Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Matsu had taken some time away, mostly to with her padawans like Sorel study what they had been able to find. Holocrons and books were all very nice but sometimes you needed to know how best to implement them in things. One such tool was the light armor they had developed and worked on as she looked over the design specs in the lab on the Harlequin. All of the hard work that had been going into things left her looking over with her attention on some of the larger projects. The hardlight projectors to give them space and an area was there with Sato.

"Lets start with the more important things, we'll begin by testing the upgraded components we have made into the armor and provide a superior level of protection to our customers." She said it and there was well the fun from the ones who she had ben training to act as operators of the companies she had bought or made. They were working on the things as the holographic squite was displaying the light armor with the bodyglove and ranger's equipment.

"We'll be able to use the new techniques we have learned from construction of the ranger's gear to implement better levels of protection. THe boots are proving superior to our needed uses as well as the upgrades we can make to the gloves. With increased production values of them and the shipments of crystals and phrik we have gotten we should be able to get them one some of the new models for use. Maybe even up the manufacturing of them."

The workers were showing the different things while they were bringing up the design specs of the gloves, the phrik and crystal laiden crushgaunts were an improvement over the normal ones and could work with the power armor liners to enhance as needed. The diagram for the boots were there that the rangers had worked on while she was workignt o switch and change them over. The duraplast plating was being reinforced and upgraded for more of the armor.

"We can transfer over the boots as well, the bodyglove will be able to use the armor plating over its already substantial protection and... lets see here." She was looking at the helmets and tubing they could do in it. She was going over the designs and levels of protection it was showing as the crystal weave they used could provide force users utalizing the armor with a way to attune the armor and turn its already superior protection into something even more just to mess with people.

"It is looking good." She said it to herself and them as they were bringing out and setting up the first real tests for the armor. She wasn't looking forward to soem of it but they could do the initial tests here and now for it. Test out the durability and just break it downt o what was working and what was functioning before several of the other things got out of hand. "Alright lets get out testers suited up and into the coarse." Here they could test the holodeck as well with the safety levels while the jedi and ranger's were gearing up. Nothing lethal enugh to kill but lethal enough to do some damage.

The jedi master finished finalizing the first stage of the designs as the machines were going to work on all of it. Her rapt attention on the different parts they had made to construct a whole suit when the time came with some interchangable parts. All that would be left is a proper helmet and style hood or cloak if they could wing it to go with everything else like the accessories... Something the armor wasn't going to need like the compacted ion booster pack or the harness with pouches.

The gauntlets with wrist weapons were not required yet either nor the stealth and shieling units they could equip on them. She just wanted to work with her men and women testing it while the hardlight projectors made the walls and soldiers that would be firing upon them. She gave a nod to a few who were geared up in the bodygloves and sliding on the plates of duraplast to provide the protection they needed and wanted. Easily able to slid over the bodyglove as it was designed and the compacted armor looked normal but not bulky.

"Looks good." She would be able to say it while they worked with some of the other plates to apply the Sasori crystal coating for infiltration units to provide additional choices. Her attention w\once it was done gave a few reports and ideas before she was entering the chairs to be over and observe. They had been working to manufacture more of the holodecks for use in temples and expanding on their abilities to provide training. With the joshu reactors could make gear and clothing for training.

The jedi master took her seat sitting back while Quiet brought her attention to the displays of the holograms showing the armor and work going into it. The readouts of how it was preforming when the ones within were running around with each other. She brought up the display and a shield in case of stray shots turning her eyes to focus and watch all of them. "Begin." The klaxon went off while she was moving with the screen following them.

Lazing in his Ceiling Chair a Zeltron swung around, whistling as the echoes of the Pitt radiated through his room. After a few seconds a message appeared, his commlink opening up as a series of words and letters appeared before him, his eyebrow raised as he looked at it with misery in his eyes, "Arrrgghhh... why do I always have to read! Why can't the Gammoreans just read it out." he moaned as he rolled out of his chair, his arms swaying and pulling him down as he walked closer, "Grr.. Work... Merc... Master.... Test Fire... Wait Test fire?" he said as he re-read the last part, "Oh yeah cool. Test firing. Maybe the Merc. Legion has some real work after all." he said as he went to Armory that looked suspiciously like a clothes Cabinet.

He rummaged through, grabbing only his DEMP rifle, leaving his armor in a duffel bag as he felt the familiar fabric of his trenchcoat pull along his skin, he pulled up a link and sent a message to one of the Pilots to get a ship ready. He didn't care what one just a ship. After an hour of dawdling about the Pilot returned the message, a ship prepared and the coordinates caught. "Ok sweet. Lets get this show on the road then I suppose." he uttered as he walked towards the Hangar, the heaving of the Pitt's gears echoing as he started his ascent towards the hallway.

