As Fate Would Have It

Hemlock soaked up every word the woman spoke, her very voice like law to the Draethos. In his two hundred years of living he hadn’t felt as open and connected to the Force as he did in that second. His fingers started to twitch just thinking of the amazing things this Feenarah would be teaching him. He could tell that whatever nudge he was having about her power, whatever inkling he had that she was more than met the eye, he would be in for one amazing learning experience.

It wasn’t long before the conversation got averted however, broken by the gasps for air Vexex choked out. He called for Hemlock’s company. It wasn’t long before the deep ruby hands of a caring friend grasped the moisture farmer’s arm once again. Hemlock closed his mind to the outside, to nothing else but the Force and its washing currents. He wasn’t sure if Feena had followed suit in his rush to Vexex, all the Draethos knew was that he had to help his friend. He would be the conduit to the Force his patient and friend needed to live.

The Eternal Queen
The healer followed to the moisture farmers side, but she did not intervene. There would be no need. Besides, she wanted to see hwat he could do, this new student of hers. She had been greatly impressed by him so far. What more could he do?

"That's it," she whispered, "Breathe. Steady."
