B-45 Class D Battle Droids
The droids would be produced via a small contracting partnership between undercover factories and crime lords. They look more menacing then they are and while new models are in development, the basic model is fully prepared. They are assigned to groups of 2, 4, or 12, most commonly 4. They possess 4 heavily armored flexible feet clipped off by a flat platform at the bottom. The central mass is a spherical bulk of durable materials used to store most operational functions. Toward the top, an appendage similar to the feet will protrude bearing on top a small head-like structure that fires a single explosive laser blast going 120 shots per minute at best. It is naturally slow and practically immune to regular blaster fire, however more advanced methods like explosive projectiles, controlled demolition, or air support provide a weakness. It can fend off certain armored vehicles and will retract itself to roll into a ball for up to 250 feet at a time to move. It will be unable to fire blaster shots if the head is decapitated and would proceed to try and stomp on or flatten its opponents. The entire thing would be 11 feet tall from leg to top torso and add 7 feet for the neck. It would be approximately 14 feet from side to side if the legs are in a resting standing position. They have been known to have a relatively short battery life, but batteries are easier to obtain and more plentiful than food in most homes. They will never see full scale production like the separatists, they are merely to assist a main fighting force or scare/patrol areas of control, private or public.
