Private Antimony and Ceremony

Prophet of Bogan
"Yes set it down right there. Gently. It's very delicate." Darth Strosius watched the pair of workers slowly set down the crate with a hidden yet ever skeptical gaze. He knew He should have waited for some of His own forces to arrive before He went about arranging this little workshop, these Subterrel staff had little in the way of caution and respect for their equipment. Normally the auxiliary parts of the Tsis'Kaar had little issue with following directions but it seemed the crew today were rather obtuse. "That will do, carry on and thank you for your assistance." He waved off the workers and sighed in exasperation the moment they were gone.

He dearly missed His old workshop on Formos, this temporary one was far less outfitted than he'd like but it was a start. Something to hold Him over until a more permanent base of operations could be established, even if it did mean constantly brushing elbows with Malum's lackeys as a result. Darth Strosius quickly set to work unpacking the crate and arranging the contents within on one of the tables. The room was once a sort of spare storage area for tools back during the planet's mining days but with the Tsis'Kaar occupation the whole facility had been rearranged into a more suitable outpost.

:"Darth Strosius, we have an arrival. Shall I send her your way?": He paused as His comlink flickered to life, setting down the flask that He had been sorting and tapping the side of His helmet to respond. She was early, a good quality to have He supposed. Even if it did leave Him somewhat underprepared. :"Yes direct her here if you would please, thank you.": He glanced at the rest of the unpacked items and shrugged as He got back to arranging the tools and components at the workstation.

Alchemy had been an aspect of her training that Eira had little practice in but the acolyte was keen to explore it further. She was keen to explore what other things she could create with Sith Alchemy besides the simplistic toxin necklace that she had gifted to Lunara for the Life Day. It was something that she thought could be used in creating weapons, making her daggers, her sword, more deadly in combat than they were. To create objects that she could use more in combat and enhance her skills as an assassin.

Reaching out to the Tsis'Kaar, she figured that this assassin based cult would have some training or skilled users in alchemy to assist her in this training. It was also a chance to establish more networking and connections with other Sith and develop her presence within the Order better. The Sith acolyte was still growing in her powers and she was keen to familiarise herself with those much more skilled than she was currently.

A chance to see where she could be someday as long as she lived that long.

When Darth Strosius reached out, Eira was curious. She had heard intriguing rumours surrounding the Sith Lord and Darth Malum. It would be interesting to see what she could learn from the source itself on how the Sith Lord was like and what knowledge he had on Sith alchemy. This was not just a recon mission, it was training and someday, she could surprise Quinn with everything she had learned. Demonstrate some powers that the Echani princess had not expected her to have.

Guided into the room, Eira opened the doors and kept her hands beside her. Looking around the workshop, it was an interesting operation to have though it was clear that this was not the usual way that this Sith Lord operated. "Greetings Darth Strosius, I am glad that you agreed to help in training me on the Sith alchemy." Eira mentioned as she took a single step closer.

There was a subtle twitch of His head towards the doors as they slid open, a glance hidden behind His usual expressionless mask, but He didn't fully take His attention off of what He was fiddling with yet. When Eira entered the Sith Lord was seemingly inspecting some grey substance contained in a small flask, some sort of ash or dust from the looks of it. "Acolyte Dyn." He returned the greeting as He set the flask down and turned to face her, crossing His arms behind His back and offering a small nod.

"It is my pleasure to assist my fellow Sith in pursuits of such hallowed arts. Do forgive the state of things here, I haven't had much time to arrange everything as properly as I'd prefer." Darth Strosius cast a glance and a dismissive wave around the room for a moment before His attention returned to Eira. He stepped away from the table that He had been working on and crossed the room to stand in the rough center of it, tapping on the console attached to holotable situated there.

"I suppose it would be best to start with the foundations of alchemy yes? Ensure that your expectations of what's to come are accurate." While untrained by her own admission He had little doubt that the Acolyte would have encountered some products of Sith Alchemy at one point or another during her travels and regular training. It was almost unavoidable in modern times. A relief really, to know that such an ancient practice wasn't on its deathbed like other Sith traditions were.

"Now, what do you know of Sith Alchemy thus far? Its common usages and methods?"

Looking around the workshop, Eira wondered if she needed to look into getting her own place to work on the alchemy, it was a good start to see how a workshop was run and designed. Eira also couldn't help but admire the resources that were built here, it was something that Eira could only think of achieving some day forward. "It is understandable, Lord Strosius, hopefully some day I can achieve a workshop of my own." Eira mentioned, holding respect for the fellow alchemist.

Nodding her head, "the foundations would be a great start. I have only the basic in understanding and not done anything too exotic with the abilities when I have used them. I know how to create poisons but that is about it for now. However, I know that the alchemy some Sith have achieved enhance weapons, there is bio-alchemical where one can enhance beings but also create Sithspawn. I believe that Sith alchemy can also improve armour as well."

"What I wish to seek to learn is how to use it to improve weapons, armour and allow me to become a much better assassin. I desire to be the best assassin within the Order." Eira stated her desires plainly. There was no point hiding what she wished since all Sith had dreams and desires that they pursued. It was only part of what Eira wished but it was a path that would be a stepping stone to her end goals.

For now, she would have to confess some of her goals to achieve all of them.

"You should, they are vital for a Sith to operate." While He preferred a larger one filled with various equipment and workstations, one could make do with a smaller setup albeit with smaller results of course. The heart of an alchemy workshop was easily compactable or expandable after all, even a sufficiently sized cargo hold on a single person ship could house it and some equipment to operate it properly. He knew that for a fact as more than a few of His own followers made use of shuttles as mobile workshops in a similar manner.

As suspected Eira did indeed have basic knowledge of the art of the Sith Alchemy, that she was able to create poisons was a decent start already. While not often too applicable to the wider scope of alchemical work, in His experience at least, it did help provide some foundational skills that were useful to most processes that formed the basis of alchemy.

"Ah yes, the enhancement of equipment is among the most ancient and first arts to birth Sith Alchemy as we know it now. An essential practice for any Sith to engage in." Darth Strosius was more than familiar with that particular art of alchemy of course, His robes and armor were made out of alchemical practices almost as much as they were crafted in the more mundane sense. That she desired to rise high above her peers in the realm of assassins made Him hum in thought but He didn't speak on it. That could be a future discussion perhaps.

"The best method to improve weaponry, armor, and whatever else you may intend to is by infusing the materials that make up such objects with alchemical elements and compounds." As He spoke He moved over to one of the tables and plucked a small ingot of crimson metal. "This is best done with some sort of alchemical medium, this metal here is one such example of them. Sarrassian Iron. It inherently resonates with the Force and as such is a prime addition for those seeking to enhance their equipment." He set the ingot down and instead reached for another container.

"However, I would also recommend learning to make such mediums yourself for the best results possible. Come and watch, this process is more art than recipe." He grabbed a metal vial as well as the container, then a pouch, before moving over to a basin in the rough center of the room. One inscribed with Ur-Kittat writing and symbols. "You can use a variety of materials and components but there is one key ingredient that you will need to make any alchemical process viable. Something that was once alive, that was once flowing with the Force as all living creatures are, is necessary." As He spoke He opened the pouch and poured out some white powder, flakes and particles of bone dropping into the basin.
