Baby, It's Cold Outside. [Rebels vs Sith] [Csilla] [mostly finished]

Blane didn't talk much, mostly nodded and followed Oddball to the armory where he didn't seem nervous yet he raised an eyebrow at the "We've got a sith" part, now it would be the moment for his special "abillity" not that he would know if this sith can read minds by any chance, but to be honest... He uses this even around jedi, his overcaution served him well untill now, so he begun to block his mind just in case, the mission must not be compromised although he had a bad feeling about this. Well looked like the little conversation was heading to an end, but there was still the matter of the signal so Blane decided to try making this a little longer "Wait a second." He said making a step forward to the sith trooper and frowning "Weren't you that guy who reported corruption few days ago?" Blane had no idea if anything like this happened, nor he needed to, the plan was to confuse the trooper and buy more time talking about something that may or may not have occured.

He felt so bad for having to kill these people, but it was war...war is never nice and after all, is for greater purpose.

The encroaching snow storm made the approaching ships journey a hard one but not an impossible one. The shadow's swarm as it was named by it's owner made it's way into the hangar of the air force base, landing in it's middle and stopping any other ship from leaving as it was too big to be placed in the hangar's ship bay's. Out of the Shadow-class Reconnaissance Corvette came a single figure dressed in a cold weather outfit with tattered sith robes draped around them and the edges bellowed slowly in the soft wind that managed to enter the hangar as the soon to be sith knight entered it.
He looked around as he stepped off the landing ramp and felt anther sith nearby but then something else piqued his interest there was another Miralukan here, well he was a half miralukan but he had all their traits. He took calm and purposeful steps as he walked towards the Miralukan, it was odd that she was leaning more towards the light side than the dark side given were she was but that only fueled T'zanith's curiosity.
A Soldier from the Chiss Expansionary Defense forces stepped in his way and asked for his ID and was quite lucky that T'zanith had a blindfold over otherwise he'd surely see bloody murder in his pitch black eyes. "Why do I need to do that?" He then asked calmly, belaying the annoyance over the interruption. "I-I-I'm sorry sir... MY Lord but the base is on Yellow alert at the moment and these are the protocols..." The Chiss soldier began to stammer out and it was clear this was a fresh recruit who buckled as soon as T'zanith leaned a little towards him. "G-Go on your way my lord." The Soldier then said as he moved to the side and bowed to T'zanith, which he waved to him that he didn't need to do it, it was his planet after all and T'zanith was the outsider.
T'zanith made his way towards the Miralukan he saw a small smile on his face as he had charged up a force echo in his palm, a skill of his own devising to allow those with force sight like miralukans to see as if they had eyes for a shot amount of time. He stopped in front of the girls [member="Juwiela Melec"] and [member="Sannika Brynn"] as he dropped the force echo into the floor sending out a wave of force energy that bathed the surroundings and allowed both him and Juwiela to see as if they had eyes.
"I must say I am surprised that I haven't seen you around, I would have thought with our people's predisposition to the force you'd have been recruited into the acolytes of the one sith by now." He said with a friendly smile, he had no intention of hurting either women, rather he was simply curious for now, but that didn't mean he wasn't on guard, a yellow alert was never put on as a joke.

Sannika Brynn

Let me tell you about a Rebellion...
The baggy legs of her oversized flightsuit ruffled and flapped about comically as the little green twi'lek Rebel rushed through the corridor with her buddy and leader. Honestly, the whole 'disguise' was really only adequate for the cameras, because anyone who approached them in person would have a hard time reconciling the fact that they were toting weapons of this variety with the 'Sith pilot' claims. Especially the fun-sized tukian.

The reason Sannika could even consider killing these people at all was because anyone who joined the Sith forces was either conscripted under imperial compulsion or had volunteered under the influence of similar or identical ideologies. Those are big words for some people to understand, but apparently they have not even seen Red Dawn--original or crummy remake. If a solitary man was all that represented the Sith occupation, then the citizens would have no reason to ever listen to such a sad, small whisper. And if they hated the Sith so much, they would most likely incarcerate or even execute such a delusional figure. Thus it was only logical to conclude that there were Sith officers, soldiers, and pilots* of the most loyal batch to enforce compliance and train the Chiss forces in Sith operating procedures, whether they be of the Expeditionary or generic variety.

