The Spacepiress of Chaos
The Recopia System
Recopia
A planet covered in sulfurous roiling seas, massive toxic gas clouds slowly churning and drifting over them with the only hints of life and civilization upon the various mesas and rocky formations that rise above those noxious fumes. Though lacking in terms of resources, the planet had its own to offer to the galaxy. Those City States cobbled together in a loose Federation, with only the exotic animals of their world to offer in exchange for the technology that they so highly valued and imported.
This however was not the reason that she was visiting the world. Rather it was for something else that she had uncovered, a bit of information hidden away in some old file. At one point, during the era after the fall of the Empire, the New Republic had set up a secret base on Recopia, utilizing it to strike at the remnants of the Empire. For her own plans, such a recovery would be a boon to the efforts.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as she leaned back in her seat, her eyes closed as the shuttle made its way across the system. The world of Recopia shimmered off in the distance, its bleak, dull brown haze providing all the information one would need of the world. Sitting up slowly, her eyes fluttered open, golden hues falling upon the world as she pulled herself up. Her hand held the over head bar, the shuttle jarring slightly for a moment as the pilots slipped around a rogue asteroid.
Nodding quietly to the few she brought with her, she stepped to the back of the cockpit, standing quietly as her hand came down upon the co-pilot's shoulder.
"Eta 10 minutes ma'am... We'll be setting down as close to the base as possible."
"Good... Make sure we arrive in one piece, and be on the watch for any potential defenses, automated or otherwise."
"Ma'am."
Lightly patting his shoulder, she slipped back towards her seat, holding herself steady as the shuttle shuttered when it began its descent into the atmosphere of Recopia. A soft smirk upon her lips as she slipped down into her seat again, her hands pulling her helm down where it belonged.
