STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
+ Asha is skilled in the usage of blades, specializing in the art of the second form, Makashi. She enjoyed practice in Soresu and Shien in addition to those, but is not as skilled in those forms. The experience that comes with time however is not on her side.
+ Asha is nothing if not headstrong. She will not let people get to her mentally, and is simply incapable of giving up even in seemingly hopeless situations.
+ The vampiric gift imparted to Asha has given her biological immortality. She does not show any signs of aging and is immune to things such as poison and disease. This does not mean she cannot die however. Mortal wounds can be fatal, and Nightshade is highly toxic to her.
+ Asha’s vampiric gift allows her to heal more quickly, which can be further accelerated by feeding on others, although that will lead to that person’s death. This way she can recover from wounds that would normally be very severe. Small wounds such as minor scrapes and burns will heal almost instantly.
+ Being a vampire has given Asha heightened senses, increasing her sense of smell and hearing, as well as granting her natural night vision.
- The traits of a vampire are not all positive. Asha is highly and aggressively photo-sensitive due to her allergy to ultraviolet radiation. Exposure to sunlight will cause burns and blistered skin and prolonged exposure will cause severy injuries. Looking into direct sunlight will strain her eyes greatly.
- Asha has developed a 'silver allergy', which in truth is a nickel allergy which is often mixed up due to the prevalence of silver-plated nickel jewelry. Upon contact her skin will burn and blister much like her allergy to ultraviolet radiation, and prolonged exposure will lead to dire injuries that will not easily heal.
- In order to sustain herself she is forced to feed on the blood of another. If she has not fed for a prolonged amount of time she will get progressively more feral until her hunger is sated. She often feeds on her defeated enemies to prevent innocent lives from being taken as much as possible.
- Asha has only recently become vampire, even when looking from a human’s time perspective. She is not yet fully accustomed to it nor does she have the power or control an older vampire would have.
- By and far the most relationships Asha had built in the past ended with a falling out or death. Due to this she often struggles with accepting people into her life as she is afraid to lose those relationships as well.

Asha sports white hair which is often tied up. She is 6"1', which is taller than the avarage human, and has pale skin due to her inability to stay in the sun for too long given her vampire blood which caused her to develop a UV radiation allergy. While her eyes are green, they will turn a bright yellow during times of emotional distress. Her already elongated canines and latheral incisors will elongate even further in those situations as well. She is not afraid to flash those teeth as an intimidation tactic, but tries to keep them away from view as much as possible. She has a scar underneath her left eye from a sparring partner who wasn't careful enough and struck her. She does not mind the mark, however.
BIOGRAPHY:
Pre-RP:
The majority of Asha’s life wasn’t spent as a vampire. She grew up in a loving and caring family on Selvaris as the only child of a huntsman, Gideon, and his wife, Meana, who would then trade the hunted game on the market. Asha herself showed promise in her bladework, something she was always interested in. Her rigorous practice over the years made her stand out amongst her peers and her skill was her greatest pride.
The family Mataya lived a simple life, but a happy one. On the surface, there was nothing remarkable about the family, and Asha thought that to be the truth. Unfortunately, she was wrong. In reality, her father wasn’t as innocent as he seemed to be. His trips were not just to hunt game, but also to run his spice operation. Nobody else in the family knew of this, and when he didn’t come back after a week of hunting Asha and her mother were afraid he had gotten in an accident. In truth it was a spice deal gone wrong, which cost her father and his compatriots their lives. They never found his remains, but did find a stash of spice in his hunting shack when Asha and her mother went to see what had happened.
With the main breadwinner gone her mother was forced to both work many hours and take care of Asha, which strained her and their relationship greatly. When the daughter was eighteen they had a large falling out, causing her to pack her things and leave. Now a wandering soul, she travelled the galaxy on her own trying to find her place when she met Jace. A man not unlike her, someone who looked to find solid ground, and together they explored planet after planet. Most assumed the two to be a couple, which definitely had been used to their advantage more than once, but they were never more than close friends. Still, Asha cared a lot about him, and his somewhat brash personality often got him into trouble forcing the woman to cover him. It was because of this that disaster would strike for the white-haired woman once again.
After a particularly bad encounter between Jace and a stranger the argument ended with blasters being fired in a cantina. He and Asha were chased out of the place and even the city, where eventually the blaster fire caught up to Jace. He was hit and severely wounded, causing Asha to panic and drag him to what she thought was a hidden place. It didn’t take long for the hunters to find her however, and she was forced to leave the dying body of her friend behind and run. It was to no avail however as she was hit minutes later, leaving her for dead.
It seemed fate wouldn’t allow her to die, however. The Sanguinius Vampirika by the name of Amelia Sorenn-Syrush found Asha’s almost lifeless body, and did what gave her the only chance of survival: Impart her vampiric gift onto the woman. The chance of her surviving the offering of her blood was extremely slim, but Asha’s mind and body were resilient enough. She miraculously survived the transformation which allowed her to recover from the blaster hit, something she feels nothing but gratitude towards. After the event she was offered to join House Cyrush, which she promptly accepted. She felt like she had finally found the place where she belonged.
