It was the right move to wrap his arms around her in a similar fashion. Dianah felt a wave of peace relax all the muscles in her body. Her head lent upward to meet his and she closed her eyes, a tranquil smile rested on her lips. It had been a long time since anyone greeted her like this. It gave her a fond reminder of home and hearth.

'Well, what can I say? We Sith do like to party.'

A wide grin replaced her small smile and she stepped back from the embrace to spin delicately on her tip-toes to show him the lack of any injury. There was an alarming amount of blood oozing down her armour but none of it seemed to be her own. For the most part she was particularly proud of the fact that she hadn't injured herself yet. It wasn't that she was stupid enough to allow someone else to hurt her. But she did seem to have a knack for over-doing it and causing injuries to herself.

'All present and correct I think. No harm done.'

Her sentence had barely left her lips when she felt Jaron's strong grasp come to rest in her hand. Before she knew it they were dashing across the empty space toward the next group of advancing Jedi. Dianah felt the floor escape her feet and the whoosh of air as it whipped her hair backward. The whistle of the wind in her ears brought her to the realisation that she was flying through the air. Jaron had thrown her at the marching masses. A menacing giggle escaped her lips. What an inspiration. This moment alone confirmed to her why she had wanted him kept around.

Using a bit of her own powers, she nudged herself a mid-air. This minuscule movement granted her the leave to slash with her blade from the side instead of head-on. The orange glow of her saber bit through the Jedi, slashing three of them at their midriffs. Dianah came tumbling down a few moments later, skidding across the floor on one knee with her leg stretched out for balance. Her head flicked up, in time to see Jaron moving in his own fast-paced fighting style. Scrambling up to a stand Dianah pressed herself against Jarons chest again. She patted him lightly with her open palm, in a rather familiar way. With little time to stay there she placed herself in a fighting stance once more.

'I'm pleased you're here and not at all surprised that you missed me. I am irresistible after all.'

She took a pause between words to bring her lightsaber humming toward another. They crashed for a split second before an unforgettable pop exploded in the midst of it all. Brain matter and shards of sharp white bone exploded violently outward, splattering against whatever surface it could find. She had been practising this one move, for longer than she cared to say. Previously Dianah had caused herself to bleed attempting to crush a skull. She still had the thin silver scars as a reminder. But she was eager to show Jaron she could do it with ease now.

'I've been practising.' This was accompanied by a macabre smile. Dianah was impressed with herself. 'But enough of this boring osik. We should explore the temple.'

Jaron chuckled as she patted his chest before moving to a fighting stance beside him. Irresistible. She thought highly of herself and in no way was he going to admit she was right. Just because she could beckon him to come to her with the slightest movement of her smallest finger, Jaron didn’t have to confirm it. The game was too good to let her think she was right all the time, but he was smart enough not to deny it either. So his silence with the tiniest brush of his hand along her arm was all she got in response.

His attention was diverted by a loud pop. It had been just enough time for him to turn and find a body falling with brain matter and white bone shards hitting the ground.

“Indeed you have been,” he replied with an equally twisted grin. Two more Jedi rushed at them and Jaron extended both hands, lifting them both in the air, as he used the force to choke the life out of them. It was a more humane way to die than what they deserved most likely, but Jaron was more interested in what finished the task, and got them inside the temple.

“I am certain that your boss won’t mind if I nab a few trinkets and trophies for myself,” Jaron said as the entered through the main doors.

The grand hall hall was filled with the bodies others had already torn through. Blood and burning flesh filled the room, a true massacre. Whatever this was, a power display, or an accouncement, Jaron was certain it would be an effective one. It would also earn the Empire a lot of enemies. Metus would be interested in this, whether for his own motives, or for the fact that such a small group was strong enough to do such a thing. Jaron was both horrified and impressed.

“Nice friends you got yourself involved with. They sure know how to have fun.”

