Because the enemy carrier would be right next to the Tyrant, without it being quite able to completely screen the enemy flagship by the time the volley of 32 heavy long-range turbolasers, 4 heavy long-range ion cannons with the same yield, and also hypervelocity cannons, seven bursts of 88mm rounds alongside fifteen of the same 380mm rounds as before, would reach it, it would be possible that some of the fire directed at the enemy carrier hit the Tyrant instead, even though the reverse was the enemy's hope. Also twenty high-yield, long-range torpedoes were fired at the carrier's exposed hangar, in hopes of provoking a chain reaction that would take at least one of the fighter's fuel reserves or the ordnance magazines down with it (and maybe even the whole carrier if the explosion is big enough).

In orbit The Tyrant continued it's carved path to the SSV Heavenshield, the massive singular dreadnought still pushed forth by it's engines, a chunk of it's forward 'wing' torn off by the interdiction field that attempted to, but failed to pull it off course, the vessel being larger than what the Interdiction drive was meant to slow.

Can I get an edit here? The lead ramship is on a direct collision course with your flagship. At present course, Pac is not going to overshoot the Tyrant

The unit has been operating with Yasalamir since they got there. Here's a direct reference made before your post activating your thingamajig, where it is also mentioned that the Jedi with the bunch have positioned themselves in a way not to be affected. The Berserkers standard equipment loadout includes Yasalamir among a myriad of countermeasures and specialized training to resist Force based attacks/effects. The Dragoons will also be unaffected as they are Yinchorri. Finally, Katarn armor can be loaded with Yasalamir.