And so the Sith troopers were simply those enlisted in a military under a government known as the One Sith empire. Naturally, it just works that way. And while it was unfortunate that some who were forced into service were to become casualties in this insurgent strike, there was just no way to avoid it. One could disagree all they wanted, but in the pursuit of freedom for the many, the death of a few might be--and often is--necessary. Kill or be killed seemed to be the mantra of war throughout all history.

"Almost to the hangar," she breathed as their commander announced that their departure time was due any second now. Except apparently there was going to be a slight delay.

How they were supposed to miss an incautious Sith like the guy who had just dropped in was beyond Sannika, but the drop he had indeed gotten and was now confronting them--rather, one of them--about some Force nonsense and acolyte business. If there is one thing you do not do with a Sith, it is engaging them in a conversation. They tend to have a habit of talking people to death.

Also, they were pretty annoying and threatening to their lives. That was a thing, too. Not necessarily prepared for this, but certainly pumped up on adrenaline by this time, the Rogue's instincts kicked in and she took her first pull of a rifle's trigger with intent to kill. She held it down for a few seconds and spewed dozens of blaster bolts at the creepy cloaked dude encroaching on their mission, then set off on a scamper for the fighters resting a couple scores of meters away. "'Wiela! Come on!" Don't die don't die don't die don't die...

Had Juwiela been granted physical eyes, she would have rolled them right about now. Sith this, dark side that...how they didn't bore themselves to death was beyond her. Stifling a sigh, she put on her best face as he spoke, deciding to perhaps play along with things for a time. It wouldn't do good to give up the ruse right away, and as long as he was content in the belief that they were friendlies, she would let that continue. However, she was waiting for a cause for either she or Sannika to draw their weapon and fire, whether as a distraction or a lethal hit, in order for them to get on with their mission. A distraction wasn't what they had in mind.

Unable to stop a grin borne of nerves from spreading across her face as Sannika fired her rifle, she followed after the Twi'lek pilot at a run. Just like the hangars back home, right. For their sake she hoped nothing like this ever happened in familiar territory. Besides being life-threatening, it would get rather old to have to listen to a Sith prattle on day in and day out when they were really just trying to get in their ships and fly this or that mission. It was a wonder that any of them were able to stand each other's company. She would have already bailed out, had she been recruited into the Sith instead of the Alliance.

Assuming nothing stopped her she would dart up the ladder that led to the cockpit of one of the fighters, not particularly choosy when it came to just what she was flying. This time she would have a ground crew to help her along, so instead of getting right down to the business of starting up the ship she disconnected the ladder manually and gave it a telekinetic shove away. Only then did she begin the procedures of bringing the starfighter to life, the cockpit sliding shut as she did her best to figure out just where everything was. This was an unfamiliar fighter make, and as such it took her a few minutes longer than usual to get everything operational. Such was the sacrifice of not having physical sight.

Breathing a sigh of relief once everything was functional, she took a moment to study the cockpit through touch and her own sight. Nothing was extraordinarily out of place, and she would have to make the rest of it work. Opening a connection to the rest of the Rebels through the secure commlinks all carried, she spoke, "This is Rogue Leader. You all know what to do." Now she spoke to Sanna, "I'd say 'all wings report in', but it's just you and me for this run. What d'you say we give them a bit of a show?" It would be an airshow of the far more destructive sort, and one of a scale they hadn't seen before. They had to get their reputation from somewhere.

Finally she piloted the ship out of the hangar. This time she really would be flying blind - unable to see any displays thanks to her Force Sight, she would have to merely guess at most everything. Thankfully, she wasn't Rogue Leader for nothing.

A blue-black brow was raised as a staticky message came over the airwaves of the Holonews on Sarvchi, the home of House Chaf. There had been word of ion bombs being dropped on Csilla, and the entire House was waiting with baited breath for more developments. It seemed that the culprits of the seemingly random attacks were about to claim responsibility.

Needless to say, the message was not well-received by House Chaf. The quavering tenor that came over Chiss airwaves was well, quite frankly, the voice of Captain Obvious. The Chiss people, having been occupied twice, once before the Great Disappearance and once after, were all too aware of the atrocities of the One Sith. As a non-aggressive people, they had done everything in their power to prevent further bloodshed, but since they had been steamrolled by the Sith juggernaut the first time, they saw the the writing on the wall the second. When One Sith fleets once again hovered over their space, the Chiss simply gave in. Fantana was confident her people and her House would persevere despite the occupation. They just needed time. Time that these murderers were not giving them.