It was an affirmation of what Dianah had already said. With the area seemingly quiet for now, Jaron returned his lightsabers and removed his helmet. Clipping it to his belt, Jaron turned his eyes to look on the battle form of the woman he was with. His lips tugged into a smile. He hated wearing a mask around her for some reason, even if she still new little about him. Her disarming qualities still scared him, but were the cause for the bags she would see under his eyes.

“There must be some holocrons laying around. A lightsaber or five. We could use the components... or find other things to do behind closed doors. I really have no agenda.”

Jaron closed his eyes and pointed off in a random motion. When he opened them his finger was going right down a corridor to the Southwest.

“That way it is,” he said before walking down that path. Looking over his shoulder at Dianah he smirked. “You lookin at my shebs again...”

OBJECTIVE I - POST III - TAKING OUT THE LEAD DESTROYER'S SURFACE CANNONS

Zhil and his lead squadron would then switch from blasters to proton torpedoes. They'd make a quick run on the lead destroyer and open it up for a more concentrated starfighter attack.

This would be a good opportunity to test the Mk I weapons system. It was quite ingenious. The pilot would identify several targets for the proton torpedoes to hit, and the guiding system would offer an ideal flight path to hit those targets. It was great as it could minimize stress and ability on the part of the pilot.

Zhil and his squadron, on their first run, would take out all of the lead destroyer's cannons. It was a show of absolute strength, proving that Zhil's design was the shit.

Zhil would order in another squadron to prepare to hit its vital structures in order to destroy it. As he prepared to make a loop around for a second run, he was immediately hit with blistering anti-starfighter fire from the two destroyers behind. Three of his squadron pilots would be taken down in the volley.

This stratagem on the part of the Cordialis defense fleet was brilliant and he never even saw it coming. Zhil could not risk doing another pass for fear of losing even more starfighters. He had to think of a move, fast, as this would mean victory or defeat. The lead destroyer was effectively shielding the other destroyers, and the destroyers could easily make mince meat of the Lacus-class frigates and support destroyers.

Amnesia met a blue saber, the distinct hum thundering in his ears over the swell of noise that rang throughout the temple. He glanced around and he didn't see the pale-haired girl or the man who'd jumped into the fringe of their battle.

Neither could be seen amongst the hundreds of Jedi and Sith.

They couldn't be seen weaving in and out of groups and ducking past lightsabers.

He twirled around the Jedi and stabbed him in the back with such force that Amnesia's blade jutted out through the woman's midsection. He kicked his leg back and pushed her bleeding body off of his sword. Well, with the man being an extreme sucker for any knowledge he can get his hands on, he went straight towards the Jedi Temple Archives.

A long hallway with several diverging paths appeared before him as he

The hallway itself was quite extensive in its own right, albeit bathed in crimson blood and various brown robes. The door on the far side appearing to be only half of Kyrinov's size with the central bridge dropping to a plummet to the lower level of tunnels and perhaps several other similarly vast corridors meant to likely confuse one who was unacquainted with them. With all hope, he wouldn't need to view the entirety of the fortress, perhaps only a select few rooms and routes that he need only memorize with the motivation necessary to complete the mental task. The Kyrinov sighed in contentment as he began his trek down the bleak path.

He saw no room for deviation in the unfamiliar place nor did he have any feeling of anticipation of what may come.

The corridor floor he walked down was made of tile which gave away his position by the loud clicking produced by his boots. It was extensive and thus took him a few minutes to reach the elevators. He took several elevators to reach the lower floors of the temple where the Archive could be found.

Waiting and in perfect pristine condition,

For now.

A light laugh escaped from the depths of her stomach as he choked the life force from two unsuspecting victims. He was wicked and she loved every second of it. It might not have been considered a worthy death but there was no satisfaction greater than watching the spark slip slowly from their eyes.

At his mention of the Dark Lord she simply shrugged her shoulders and followed up with confirmation.

'I'm not exactly sure where he is, so I'm positive he wouldn't mind. There's no better reward than the spoils of battle. Let's go on a treasure hunt.'

