Asking for guidance

Trying to quickly catch his breath and muster up the remaining energy he had, Reggie kept his guard up. The Padawan didn't allow himself to relax until Josh had motioned him to back up. He let out a sigh while deactivating his lightsaber, making sure to keep his posture instead of letting himself sit on the ground.

Reggie grinned as Josh told him that he did well, happy that he didn't disappoint the master. He would practice what he's learned regularly, making sure his skills didn't deteriorate. Reggie took Josh's hand to shake, appreciating Josh's help.

"Thank you Master."

Letting his mind wander for a second almost made him miss what was said. Was he just offered to learn under master Dragonsflame? Yet again, he became excited. Having someone to train under was something Reggie missed, especially since it helped him progress better when he learned under one master. He nodded his head in reply.

"Yeah! I would be honored to be trained under you Master Dragonsflame!"

He had accepted, then. Josh smiled gently as he nodded his head. “I’m glad to hear that. I can’t exactly just let someone of your talents try and make your way through the ways of the Jedi on your own after all” He spoke up. “So from this day forth, you’ll be training under me. I’ll have a training schedule sent to your datapad when I get the chance. In the meantime, practice what I have taught you. Apply it, stay dedicated to it, never give in, never give up and always keep moving forward… And you will do just fine, I’m sure. If you have any issues, or anything else you’d like to work on… Well, I’m sure it won’t be hard to get my contact information from the front desk. If you need me, I’ll be there.”

He chuckled a bit. “That’s my job now, after all.”

He held out a hand to shake. “Welcome aboard, Reggie. The Dragon School is happy to have you.”

With that, he supposed it was time to end this session. “For now, you’re dismissed” He spoke up with a gentle bow. “I am eager to see your progress, with time and effort.”

This was a day to remember, for it was assured to change his current path as a jedi to one with more guidance.

"I'll be looking for to obtaining the training schedule from you, and I'll make sure to come to you if I do have any questions.....which I'll warn you may be often."

Reggie was always trying to learn and improve, so going to Master Dragonsflame often for help was a given.

"I look forward to working under you Master."

The Padawan bowed and began to leave the room.