After a few minutes he had arrived and laid in his seat as the roars of the ship were made, echoing throughout the Palace as it made its way headlong towards the Harlequin. After another few hours the ship descended from hyperspace, slowing itself down as it made its approach to the ship, a nod was given as the pilot turned on Channel towards the ship, "G'Day, Thraxis here, I was told by the Merc. Legion that you requested assistance and am just the man for the job." he said as his hand rummaged through his coat, he hadn't taken any of the booze out of it for months and left it there to ferment, uncorking it the scent caused a noxious scent to consume the pilot, a series of coughs and almost chocking continued as Thraxis shrugged it off, "Oh toughen up. Its just a few months out of date." he said as his hand dropped back, pouring the beverage down his throat as he looked towards the channel. "So, whatcha need done?"

Yen looked at the ones there while she had suited up, letting the armor rest and hug everywhere. The bodyglove was nice and form fitted, the duraplast armor plates. The vibration of the field was there to help with the shots when she was leaving her face exposed. THe rifle she was using was a nice one, the sleek hybrid plexisteel casing and six berrals to fire a whole lot of slugs wrapped in energy instead of just one or the others... and it had a lot of slugs to shoot whle she braced it against her shoulder. Plenty of toys these rangers had been giving them with the contracts so they could preform their jobs so she was just happy to get to shoot things.

"Alright boys lets go and have some fun times." THe grin was there all wicked and kind of cruel but what else was there to say when it came to shooting and killing things.... well holograms. These would serve best for the mercs to practice with so she would have to make sure Cynthia did her thing and bought them a few of these here holodecks for ship and the like. "Ready when all of you are." She looked at the two recruits with her and the others while taking off into the course the holograms were laying out. She had full attention on some of the things while shifting from target to target as the purpose was to test the armor but she couldn't just take all of the hits... no had to be smart about it.

She was moving quickly and carefully keeping track of everything she could that was there in the first series of targets. She hefted the rifle as one fired and impacted the armored shoulder pushing back at it but the duraplast served its purpose. Letting her stay steady enough to fire several rounds into the holograms stopping them before she was moving through the rest of the course. Getting shot in the armored plates and returning fire as needed to so the data was there. The ai directing them as needed before differeing ammo tyoes came at them ranging from slugs and energy shots to laser as well as grenade and ion weapons. All and all she was rather impressed at the duraplast.

It was preforming as it was advertised for them with superior protection and since it was going over a bodyglove that was lightweight it allowed some more freedom of movement to her small squad. The merc stopping just long enough to check her belt and combat knife while she preformed the melee proper test wise showing that the blade couldn't penetrate ir easily same as the lightsabers that the droids were using to attack them. The protective nature of it easily impressing the recruits who didn't know the value of armor that wasn't phrik or beskar. This actually offered them more protection then those two at a medium weight compared.

"This is not leather but it will have to do..." Anthony muttered trodding across the test field in the somewhat light armor. He frowned at the fact that is was not comfortable, but he needed the honest credits just like anyone else. He pulled the test rifle off his back, which was slightly heavy to him. He raised it up at a target and fired at it, shooting its head off. He smiled. "Well, this rifle works just fine. It's a bit heavy though. I should probably train." He held the rifle to his chest and began running around the arena trying to get used to the armor and gun weight. [member="Yen"]

So much data to pour over the information it was glorious to the processors this small portion here nd there. THe quality of the armor, the direction of the fire, the shots ringing out, all without a filter and live. Yes this was one of the best ways to observe these humans in their well artificially simulated environment but it was a natural way they fought and went after different things. "Data streams from drones incoming, analyzing and processing." The ones from Saotome were working hard as well, keeping all of their interests on different things but they were professionals when it came to safety.

At least that wasthe hope and what we knew was the jedi masters intention. This was to keep people safe, a stronger shield to go against the growing number of blades and guns in the galaxy. So why not spare a few processes here and there to the cause as it were and help them out. No real skin off this AI's bck as it were and it amused while awaiting new informational inputs from the padawans wh were sharing their experiences from missions and exploration. All data fed into here, this system this AI for the making of their new updated star charts and secret locations of interest.

"Processing, combat rating of armor is operating ten percent above projected numbers by Saotome operators. Additional data required but we have most of the information required for stage one trials of phase seven armor to satisfy requests and demands. Application of Sasori optical coating is still required and adcanvced shielding systems from Raxus expedition." There we go that should make some of the bean counters there happy while they try and mirror these skills for a fraction of the time that is naturally done. "Quiet out and processing additional information per request."

Yen was looking at the one recruit and raised an eyebrow but he was proving effective as she spoke with a grin. "The weapons are tougher and more lightweight. We'll get you in the gravity room to build up those muscles." She had the lightweight rifle prepped and ready shifting her targets while blaster bolt struck her chest and dissipated on the field and plates. Higher setting maybe not so bad she could think of while moving with more of the attention for the drones and information to go to the computers. "Make sure you are getting everything recorded, the light armor is very good at protection against the hardlight shots."
