"I'm certain we will, you delicate little Jedi, you." She smiled before motioning for a droid to bring some food in. Vanessa had gotten some high quality foodstuffs and was currently waiting for Lilla to get comfortable so the two of them could eat before she released the tainted Jedi into the wild. "Now get your food off this droid and we'll enjoy this scrumptious little morsel together. Does that sound alright to you?"

Vanessa certainly hoped so.

Lilla appreciated she was being toyed with. There was a natural hierarchy when it came to Force powers. She was no match for the Sith Lord that faced her – not in a combat or confrontational dimension at least.

But that did not mean she automatically had to bow down to the person – to accede to every demand. What she had, and could never be shaken, was a belief. A belief in what she was doing was right. And, as she interpreted the Code, that meant that upholding the greater good was more important than any individual – especially one’s self.

So, she would continue to have dialogue with the Sith, and she would be patient. Therefore, she waited for the food to be brought to her and took the offering from the droid. To Lilla, food was fuel. She could recognise the difference between field rations and a restaurant quality meal – but she took limited pleasure from the difference. But it would be discourteous to refuse the food, and so Lilla replied to the Sith.

“Thank you for the food, I appreciate your hospitality.”
