying to cut that out.

I like the idea, like I seriously do. BUT my question is how would he do so?

[member="Julius Sedaire"]

Well, he underestimated GA and its members...and now he is stuck on Sullust.
That's what you get for being greedy.

And if we were having an argument, there would be pots and pans flying in your direction. :p

We merely discussed, not an argument. ;)

[member="Tionne Thanewulf"] - Hence why I tried not to assume... I'm rather tired (new puppy, sick, AND paramedic school AND full time work) so i'd likely just sit their numbly while being brained with said pots and pans.

To those that enjoy fighting and writing with him, go for it, like what Jacen had said, no reason not to indulge him. There is always room for storybuilding there.
