SPECIAL FEATURES

[*]Body:

[*]Cloak/Cape

[*]Left Arm

[*]Right Arm

[*]Legs

Strengths:
  • Knight of the Moon: This is a set of armor created by an Echani for the specific use of battle. While it could be worn in ceremonies, or formal occasions, it was built for the specific use of battle. Namely Melee combat. As an Echani, Shaun trained from a young age to use hand to hand combat, Single and double bladed swords, and even has some slight training with a simple training lightsaber. With this in mind, the armor was built for superior movement, while also providing superb resistances against these particular weapons in mind. Layers upon layers were crafted together to create a body glove worn under a set of plate armor for a man who can stand in the middle of combat, and not be moved.
  • Bladesman's Offhand: As a set of armor used to fight melee weapons in general, the usage of Cortosis gauntlets upon the arms were for the specific use of being able to short out lightsabers. Much in the same vain of the Imperial Knights, these gauntlets allow Shaun to reach out and turn off a lightsaber with just a touch from his hand.
Wolf's Claw: Upon the right hand, is a set of claws that have been sharpened with a special stone so that they would never lose their edge, in conjunction with Mullinine to hone that edge to be very deadly when striking at an opponent. Secondarily, the claws also have a Blood-poison edge. Thus being struck with the claws will cause excruciating pain. It also retains the effect of secretion of the poison it is well known for into the bloodstream.
  • Accurate Swings: Using both Echani Accuracy gloves, and Suregrip allows for Shaun to retain edge retention with bladed weapons, or to grapple others, while also increasing effectiveness with melee and hand to hand combat.

[*]*Peers over Cloak*: Connected at the base of the neck and held around the shoulders, is a cloak with a hood that can be easily worn. This cloak was created much to the same effect of the Cloak of Hate. Allowing for anyone who wears it to be more resistant to thermal based damage on either side of the spectrum, as well as protect the user from the force. Direct force applications such as affecting the user with telekinesis, or using Force Lightning can be reduced or completely rendered inert depending upon the power level of the user of the ability, as well as the strength of the wearer themselves. This cloak can also aid in stamina retention during a fight, strength and agility upon the field.
  • Hidden Neckline: As the armor is protective, it can also protect clothing or very small artifacts that are worn upon Shaun's person. One such artifact is the necklace that once belonged to his mother. This necklace is fairly protected by being worn under the armor, or can be worn over the top for a more decorative look.
  • Mysterious Figure: Shaun owns a mask that is helpful for his sight, and protection against the force. Thusly, this mask can be worn with the armor as the armor does not intrinsically come with a helmet of its own.

[*]Utilities of All Kinds: Using a Utility belt, as well as a secondary set of belts to specifically hold the weapons that Shaun may choose to carry, these belts are useful for many things from holding datapads, to swords, guns, and even small pill rations for any need he may have. Secondly, the utility of the sure grip boots and gloves with the friction inducing textile will allow for easier climbing on surfaces, as well as grappling in a fight. A set of boots was also added for use of being able to run along walls for a very short period of time.
Weaknesses:
  • Null and Void: As the armor was enhanced through the force, any force resistances, or effects that can be used will be reduced in power, or rendered inert when entering a force bubble, or being affected by a void stone. This would reduce the armor to just a set of armor. Nothing extra or special than whatever came upon it. The Cloak of Hate would take the biggest hit as it increases the effectiveness in battle quite significantly.
  • Sunlight Is Harsh: Quite fitting that an Energy Vampire has a set of armor that is not resistant to the Light Side of the force. Created using the force itself, namely the dark side, Force Light can damage, render inert, or completely destroy the armor, the cloak, and even damage Shaun should he be wearing the armor.
  • Medium-Heavy: Compared to the other armor sets that Shaun may have been used to growing up with, this armor is still fairly heavy. While it won't restrict movement, the armor is much heavier than any fiber weave he may have used or worn. Thus, it will take some time to get used to this armor. It can also wear Shaun out faster in long term fights and battles.
  • Shocking: As per the various metals, Alloys, and textiles used, the armor is more of a conductor for electrical currents. It could prevent major damage being done to the person, but it would still transfer this energy to the wearer. Shocking them, and causing pain to the user. More so, Ion and EMP damage will do more to him as these are also forms of electricity, or energy that is conductive to metallic substances.
  • Blasters, and Lightsabers: While the alloys and metals used in the armor are rather resistant to quite a bit, they are no more better at defending against Blaster weapons than that of your standard durasteel. While it is kinetically more resilient, high powered energy weapons are likely the best way to go. Even with the use of Cortisis gauntlets to short out ligthsabers, the rest of the armor is still rather weak to Lightsabers and can only stand to a couple blows before breaking and melting down.
  • Exotic Nature: Due to the general use of the armor, one where it is built for a specific use, Acid launchers, Plasma weapons, or just about any Exotic weaponry can still very much damage the armor and the user should the right one be used. This also includes sonic weaponry as not a lot of people are using them. Quite few and far between.
  • Kinetic Overload: As per the use of Chromuranium, A metal that uses the entire volume and surface area of the metal to absorb then redirect the kinetic impact of weaponry, it relies on the impact being fairly small, or limited in force. Massive piercing weaponry can still very much damage the armor. While it has been slightly reinforced with the force, and other textiles, should too much kinetic damage, or constant pressure be placed on the armor, there is a chance for the metal to break like glass.
  • Force Resistance: As the Cloak of hate is not a complete garment that covers the entire body in Shaun's usage, it cannot 100% defend against force based attacks. It can reduce them greatly to a degree that it feels inert, or causes little to no real damage. Superficial, however, should anyone trained well within the force attack, there is still quite the chance for the force power to do damage. Secondly, the armor itself does not defend against mental, illusion, or sensory based abilities. Thus one can still feel Shaun through the force, sense him through the force, and his alignment, as well as directly affect him with abilities that are not physically controlling, damaging or affecting him.
DESCRIPTION
As a young man, Shaun looked upon the images of Jedi and Sith fighting one another in battle. Dancing around one another in armor with weapons made of light. The sight alone made him wish he could be in such a position. The ability to fight against his foes with armor and weapons that could turn the tide of the war. Learning from his father of the Echani Martial arts was only the beginning. Over the years, Shaun keep these images, these dreams of becoming a great warrior within a war for peace and prosperity. Learning under the teachings of his father to fight and to survive, becoming an apprentice to the old Darren Shaw to forge his own path and life.