Fantana clicked off the broadcast with an impatient huff. If there was one thing the Chiss people disliked as much as the Sith occupation, it was being condescended to, exactly in the manner of this rabble who seized their airwaves.

It was ludicrous. Fantana had just been to the House Palace on Csilla the previous day. There were only the shambles of the CEDF left on Csilla and now these terrorists were attacking them in the streets with wanton bloodlust.

Animals.

It only lead the Aristocra to believe that these these insurgents were staunch enemies of the non-aggressive Chiss people, despite the crocodile tears being cried. They were obviously only interested in exploiting an already war-torn and disgraced world. It would be a long time before Void and his ilk would win the hearts and minds of the Chiss after this grievous attack on their soldiers and infrastructure.

It was a shame that the rabble rousers couldn't have simply assassinated Governor Forlac'rya'xitodo instead. The death of the Imperial Governor would have the Chiss people dancing in the streets. As the emotionless blue-skinned people rarely danced in public, that was saying quite a bit about their collective feelings towards their puppet governor.

"We're tracing the signal, but we can't pinpoint the exact origin!" The voice from the Sith's comlink was set to a backdrop of panicked chatter.

"Send someone out to the general area to sweep it, at least -" Trystis stumbled as the ion detonation's aftershocks rumbled through the military hub. He could feel the ripple in the Force as the magnitude of the deaths reached him. It was at once enraging and exhilarating, breathing in the tragedies of war that fed the power of the Dark Side. When I find the one responsible for this...

"We've triangulated the approximate source, though we aren't sure if they've fled or not."

"Don't give them the chance, damn it! And have my ship readied, I'm heading out to give this radical a very personal thanks." In the cold recesses of the Acolyte's mind, he surveyed his emotions as they reached their boiling point. He was sprinting down the halls, skidding around corners - a masked, black-clad blur. "By which I mean execution." He clarified.

"Corruption? I don't know what you're - wait a minute. What was that?" One trooper of the Sith-controlled CEDF forces said to another. Trystis stopped briefly in front of the soldier - one of the guards for the armory, he believed. And what seemed to be several others. He was tempted to pass them, but a nagging in his thoughts stopped him. A whisper from the Dark Side. I suppose they could be useful, though I don't see what's so important about them, he thought.

"Follow me - all of you. We have a terrorist to capture."

Latha was aware that the Sith had many enemies in the galaxy, but for this terrorist group to come and raid a military installment, drop stun grenades on the Chiss Expansionary Defense Forces, infiltrate an armory dressed as Sith troopers and then announce their intentions as peacekeepers?

She was no warfare expert, but this was an absolutely nonsensical attack.

Furthermore it seemed like yet another group, a fringe element no less, stormed upon Csilla, attempting to tell persuade the Chiss to take up arms against the Sith. The what, one or two small Sith outposts there were on the entire planet?

After Fantana turned off the broadcast, clearly upset by what she had heard (and who wasn’t on Csilla?), she turned to her and while she longed to reach out and touch the other woman’s arm tenderly in a comforting gesture, she merely clasped her hands together in front of her.

“If we even entertained this preposterous idea of taking up arms against the Sith, why should we fight with them, Fantana? They are not us. How do we know they won’t just use us for their own purposes? Because frankly, I don’t believe a word of this nonsense.”

She didn’t want to fight for whatever these outsiders were fighting for. Despite her hatred of the Sith, peace had come to Csilla, and her house, the Ruling House of Sabosen, was more active and thriving than ever. By the Red Flame, she would not tolerate this injustice to her people and hoped that these barbarians would be captured and executed for their crimes.

