OBJECTIVE I - POST I- LATE TO THE PARTY
Coming out of hyperspace above the planet Cordialis Alec could see the battle had already begun, two frigates were down, a Destroyer was already being engaged, and fighter squadrons III and IV had made contact with the enemy starfighters.
"I hate being late to a battle. I need to get my hyperdrive ring checked, maybe it's faulty. RD-66, remind me to have that checked out when we get back to Dromund Vatsu, Also let [member="Ozun Zhil"] I've arrived. "
His orders were to join up with Fighter Squadron IV and engage the enemy fighters, keeping them clear of the other attack squadrons, who would focus fire on the frigate shields and Destroyer turrets. The Jedi fighters though restored and in good condition were no match for the speed, agility, and superior weaponry of the Jen'ari Empire's new SIF Mk 1 Starfighters, who tore through the ranks of ships one after another, even the Jen'ari Destroyers were making their mark on the battle. The ease at which the enemy was destroyed did not mean the battle was even close to over, the Sith had much damage to do and ships to shoot. Alec could help with that, Jedi masters after all, were his specialty.
Alec's red and black Delta-7 Interceptor cruised through space with ease, perhaps his hyperspace ring was slow, but his ship was as fast as ever and his aim on point. Falling in with Fighter Squadron IV he began to engage the Jedi, darting around the sluggish frigates and destroyers was second only to the explosion following a perfect dogfight where every shot hits it's mark, now that is where the fun begins. Swooping left and right Alec shot at a green painted Jedi who was tailing one of IV Squadron's pilots, with the help of RD-66 the ship was targeted and blown into space within a few shots. More fighters swooped in to take the place of the fallen Jedi and irritate the pilots of Squadron IV. Lasers flew everywhere as ships flew by attempting to survive or kill depending on which side of the fire button they were on. One of Squadron IV's ships went down as a red and green Eta-2 swooped in blasting with its twin laser cannons. Alec pursued and fired controlled shots at the rear of the ship. The Jedi seemed to evade every round Alec shot his way, he was either very lucky or a masterful pilot. Alec hadn't expected to find any real pilots among these Jedi, a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Alec would enjoy this challenge even if it was an easy one...