She twirled delicately on her feet and brought her saber slashing down on a padawan blocking their path. They were the easiest kills. The Jedi were slow to train and quick to scold any who dared better themselves before their time. It must all seem silly now, considering she could slice through them like warm butter.

Dianah skipped quickly after Jaron, letting out a squeal of delight. He chose at random and the way he had done so was most endearing. It seemed to be mostly for her entertainment, but that just made it better. Whether he knew it or not she had missed him too. It felt like Arbra again. They were close and the banter was just as it had been.

'If you keep flashing them like they're trophies I can't help myself. I have half a mind to cut them off and mount them above my fireplace.'

They took their leave of the main battlefield and began to walk through the long, marbled corridors of the Jedi Temple. As they walked Dianah's hungry eyes drank the scenery in. The hallways seemed bigger and larger than anything she had seen before. The Jedi certainly seemed to have a flair for the extravagant decoration. They passed over a dozen grand doors of metal with intricate carvings.

'For people who believe in not having lavish lives they're rather garish, aren't they?'

Her saber still hummed at her side. She felt uneasy dis-igniting it when there could be someone busting for a fight around every corner. There wasn't any doubt that the rest of the Jedi who were incapable of fighting had been evacuated by now. But some remained, desperately trying to gather things that were worthy of being saved. Holocrons, light sabers, expensive tech. This was what they were after.

'So, where shall we begin our little mission?'

Yes, he was playing. This was all a game, down right to the way he pointed the direction they were heading. Why wouldn’t he play, considering he knew what was on his mind the second he found himself alone with her away from the spying eyes of her comrades. He could only chuckle at the color commentary she offered about their living situation, and smile at the caution she exudes by keeping her blade ignited. Jaron’s was not. His lightsaber rest at his waist knowing he could call it anytime he needed it.

Jaron continued to survey the scene that was set before him. Bodies still had to be stepped over, but once they had pressed deeper into the corridor, the floor was clear. Everything was so plain. This temple was noting compared to what Jaron was used to growing up with his uncle to train. Judah has never gotten the memo that Jedi weren’t supposed to have it nice. The great hall had been over the top, but this path seemed just functional.

He nodded his head to Dianah’s comment. She was always observant, and Jaron loved that about her. Her excitement for life and what could be accomplished were other qualities he had admired. It was right being with her again, and it seemed as if no amount of time had passed at all, when it had been about a couple of weeks. That’s why Jaron ducked into the first open room he could find, pulling Dianah into it with him.

Dianah was pressed up against the wall in a swift movement, the lightsaber pined where it wasn’t going to harm him. They were finally alone, and Jaron was not going to wait any longer to steal another kiss.

“This room seems just as good as any,” Jaron said pulling away and turning to explore the rest of the room. He had the smug expression of a satisfied Cheshire Cat on his face as he started looking over whatever trinkets he could find.

It seemed they had managed ages to stumble into some kind of armory. Different kinds of Jedi armor hung along several racks. If seemed good armor. Jaron poked at it as he turned to look back over his shoulder to Dianah.

“They could have made it harder to kill them if they’d worn this...”

Vyrassu looked to the two Jedi both with double bladed lightsabers, this was going to be fun he thought. The two Jedi circled around Vyrassu. Vyrassu watching them close waiting who would strike first or if they both would at the same time. Vyrassu tuned out everything around him, his focus was here, now, these two. They both attacked at the same time, one went high the other low. The two Jedi spun their blades around to attack and Vyrassu ducked one and blocked the other then quickly came up with his back blade to one of the Jedi chest killing him instantly. Vyrassu spun his blade around focusing on the Jedi left in front of him. They both attacked at the same time. Each using beautiful spins and twist swinging their blades at each other but both blocking each hit. Vyrassu did a back flip to get away for just one second but the Jedi was already charging him. Vyrassu blocked as the Jedi did a spinning attack at him. Vyrassu could feel the Jedi emotions. Several of his Jedi were being killed around him, and this Jedi was about to join him. Vyrassu held this Jedi with respect, he was a true warrior but he would still fall at the hands of the dark lord. Vyrassu turned and kicked the Jedi in the chin making him fly backwards and land on his back. Vyrassu then would reach out with one hand, open palm. The Jedi begin to hover and then begin screaming in pain as Vyrassu was slowly closing his fist, bone crunching noises could be heard coming from the Jedi. Once Vyrassu closed his fist completely the Jedi had died, Vyrassu then used the force to toss the body of the Jedi across the grand hall.

