At the comments regarding loyalty, she nodded. “Which is why the majority of the Sith-Imperial veterans are loyal to one person - that being me. I have always, even in my past, sought to provide for those who served me knowing that their loyalty would remain absolute without any sort of mental influence or brainwashing. But Kaine does prefer more aggressive methods… makes him believe at least that they have fully submitted to him. Maybe it’s a kink for him, and who are you to shame him for it?” She laughed.
Valery's eyes narrowed at the woman when she made her final comment, but there was no verbal reply — she simply looked at Onrai and let out a soft sigh. She viewed herself as a goddess worshipped by many, but Valery wasn't going to challenge that sort of thing right now. She wanted the focus to remain on Kaine.
"I'm sure he's got his plans," Valery finally said as the topic shifted to stopping him.
"But so do I, and as long as I'm breathing, I'll do what I can to keep him challenged. Perhaps destroying him completely is deemed impossible by many, but the immortal Sith Emperor I remember from the days of the Old Republic believed the same thing." Valery said, clearly still hopeful that somehow, any great evil could really be stopped.
"But if that was all you had to share, I could use some rest," Valery looked at Onrai, gauging her reaction to these words. She hoped there was something else that was important that she could share, but if not, this had at least been somewhat useful.