It is after years of work learning how to create weapons, armors and trinkets, that Shaun has come to create his own armor. One that could allow him to stand in the rage and chaos of a battle, and be the one that stands no matter what he faces. Forging the armor with a metal to resist major blows from kinetic weapons, and to be fairly resilient to lightsabers and energy weapons, This armor is the one he shall wear, and call upon in his time of need. A set of armor that he can also wear at any time of the day without fail.

Learning of the Imperial Knights, and their usage of the Cortosis within their gauntlets to shut off lightsabers, Shaun utilized this to the fullest extent. All of the plate armor upon his hands and forearms is utilizing Cortosis weave. A high enough percentage of Cortosis is used to allow lightsabers to be shut off for a time. While also using many portions of gear from Other Echani models, such as their accuracy gloves, and Fiber armor, as well as a special set of belts to hold the weapons that Shaun may require.

Taking other gear from the company of Cerberus Enterprise allow for Shaun to walk over various terrains with the armor and even improve upon his mobility within the armor despite it's more heavier nature. With the creation of a personal mask for the young man, The armor was made without a helmet for the specific purpose of allowing Shaun to use a mask, no helmet, or to create a helmet later down the line and use it in conjunction with his armor. For this, Shaun can also wear limited jewelry around his neck and fingers should he choose to do so. This armor also acts as the first, in a line of armors, weapons and trinkets that can fulfill Shauns dream.

To be the man who can stand, despite the odds.

[member="Alkor Centaris"], Using a Cortosis weave so that is not super brittle. It could likely take a couple blows, but that is the extent.

Okay, a weave, got it. The cortosis would likely interfere with the energy shield in your sub, though, due to how it reacts with energy. How do you compensate for that?

[member="Alkor Centaris"], As the energy shield I am using is not based around lightsaber technology, or does not state that it is based around it, I would assume that nothing would be wrong with it. If I were using a Light-Shield, then I could understand the problem. As that is based upon lightsaber technology. Light-shields were made of Lightsaber technology and thus could defend the user, and even be used to cut given that the shield was powered and given the correct energy. Just as a normal lightsaber could alter the "power" of the blade to be just a blunt instrument, or the lightsaber we know and love.

My Echani Dueling shield, cannot cut, and does not state that it uses Lightsaber technology. Its based more around the concept much like to that of a Shield Gauntlet worn by the Kilian Rangers. A simple energy disc that allowed defensive uses.

The issue I'm referring to deals with the conductivity of the metal, not the type of energy used in the shield. If it came into contact with the Cortosis, the flow would be disrupted and the shield would be unreliable. I'm just asking how you intend to prevent that.

You could put the shield in the opposite gauntlet, instead- that's a viable option.

[member="Alkor Centaris"], Since both gauntlets have cortosis in them, It would be a problem anyways.

I can see where the problem lies now, and am going to just remove them from the sub. They were not a necessary part of the armor, and were just there because I thought it might have fit.

Edited the Shields out of the submission.