Vyrassu turned back to see makal kill a sith. There you are grand master, now you die Vyrassu thought. Makal noticed Vyrassu and ran at him. Vyrassu started towards makal gripping his double bladed lightsaber with both hands prepared to again engage makal. Makal leaped over rubble but while in mid air Vyrassu blasted makal with a blast of force energy that sent makal flying backwards. As makal recovered he saw Vyrassu soaring through the air spinning his double bladed ready for attack. As Vyrassu soared he thought to himself about this battle, his sith, how proud of them he was but he'd never show it. He directed his thoughts then to makal, he would destroy him, but how long before he fell. Vyrassu slammed into the ground digging his lightsaber into the ground causing a shock wave. The shock wave sent makal backwards. Vyrassu ran at makal yanking his saber out if the ground, Vyrassu went for a head attack but makal recovered and blocked Vyrassu's blade. The two focused on each other attack after attack on each other but both blocking the others attack. The fight made it's way to the massive hole in the front of the temple showing the scenery outside the temple. Buildings were in rubble, smoking and various fires as Imperial troopers attacked the city. Vyrassu and makal still locked in heavy lightsaber combat. Vyrassu agreed to himself, this Jedi makal was indeed a worthy opponent giving Vyrassu a good fight, but it would only end badly for the Jedi. Vyrassu stepped back and raised an arm slightly. Purple lightning and black fog came from his hand and it went to the ground around makals feet then split into 7 sections. From those 7 smoke and lightning spots formed a clone of Vyrassu. Vyrassu had casted an illusion spell. Now makal against 8 Vyrassu's the fight would become more intense.

OBJECTIVE I - POST I- LATE TO THE PARTY

Coming out of hyperspace above the planet Cordialis Alec could see the battle had already begun, two frigates were down, a Destroyer was already being engaged, and fighter squadrons III and IV had made contact with the enemy starfighters.
"I hate being late to a battle. I need to get my hyperdrive ring checked, maybe it's faulty. RD-66, remind me to have that checked out when we get back to Dromund Vatsu, Also let [member="Ozun Zhil"] I've arrived. "

His orders were to join up with Fighter Squadron IV and engage the enemy fighters, keeping them clear of the other attack squadrons, who would focus fire on the frigate shields and Destroyer turrets. The Jedi fighters though restored and in good condition were no match for the speed, agility, and superior weaponry of the Jen'ari Empire's new SIF Mk 1 Starfighters, who tore through the ranks of ships one after another, even the Jen'ari Destroyers were making their mark on the battle. The ease at which the enemy was destroyed did not mean the battle was even close to over, the Sith had much damage to do and ships to shoot. Alec could help with that, Jedi masters after all, were his specialty.

Alec's red and black Delta-7 Interceptor cruised through space with ease, perhaps his hyperspace ring was slow, but his ship was as fast as ever and his aim on point. Falling in with Fighter Squadron IV he began to engage the Jedi, darting around the sluggish frigates and destroyers was second only to the explosion following a perfect dogfight where every shot hits it's mark, now that is where the fun begins. Swooping left and right Alec shot at a green painted Jedi who was tailing one of IV Squadron's pilots, with the help of RD-66 the ship was targeted and blown into space within a few shots. More fighters swooped in to take the place of the fallen Jedi and irritate the pilots of Squadron IV. Lasers flew everywhere as ships flew by attempting to survive or kill depending on which side of the fire button they were on. One of Squadron IV's ships went down as a red and green Eta-2 swooped in blasting with its twin laser cannons. Alec pursued and fired controlled shots at the rear of the ship. The Jedi seemed to evade every round Alec shot his way, he was either very lucky or a masterful pilot. Alec hadn't expected to find any real pilots among these Jedi, a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Alec would enjoy this challenge even if it was an easy one...