Oh that was it! He had finally gotten to meet another Miralukan and show her the skill he had developed for all miralukans to ease their sight in confined spaces and what does the Karking Schutta do? She sicks her pet Twi'lek on her and runs to steal one of the sith fighters in the hangar. This would not go unanswered to begin with though he had suspected them of something like this since they weren't chiss to begin with and their weapons really weren't standard issue either.
However when the Twi'lek opened fire he barely got out of the way and his robes edges were littered with holes and his arm was clipped as well but this schutta would get quiet the surprise as he reached out with the force and sent a couple of crates flying towards [member="Sannika Brynn"] in an attempt to pin her down against the wall, then the explosion came bounding out of the tunnel connected to the military base on the other end.
T'zanith was knocked down as flakes of snow and shaves of ice rained down over the Hangar and as he got up he saw that his ship had moved to land out side the hangar to allow fighters to leave the hangar. He saw that [member="Juwiela Melec"] was inside one of the fighters and was headed outside. "Oh no you don't you ungrateful karking Schutta!" He yelled as he used the force to sent crates at the fighter and grounding it, a feat he'd normally be unable to do but now he was feeding of the deaths they had caused to fuel his power to this extent but it was exhausting to say the least. He then moved his hand forwards and all that could be seen from him was a small lightning spark sent from his fingers but the cock pit of the fighter was engulfed in Lightning as he used a sith barrage.
"Soldier!" T'zanith then yelled at the soldier he had met when he first arrived who was panicking a little but then sorted himself out when T'zanith seemed to take control of the situation. "Call in to command and tell them we have infiltrators in the hangar bay and there might be more around the base." His command was obeyed and he hoped others would pick up on it, especially his fellow sith in the base as he was sure the two young women he had tried to deal with were still very much alive and kicking, he'd dread that part. "Get ready they will surely be coming now and most likely quite pissed off."

Oddball was about to start chewing the private out but before he could do that Blane chimed in with some corruption charge crap, yeah cause that's a good question to ask when you are trying to be casual.

"Lis-" Oddball again was about to speak but before he could do that gun fire started to go off in the base along with starship engines roaring.

"We'r-" and again he was cut off by a Sith apprentice ordering him to come to him and support the defense of the outpost.

"I'm sure-" Oddball was once again interrupted by a long winded motivational speech by someone named void on the airwaves.

"Oh %#&$ this!" Oddball said lifting up his submachine gun and put a tennis ball sized exit wound in both Sith troopers guarding the armory doors.

"Blane, get inside and grab the IFF tags! I'll take care of Suzy Q and the Backyard Boogie Crew." With that Oddball shoved the four men out of his way and the crew began to get the vault open while Oddball made short work of Suzy Q.

Normally one would be afraid of taking care of a Sith all by their lonesome. But this was Ex-Confederate Dreadguard Clone Commando 3537 designation Oddball, he was born force dead to handle crap like this. But it also helped when you had a magazine full of Sith Killers.

With very accurate fire Oddball began to squeeze off semi automatic and steady fire at his target. The large .308 special rounds flying forward loud and heavy and specificity designed to kill lightsaber jockeys like him. Now all he could do was hope Blane could get that door open while he pushed forward to eliminate the Sith or at least gain ground on him.

Thane had to cover his face as the bomb went off ahead. The blast shook Thane to his bones and made his speeder vear off and crash. Luckily he was a few meters from a service entrance and entered the fray. Drawing his scattershot, he aimed and shot a hole in the chest of a Sith trooper.

"So where's the party?" He called on the comms.

The Sith troopers realized there was another attacker, Chiss enforcement joined in as well. Thane took cover and returned fire. So many targets and so little time.

That could have been worse, which is why Bane wasn't complaining, without any word he walked in front of the door and attempted to open it as fast as he could sometimes looking back to make sure Oddball is still there. Asuming that the door opens, Blane would get inside running and looking of the IFF tags desperately. Nervous wasn't the right word... But it wasn't the time to walk calmly through the armory right? Once he spotted them, he would take them immediately and run outside carefuly with his AR-47 in his hands.

"I've got them, I would suggest moving out before your new friend asks us to remain for that dinner!" He said while preparing to fire and waiting for Oddball's orders.

Oh. That was what Trysts Ray thought as one trooper proceeded to mow down the guards in front of him. When he turned his rifle on him, the Sith acolyte dropped into an Echani combat stance. Things were going wrong in every regard. Keep moving forward - close the distance.

He leapt out of the way of the first shot - skidded out of the way of the second. On the third, he felt his side erupt in a fountain of agony. He'd felt normal blaster wounds, but this was far from normal. This... thing resisted his attempts at using the Force to dampen the pain.

He then found himself staring down the blaster. He knew the fourth would reduce his head to a red splatter on the wall. Using his left hand to push the rifle's barrel aside, his right leg moved in the motions of a kick that would ideally send Oddball into Blane Nightfall, give or take a few ribs.

Lord Ajihad had been on a patrol with his Marines, when he had gotten word of bombings on Csilla. Apparently, the Chiss ascendancy were paying good credits for these rebels to be taken down. This being said, The Demon's Fist turned right to the nearby Csilla, and prepared for a counter attack. He sent a good amount of Marines in fighters, so they could shoot down any more bombers. The rest would come with him down to the surface, at core of the action.

