SKILLS:
Asha is a Jedi Sentinel, and thus her skillset is based around a balance of Force and combat; of offensive and defensive. She is a very capable healer and medic, and is close to becoming a fully fledged doctor alongside this. She is fluent in three languages: Galactic Basic, Mando'a and Epicant. Her chosen forms combat wise are Niman in conjunction with Jar'kai, although where necessary she will slip into the conservative form of Soresu, due to her flippant health. Her strongest Force ability is that of Telekinesis, and she has gone so far as to begin learning Ballistakinesis, a notably unorthodox move which only members of the Jensaarai knew. Due to the early years of her life, Asha is a natural mechanic which could be one of the accounting factors to her becoming a Sentinel. She is also highly adept at subterfuge, stealth and deceit, more often than not masking her true identity to aid in her investigations. Asha was born with the innate ability of Empathy, which gives her a higher understanding of those around her. Part of her time amongst the Mandalorians, alongside Windrage, left her with a grasp on ranged combat, yet it is something she is opposed to using.

BIOGRAPHY:
In the year 814 ABY a set of Epicanthix twins were born upon the remote forest-planet of Panatha. They were named Ashallyn and Ralen Vaux, and were the light of their parent's life. Such small bundles of joy, as is expected with twins, the parents were amazed when both survived their first month, for their living conditions were not what one might call ideal, tribal huts and infrequent meals, it was a wonder any of them survived against the natural elements and native fauna. Ralen was significantly stronger than his counterpart, his growth was faster and not only did he put on more weight but he held it, whereas the smaller of the two, Ashallyn, suffered severe health issues. And yet she survived.
Just a year into their lives the pair were separated, when their Father, Khahur, went missing one day with Ralen in tow. Devastated, although one might argue it a farce, Ashallyn's Mother decided that the pair could not survive without them, and thus sought a way to leave. Luckily for what remained of the family Serenyi, Ashallyn's Mother, met with a traveller, of which Panatha had few, who was willing to take them away. His name was Alexis, and he transported Ashallyn and Serenyi across the Galaxy to a planet which vastly contrasted with Panatha. Cadinth. And, coincidence or not, Alexis remained with the family for four years, providing for them and helping them to settle fully into their new surroundings.
In 818 ABY a child was born to a broken family on Cadinth. She was named Phoenix, and was loved by all her family. No one more so than her sister, Ashallyn, who adored the little girl and saw it as her duty to protect her. As they grew the pair were inseparable, especially during the darker years where Ashallyn's Mother and Phoenix's Father argued. Eventually Alexis left, and the family suffered, falling into decline. Serenyi was forced into slavery, and spent prolonged lengths of time away from her beloved children, whom she would have done anything for. The task of running the home fell to Ashallyn, who at this point was only seven years old. Her attention fell mostly upon three year old Phoenix, whom she affectionately referred to as Nix, and while they may not have had everything they wanted or required the pair were happy in one another's company.
One evening, in 822 ABY, Alexis returned. He had little time to explain his situation, demanding money, refuge, anything which would keep him safe, before the door was thrown open. Judgement day had arrived, and Alexis was found guilty of all charges: theft, smuggling and even murder. Yet Serenyi would not believe it and, putting herself between the bounty hunter who had come to collect the Father of her Daughter, she paid for it with her life. And all for nothing, as Alexis was still hauled off, the girls remaining unfound, or unsearched for. Ashallyn had witnessed it all, but protected Phoenix's view. She left with her sister to venture forth into the outskirts of Saskapeg, where a vast mountain range spanned in the desert. Seeking out a cave, the girls made the wild their home. It was pure luck which kept the girls alive - Ashallyn resorted to scavenging and petty thievery.
One day salvation appeared right on their 'doorstep', so to speak. Two Jedi who claimed to have been led by the Force infiltrated their cave. Offering the young girl's a better life, Ashallyn was at first sceptical. However, they did not have much time to make a decision - the Jedi had been followed, by a Sith Knight who was seeking recognition. In the fight which followed one of the Jedi, known only as Windrage, was injured. While the second Jedi, whose name was never mentioned, fought off the Sith, the young girl tended to the wounds of Windrage. When he remarked that she seemed a natural she retorted with the fact that she'd had to look after a small child - first aid was a must-know, and she had learnt it out of necessity.
With the threat removed the young girls were more than prepared to leave with the Jedi, worrying that yet more of the Sith would make their way to their home. Yet as they left disaster struck, and Phoenix was snatched up by the Sith Knight who had previously fled, and made off with her. The Unnamed Jedi put up a chase, and did not return, nor did Phoenix. Ashallyn was taken by Windrage, away from Cadinth and the Outer Rim Territories.
Ashallyn, then known simply as 'Asha', was brought back to Coruscant, however upon noting how poorly she responded to such a busy planet Windrage soon left with her. Instead he began to train her as they travelled, and despite the conflict which had brought them together they formed a close bond. Although Windrage would never officially take her as his Padawan, their relationship was very much akin to such, and while she never got over the loss of her Sister, Asha learned to move on with her life and come to terms with it.
Training under Windrage was intense at the best of times, and yet most of her focus was on handling situations, training with her lightsaber and the basics of Force Usage. Asha excelled with Telekinesis, far beyond what one her age might usually achieve. The majority of her time spent in the first four years as a Jedi was spent in training. Her signature Form was that of Niman, and Windrage's way of teaching it was unorthodox at best. She was made to learn and train in the foundations of each of the forms which predated Niman, as well as Jar'Kai, to fully understand the ways in which a lightsaber could be used. But generic training would not be enough for Windrage. They soon moved onto something all together different.