OBJECTIVE I - POST IV - [member="Alec Rimmer"] joins the battle.

As Ozun Zhil would be busy taking out the last of the lead star destroyer's surface cannons, a welcome new arrival in Alec Rimmer would be heard. In fact, the starfighter control officer on board the Retribution would inform him that a Sith Lord had arrived to aid him. Tapping on his comm, he'd find Rimmer's call sign.

"Good to see you, my lord. We're busy taking out the lead destroyer. If Squadron IV could provide cover for us as we attempt to finish it, that would be nice."

It was strange walking through the Jedi temple knowing that Jaron had once been part of this confusing way of life. He had never expressly said it but from the little bit he had revealed she pieced some things together. She couldn't imagine him fitting in with the large marble pillars of the sea of brown robes. Dianah couldn't even bring herself to try and picture him practising abstinence, emotional or otherwise. Her day dream on this particular fact was brought to an abrupt end by the tug of his hand in hers.

All of a sudden they found themselves in a wide room of polished stone. Dianah had little time to admire it though. The cool of the wall against her back and the sudden force of being pushed against it knocked the wind out of her. It wasn't unpleasant though because what followed was rather enjoyable. There was something deeply satisfying about him taking control, instead of sniffing about her heels like most men did.

'You're awfully brave for a devoted servant.'

Her voice whispered against his lingering lips, filled with a sultry haze. The kiss left her with a dazed looking smirk on her face. She didn't even hear Jaron until the sweet sound of the word 'kill' drifted into her ears.

She shook her head a little to try and clear the racy thoughts from her mind. When she felt completely free of them she took a long look at the room they were in. The stone of the wall was a deep cream colour and it reflected back the bright white of the lamps that were set in its face. Filling the room were several long, metal racks stuffed to the brim with odd looking armour. Dianah pushed herself from the cool sensation of the wall and walked over to one of the sets. Her fingers traced along the bright blue metal and her eyes scrutinised it from every angle.

'You can say what you like about them but the have good taste in armour. It's just a shame they have it on display like art work instead of using it to defend themselves.'

Without another word she scooped up two sets in her long arms and yanked them free of the hooks. She dumped it rather unceremoniously at the doorway to the room. Spinning back round to return for more, she flashed Jaron a sweet smile.

'Get moving sweet shebs, we've got shiny things to hoard.'

The battle continued to rage above the surface of Cordialis, the Jedi and their outdated technology continued to fall beneath the might of the Jen'ari fleet. Alec Rimmer flew through the small ships of the defending Jedi in pursuit of one ship, the green ship continued to evade his fire while still taking out many of the Jen'ari ships making their attack on the main Jedi destroyer. Minuets went by as Alec was unable to land a hit on the fast moving ship, this began to anger him, he was an excellent pilot and his force sensitivity added to that. Taking out this single Jedi should have proved no problem for him, yet here he was still chasing the Eta-2 across space.
"Fighter Squadron IV, I need two fighters to focus on the green Eta-2 that's been tearing up our ships." The support should allow Alec or at least one of the other ships to destroy the annoyance that had been plaguing them. The two fighters engaged the Jedi firing at an impressive rate, they managed to hit his wing. "Finally." The Jedi's ship began to spiral and drop heading toward the bridge of his own lead destroyer, but right before he impacted, the ship flipped around. "Squadron IV, the ship is not down watch your back!" the Jedi had rolled with the punches and now he had gotten behind Alec and his squadron blasting the two support ships Alec had called for assistance. Alec spun and dove trying to shake the enemy but to no avail, now he was the one being chased and his evading skills would be put to the test...