Not an hour later, a perimeter of Marines had been set up around a facility that had apparently been breached. As his men surrounded the building, he walked up to the front door after taking a second to conceal his force signature. The lock had been broken, signifying someone had certainly made an entry. He stepped inside, to see two dead guards with slug wounds in their chests. Ajihad turned on the stealth function in his Sith Assassin armor, and continued on.

Soon enough, he saw a team of people trying to crack open a door, as well as [member="Oddball"] going after [member="Trystis Ray"] . He moved up on the rebel, who was all alone against Ajihad and Trystis. At this point, he was even out of [member="Blane Nightfall"] 's range of vision, which would hopefully make this a bit easier. Ajihad flicked his wrist, and the Sith Hidden blade silently emerged from its hiding place. He decloaked, simultaneously moving to plunge the hidden blade in a chink in Oddball's armor. As an assassin, he expertly did this making zero noise, so the rebel would not know of his presence.

Oddball

This is what happens when you tap the glass
[member="Blane Nightfall"]
Twisting his body Oddball's first priority was to maintain positive control of his weapon, a gun loaded with anti force user weapons was no good to him in the hands of the enemy. So with that twist he moved slightly pulling the gun away, but he was too slow for the incoming kick. With a heavy thud of impact the Sith light infantry armor did its job of protecting him from kinetic strikes but it still hurt and it still pushed him back. Flying to the side Oddball flew for a foot or two and smacked into the wall missing Blane by a foot.

But he felt more than just a kick, he felt a gust of air push past him and the blur of movement that was probably intended to kill him if he wasn't luckily kicked out of the way by Suzy Q. So being the highly trained commando that he was, Oddball's best guess was to assume someone had just tried to kill him silently.

"Blane! Move!" Taking Blane by the back of his armor Oddball pushed him forward past the two Sith followed by his squad, it was time to jet.

With a quick dive Oddball shot past the two Sith in that hallway and grabbed something off his person while in midair. A Napalm B grenade. This little guy was an fun to bring to parties and it burned upwards to ten minutes of burning hot fire. Pulling the pin on his way back up to a low kneeling position Oddball threw the grenade between him and the two Sith on the opposite side of the armory. The glass shattered and the jelly splattered across the floor and walls exploding into a bright fire that created a barrier of flames between the two Sith and Oddball's men.

"GO GO GO!!" Oddball yelled as he quickly got up.

He and the others turned foot and began to run down the single hallway, oddball turning and unloading the rest of his clip into the flames and Sith to try and keep them at bay a little longer. Turning the corner Oddball and his crew were making it towards the hanger where they could get a ride out of there, they had what they needed and while they didn't get the weapons they could live with twelve sets of armor and some tags.

"Benefactor this is Oddball! We're done here! Need pick up immediately!" He said hailing his good buddy and boss [member="Thane Drexel"]

[member="Trystis Ray"] [member="Sannika Brynn"] [member="Lord Ajihad"]

As he saw the grenade fly through the air, Vi'kas knew it was time to get a move on. Instead of leaping away, he'd shoot forward towards [member="Oddball"] . Sheathing the hidden blade, he began sprinting towards the rebel, when the man started to open fire on him. Ajhad leapt upwards, above and beyond his target. He'd land behind the man, and would ignite both of his sabers. In one hand, he held his custom-made flat-bladed indigo lightsaber. In the other, he held a blue one he'd taken from a Jedi whom he had beaten down with his bare hands.

With the blue saber, he would swing at the man's blaster arm, hopefully preventing a further attack from the deadly bullets. He thrusted forward his other weapon at the clone's chest, hoping to impale him through the lung. It was time to take down his quarry.

Blane was taken by surprise by the sith assassin as he didn't know he was there, it didn't matter, one of the most important things in battle were to adapt, It wasn't ahrd at all to understand what Oddball was planning... well rather doing, the time for planning was over. Blane begun arunning as fast as he could alongside the others looking back only to make sure that everyone came and to see if the sith have any more surprises, his only regret was that he couldn't get more from the armory, yet there was no time for that. He doubted the sith would leave them without a fight so he was careful all the time, even if everything seemed to be so easy now, getting to the ship and leaving, well there are many chances for that to happen, yet nobody should be underestimated. Once he felt he was at a safe distance, he looked few times around as if making mental notes of the surroundings for some reason.
