GENERAL INFORMATION
OVERVIEW
Athena is the newly elected monarch of the Ophissan people. She is considered the youngest Ophissan to ever serve as the monarch, and must guide her people into an uncertain future. Athena is a survivor of the Cataclysm that struck Naboo, and also a survivor of the Memorial Day Mayhem that happened a year later. Her and her people are indirectly affilated with the Royal Naboo Republic.

HISTORYHISTORY
Athena never knew her true birth mother. Her birther mother had given Athena up as an egg to an Exalted Den Mother, as she felt she wasn't ready to bear the burden fo raising a clutch. Not that Athena felt ever saddened enough that it prevented her from doing her duities. The Exalted Den Mother that nurtured and raised her, encouraged Athena to always push herself beyond her limits. During her formative and young adult years, Athena triessly worked on her combat prowess and military knowledge. She became a fine huntress for the Ophissan people, participating in high risk hunts of Naboo's dangerous wildlife. Not to mention she was a feared combatant, especially in the many skirmishes against the Gungan people.
When the Cataclysm hit Naboo, Athena was one of the many warriors who fought against the Great Devourer's creations (The Netherworld rifts and minions). For the year that Naboo was covered in darkness, Athena fought off the various would be looters or wannabe warlords. There were times that she also fought alongside the Naboo in defending the world, cementing her respect for them. But a year later at a memorial celebration in Theed, a plague broke out. An Ophissan was present who unknowingly brought the disease to the rest of her people. The plagu devasted the Ophissan people. Athena watched many of her clutch sisters die from this plague, and she bought into the fear and paranoia that the Gungans did this. She particpated that brief war against the Gungan people before the Naboo intervened to give the Ophissans the cure.
Athena returned with the others back to their ruined cities and began to rebuild. In that time period, the title of Gorgon was up for grabs and Athena input her name in to be selected as a champion. During the War Games, despite her young age, Athena proved that she was capable of keeping up with the older and much more experienced candidates. At the conclusion, Athena was elected to become the Gorgon. Now taking the mantle as the monarch of her people, she aims to try and forge strong relations with the Naboo and heal old wounds with the Gungans. For the Ophessians should become equal protectors of Naboo.

APPEARANCE
Athena is a tall, curvy Ophissan woman, with toned muscles from her time as a warrior. Her skin is a bit on the paler white side, her snake green hair filled with dozens of lively golden eyed serpents. The scales on the lower half of her serpentine body are the same color as her hair. Her eyes themselves are a sea-foam blue and she often wears dark black lipstick. Her fangs tend to be a bit longer than the standard Ophissan's.

Athena is widely considered to be one of the more level headed Ophissans, even more so after the Plague. While she is still fiercely loyal to her people, she has taken on a more cooperative stance with the Naboo and Gungans. Rather than wanting to be always as the crazy snake raiders from the swamps, Athena has envisions of the Ophissans become proud warriors for the planet of Naboo.STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
