History: The Allied Tion Medical Center located on system Lianna in the Tion Cluster which for generations had been in Neutral space found itself under the lordship of The Sith Empire when it expand it borders and domination. Although the sith as a whole allowed the hospital to remain in operation and under its own administration, the very location of it impeded many former systems to send their patients there for treatments. Admission dropped off and the hospital as it discharged healthy patients, started to feel the vacuum of less and less new patients. This was no doubt due to it's location in sith space.
As thus and with outside charitable funds from systems and companies outside of sith space, the Allied Tion Medical Center acquired enough credits to commission a sizable vessel to take a good portion of its operation outside of sith territory.
The ship could not well be built by the sith, as thus a suitable manufacturer outside of sith influence was selected... MandalArms. This company could well build a sizable hospital worthy of the name Allied Tion Medical. It was christened ATM-SERENITY.
