PERSONALITY
Baize is a resolute and principled individual, deeply shaped by his upbringing on Nadiem and his diverse heritage. His father's teachings instilled in him a strong sense of justice and an adeptness in combat, qualities that define his role as a marshal. Baize's personality is marked by a calm demeanor and a strategic mind, always assessing situations before acting. Despite his tough exterior, he carries a deep empathy for those affected by conflict, driving his commitment to maintaining peace and order on his war-torn home planet.
STRENGTHS
Force Wielder: Baize was raised in the traditions of the Kilian Rangers, from whom his father's family is deacended. He has attained a level of skill with the Force that makes him comparable to the average Jedi Knight.
Lawman: Baize has learned the skillset needed to be a good enforcer of the law. Not only with blaster in hand, but how to negotiate and reach terms. How to investigate and analyze clues at crime scenes.
WEAKNESSES
Anti-Jedi: Baize has a certain level of resentment toward the Jedi. He believes, perhaps unfairly, that the Jedi did not express enough concern to save the people of Nadiem from the Draelvasier that invaded his home. Thus, he acts negatively toward those who present themselves as Jedi.
Philosophy: He feels strongly about his principles. Namely, he does not believe in execution except in the most heinous of circumstances. Thus, he finds himself at odds with those diametrically opposed to rehabilitation of convicts. Or those who believe in lawlessness and anarchy.
HISTORY
Baize Reav was born on the remote planet of Nadiem, to an interspecies couple—a human father and a Kiffar mother. From a young age, Baize was deeply influenced by his father's heritage, learning the ways of the Kilian Rangers, an elite group known for their Force sensitivity and martial prowess. This upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of duty and skill in combat.
Tragedy struck during his teenage years when the Bryn'adûl, a formidable and aggressive faction, invaded Nadiem. The invasion forced Baize and many others to evacuate, leaving behind their homes and lives. This event profoundly shaped Baize, hardening his resolve and commitment to protecting others.
As an adult, Baize returned to his home planet, now a seasoned and determined figure. He took on the role of a marshal within the Scar Worlds, a region known for its resilience and rebellious spirit. In this capacity, Baize works tirelessly to maintain peace and order on Nadiem, using the skills passed down by his father and fueled by his own experiences of loss and displacement./
