The baggy legs of her oversized flightsuit ruffled and flapped about comically as the little green twi'lek Rebel rushed through the corridor with her buddy and leader. Honestly, the whole 'disguise' was really only adequate for the cameras, because anyone who approached them in person would have a hard time reconciling the fact that they were toting weapons of this variety with the 'Sith pilot' claims. Especially the fun-sized tukian.
The reason Sannika could even consider killing these people at all was because anyone who joined the Sith forces was either conscripted under imperial compulsion or had volunteered under the influence of similar or identical ideologies. Those are big words for some people to understand, but apparently they have not even seen
Red Dawn--original or crummy remake. If a solitary man was all that represented the Sith occupation, then the citizens would have no reason to ever listen to such a sad, small whisper. And if they hated the Sith so much, they would most likely incarcerate or even execute such a delusional figure. Thus it was only logical to conclude that there were Sith officers, soldiers, and pilots* of the most loyal batch to enforce compliance and train the Chiss forces in Sith operating procedures, whether they be of the Expeditionary or generic variety.
And so the Sith troopers were simply those enlisted in a military under a government known as the One Sith empire. Naturally, it just works that way. And while it was unfortunate that some who were forced into service were to become casualties in this insurgent strike, there was just no way to avoid it. One could disagree all they wanted, but in the pursuit of freedom for the many, the death of a few might be--and often is--necessary. Kill or be killed seemed to be the mantra of war throughout all history.
"
Almost to the hangar," she breathed as their commander announced that their departure time was due any second now. Except apparently there was going to be a slight delay.
How they were supposed to miss an incautious Sith like the guy who had just dropped in was beyond Sannika, but the drop he had indeed gotten and was now confronting them--rather, one of them--about some Force nonsense and acolyte business. If there is one thing you do not do with a Sith, it is engaging them in a conversation. They tend to have a habit of talking people to death.
Also, they were pretty annoying and threatening to their lives. That was a thing, too. Not necessarily prepared for this, but certainly pumped up on adrenaline by this time, the Rogue's instincts kicked in and she took her first pull of a rifle's trigger with intent to kill. She held it down for a few seconds and spewed dozens of blaster bolts at the creepy cloaked dude encroaching on their mission, then set off on a scamper for the fighters resting a couple scores of meters away. "
'Wiela! Come on!"
